Ive always received great medical care. The docs always answer my questions and educate me on procedures and why the test are important. The sales people have always been very helpful. I only used two boxes of my contacts... not for me. I didnt even know i could get a store credit for bringing them back! I hated to see Mary leave, but Mo has been really great to work with with as well.

My mom came here after going to Dr. Whangs office and him doing absolutely nothing to help her with eye pain and her not being able to see from her right eye and still charging her almost $400 and referring her for an exam to a specialist that doesn’t specialize in those exams. This office was amazing immediately found out what was wrong my mom, they were kind and referred her to the correct doctor! I 10/10 recommend this office and their staff.

Their website is user friendly. Each staff member that I encountered was extremely professional. Dr. Wong explained everything using terms and visual examples to help me understand everything. He was very patient and kind. Bilal and Amy were very helpful in making sure I had everything I need. This place is truly a gem!

It was my first time with Visual Health and the experience was great. For someone that struggled with accepting the fact that reading glasses is needed. Everyone was patient and understanding, they made the process easy and relaxing. I will recommend them to others.

Wonderful experience! I havent had an eye exam in quite some time and had been using reading glasses purchased on amazon. I scheduled an afternoon appointment. I was very clean and quiet. Dr. Wong was super! He took time to explain what he was testing and answered all my questions. I didnt realize that I also had some night/distance vision issues too. I decided to treat myself to a wonderful pair of glasses with all the bells and whistles. Bilal was awesome! I tried on several frames but wound up choosing the first pair he picked out....LOL! I just picked them up today and they look great! It will take me a bit to get used to them but Im happy I dont have to wear my reading glasses on my nose and look over them to walk around anymore. It was becoming a bit annoying but now my glasses function for reading, distance and sun!Thank you!

We have been clients for a long time and have spent thousands of dollars at this location over the years. My wife made an appt for my daughter and had a hard time finding parking after driving through traffic and didnt realize she had to call to be let in until she got to the door. She was 6 minutes late so they refused to take her for the appointment. I understand being really late, but 6 minutes? Come on. Ill take my money somewhere that has an ounce of compassion and consideration, particularly for a long-time client.

I was completely dissatisfied with how the office manager handled my appointment. I made an appointment 3 weeks prior and wasn’t given any instructions besides to go online and fill out paperwork. I arrived to my appointment 30 min early with my baby in the car seat carrier. I called the number, as suggested, when out front, and was told they would bring my paperwork to me to fill out in the car. I let her know I had the baby with me and it was a go from there. Waited my 30 minutes and walked to the door only to be turned away. After the gentleman answered the door, he told me I was NOT ALLOWED to have the baby with me and when I questioned him, the office manager came outside. She told me that no one was allowed to accompany, not even my baby, and that I was told that over the phone, in an email, and it was posted on their website. She said if she did it for me, should would have to do it for everyone else, and that it is their company policy. I told her I wasn’t told that when I made the appointment or even 30 minutes ago when I received my paperwork. I also told her couldn’t find any emails from them and she insisted that it was on the email they sent me and on their webpage. She then said they had a cancellation at 2 that I could come back for, alone, so I did. Thankfully I had hired care for the other children; my baby is just exclusively breastfed and that’s the reason I brought him along. When I returned I had my exam and the Doctor was easy going- not much to it. After my appointment I again let the office manager, Mary know my disappointment in what happened earlier. She said she will teach her staff about what they need to say over the phone. I asked her to verify the email they sent because I never received one. She said they did not have my email on file, that is why it wasn’t sent (not my fault), and I asked her to show me on their website where it says no one can accompany me, because I did a thorough search and no such thing exists- she then told me they don’t list it on their website because it’s a temporary thing. Had I not waited 3 weeks for this appointment & had completely broken eyeglass frames, I wouldn’t have returned. I didn’t purchase anything additional or because I wouldn’t put another dollar in their pocket due to their lies and discrimination. There was only one other patron in the office when I arrived for my initial appointment and don’t see how my baby could have burdened anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I dropped off a prescription for my son’s glasses on January 29th & after weeks of not hearing anything I called back & was reassured that the glasses were being processed but just delayed by the lab. After another several weeks I called back - still no glasses. Finally after FIVE MONTHS of being told the order was in process they no longer had any record of the order & the woman who was dealing with it was no longer there & they didn’t even bother to try and help fix the situation. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else!!!!

The staff was very pleasant. Followed COVID guidelines and I felt comfortable about being in the office. The Dr wasn’t trying to sell me on anything or getting glasses. We discussed what the problem was and she gave me some things to add to my daily routine. These ladies were awesome!

Im not sure how I feel about this place. I scheduled and appointment online the night before and received confirmation. The day of my appointment I called from 10am until about 2pm when I finally gave up. There are about 3 different numbers to call, 2 different ways to call and no one would pick up. I have a newborn thats exclusively breastfed and needed to get care for my child which caused me to run late. Granted that wasnt anyones fault in particular, stuff happens. I called and let the receptionist know I was running a bit late maybe 10 mins. She said that was fine. I pull up to the town center and spent a few mins looking for parking and walked up to the door and called the number on the window. The receptionist was so dismissive. I told her I was standing outside of the door and her answer was okay so what can I do for you? But the way it was said with a bit of an attitude kind of put me off. I explained I had my appointment and was late to which she practically cut me off and said well its not 16 mins past your time so we have to reschedule you. I have the following available and I asked if there was really no possible way that I could still be seen. Ive been to other doctors who are very forgiving especially with new patients about scheduling. Im not usually late to appointments so this is actually the first time Ive ever dealt with a reschedule while standing in front of an EMPTY office. The receptionist tells me if she helps me out then she will have to push back allllll those other patients getting ready to come in. Ive always gone to VisionWorks and I wanted to give this place a try since its closer to me. I will not be rescheduling to say the least. VisionWorks is much more friendly, understanding, helpful and flexible to its patients. I wont be recommending this office.

I really like this place. Im glad they have late pm appointments because I work most of the day. The staff is really nice, and the wait for me was reasonable around 10-15min max until they do your eye exams. Dr. Abazari is great. She ensures that you understand the results of your exam, and the changes in your eye sight. I think thats important because my eye doctor prior would rush patients out of the room without much explanation. Lastly, the billing person was great too. She was knowledgable and told me how my insurance works with my contacts and glasses. Thank you for a great service everyone!

I have mixed reviews about this place. Upon entering I was treated by respect by the employees and doctor. She did an outstanding job and is well experienced. The staff kept the place tidy. However when I called back, management gave me multiple issues, and not addressing issues which could be critical to the health of my vision. This company is not transparent. I would try finding their BBB rating first or corporate infrastructure contact before spending money here again. Overall the staff who care were great but unfortunately the management does not care about your vision.

Optometrist was awesome but the ladies were dismissive and sarcastically rude. I probably did not see on groupon rules that if I used Groupon voucher I must buy eyeglasses from them, since I read the review from another client that they just used the voucher for eye exam and took their prescription somewhere. I may be on fault on that since even up to now, IT IS NOT STATED IN GROUPON THAT THE CUSTOMER MUST BUY EYEGLASSES FROM THEM OR THEY WILL PAY THE FULL PRICE.the moment I got there, Seema or some middle eastern girl that handle the assisting, I told her that I have groupon, immediately REDEEMED my voucher, didnt asked any other options or informed me that if I used groupon, I must buy eyeglasses. When I stated that I would just like my prescription she became dismissive and rudely told me that i must buy eyeglasses thats why groupon is offered or else I was to pay full $79 price. Even I know price will be expensive, I still tried to politely inquire how much the eyeglasses will cost.Then I stated I will just pay full price then since Costco will have eyeglasses at cheaper price. I mean I am cheap, I get it. but I get high quality branded eyeglasses from Costco at same price why wouldnt I be cheaply wise? I get that they have business to run but I also have right to get my prescription specially if I pay for it. Then she dismissively told me that we will talk once she sees my prescription. still no discussion of my GROUPON VOUCHER THAT SHE REDEEMED HERSELFCame time my eyeglasses exam was done and I received my prescription, the middle eastern lady was ready to leave and she was telling the receptionist that I am only getting my prescription. That is when I asked her, well, since you redeemed my coupon already, do i have to pay just the balance? She said no still full price and that they will give me receipt and all I have to do is call groupon to get refund. WRONG! Groupon wont refund my money since it was already REDEEMED! I had to go through all the other trouble and call my credit card to dispute the payment. which informed me that i must still keep my documents on hand.Oh and here is the icing on the cake, I when receptionist ask if I will pay cash or card, I mention I am going to pay cash in lady on reception she has to repeat it in disbelief if I had to pay cash....Why asked then??? apparently, she doesnt have cash around for change. Then said if she doesnt do I have card to use to pay, I do, but the customer service on this place is a SINKHOLE!I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE! But if you still choose to, specially they have vouchers all over groupon, and you are using groupon, make sure you state what you need clearly and dont let them redeem the voucher yet. It was my first time using groupon. I was supposedly to get eye exam at Costco as well, but it was difficult to get a hold of their optoimetrist to schedule eye exam. Plus, I was fascinated to see I might even save money for eye exam from groupon, but I guess there goes the saying, you get what you pay for which is HEADACHE.I attached the Groupon need to know about the voucher and the reviews that said she did only took the eye exam and did not buy eyeglasses. So is it just with this branch???? in appreciation, compliment to Optometrist Wong! he was very nice, professional and answers all the questions

Needed to get checked out. First place I called was closed due to a water leak. So I saw some good reviews so I decided to book my appointment on line. There was a little problem with the appointment online but they still got me in and out in a decent amout of time. I do like the idea that they do take walk ins. The receptionist was very helpful. After the doc got my eyes figured out . One of the thing that was great was she answered all questions and explained everything and why she is doing what she did. The receptionist was able to multi task and get me sized for new glasses . Got checked out and on my way. Thanks guys

Thanks to the doctor for diagnosing my stigmatism when past doctors have perhaps missed it. However I came expecting one quoted price and left paying twice that because of fine print upcharge for the stigmatism. Nothing was different about the eye exam.No big deal, but gotta leave you a star. Work on the transparency.

I had seen more than 20 doctors in the past decade. I could not tolerate their prescription since I was getting unbearable headache, eye ache, and discomfort. Dr. Abazari listened patiently, examined thoroughly, did her due diligence, and was able to almost cut the prescription in half since the original one had too much power in it.

First visit was great. The staff was welcoming and the doctor was thorough, knowledgeable and patient. The second visit left a bad taste in my mouth. After twenty minutes past our appointment time, one of the staff initiated a discussion on lens pricing that completely excluded the help of insurance and a prickly attitude toward price matching. Final remarks, good store, good doctor, but some remedial training for certain staff members would be helpful, including an emphasis on punctuality.

Dr. Is great! And willing to see emergency patients same day. The receptionist on the other hand is so rude and unprofessional with a bad attitude, telling my husband to go to the urgent care or emergency room for a painful episode of a corneal abrasion. When all they were going to do is send him back to the eye dr to be seen by an eye specialist.. Thankfully the dr spoke to my husband and he got to be seen right away.Great Doctor, Bad receptionist.

A complete disaster of a place. 1) I walk into argument between the receptionist and a customer. 2) The forms I completed online were not in their system 3) The receptionist when talking with me kept saying my name wrong as if she was checked out somewhere in her head. I have just gone in for my third prescription & pair of glasses. I the past I have tried various places and have never been happy with the prescription, especially since I have migrated to bifocals. My prescription here has been spot-on from the beginning & I will not go anyplace else. Their frame selection is OK. For the second time now, I have ordered a frame from one of their suppliers that they do not have in stock and it has gone well. Also, not just the Optometrist, but he folk in front have been great as well.

The doctor and staff were both very welcoming! I used the Groupon and they were able to work out a really good deal on some nice glasses and then on top of that they made it so I could get a back up pair with out spending too much. Also I liked that they didnt try to push more expensive options that I may not have needed and instead honestly told me what I would benefit from. I was having a hard time deciding the style and was just going to get the same kind as I always do but Mary was helpful and told me which frames looked good on me and which didnt. Honestly she made me feel like a friend more than a customer :) I definitely recommend coming and seeing Mary if you want honest feedback, especially if you arent sure what type of frames you want.

My first appointment was a good one, but the unprofessionalism I experienced yesterday is worthy of this bad review. I went into the store and Mary (the front desk assistant) was trying to sell another customer glasses. I waited 10-15 minutes expecting to be helped. Mary had multiple opportunities to address me, but she did not. I continued to wait as she kept pressuring the customer into buying new lenses. During an uncomfortable silence, I kindly asked Mary if she wouldnt mind grabbing my contacts because my husband was waiting in the car with my crying 6 month old son. Mary proceeded to tell me how rude it would be to stop what she was doing and how the other customer had waited therefore I can wait too. I was amazed by her aggressive response. She was relentlessly trying to make a sale, even at the expense of other customers. By now another gentleman was waiting. Anyone who has worked a front desk job knows the balance between great customer service, time management, and addressing all customers needs (even the ones whose commission you earned last week). I was so shocked by her comment I left.

I was really nervous about how my experience would be after reading all of the reviews online. Dr. James and the gentleman in the front office were courteous and helpful with consultations and exams for my two daughters and me. I didnt go based on a Groupon, but chose Visual Health because they are one of the closest providers in my insurances network. Glad I did! I had no issues with co-pay. Only thing I wish was a bit different is cost/selection of frames for my 10yo. I dont need glasses, but if I did, I cant say that even though there was a large selection, that I saw anything I would have been interested in purchasing.If youre looking for a quality comprehensive exam, youve found the right place.

If you have trouble choosing which glasses to purchase, stop by when Mary is working. I just had my appointment last night and after a thorough and professional eye exam (highly recommend) Mary was like the fairy godmother of eye glasses! Seriously, shes the best. Mary was very helpful in helping me decide which frames actually look good and I didnt feel as though she was giving me flawed advice just to sell more expensive frames. She was also super patient with me as I tried on dozens of pairs and helped select frames I wouldnt have considered otherwise. I wish I could bring Mary with me any time I have to make a shopping decision!

I am very dissatisfied with the service that I received from the Woodbridge Store. I had an eye exam and ordered 2 pairs of glasses—regular and sunglasses on April 26. I was told that it would be 7 to 10 days for my glasses to arrive. I called on May 12 – 11 business days after ordering, I was told that sunglasses would be in on Wednesday, May 14. I was also told that there was a problem with the regular glasses--one of the lenses had cracked and they had to reorder the blank. When I called on May 14 no glasses had arrived. I was also told they were going to get a tracking number because they had been told that they had shipped the glasses. On May 15—14 business days after ordering, I went in to pick up the sunglasses. They had not arrived however, the regular glasses were in. I was told that they would call me when the sunglasses arrived, they did not call. I called the store on May 20 and was told that my sunglasses had arrived. This was 17 business days after ordering. The store was blaming the lab for the late arrival. I am covered under my partner’s insurance. She has used this insurance for 3 years, has ordered glasses and new lenses 3 times and has never had a problem. The glasses have always arrived and are ready in the 7 – 10 day window. This is totally unacceptable service. Since the glasses were promised within 7 – 10 days, and since I did not receive either pair of glasses within that time I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the sunglasses which was $244.00.

I have to be honest and fair. My initial experience with Visual Health (Woodbridge), was less than worthy of a 5-star rating, but when I expressed my concern and dissatisfaction with certain parts of my experience, my voice was heard, my concerns were addressed and resolved to my absolute satisfaction. I will give them a 4-Star rating because of the professional and courteous way my concerns were handled. My husband and I LOVE our glasses and will return to Visual Health for our visual check ups next year. They have a GREAT selection of eye wear for men and women and conveniently located in the Stonebridge Town Center.

First off, my appoint was for 4pm and I wasn’t seen until 4:20, given that the doctor wasn’t seeing a patient at the time. Second, I had come across a Groupon that I had not purchased but had called to make an appointment and told them I wanted to use to Groupon, they told me I could buy it there. I originally just wanted the eye exam only and not the glasses. When it came time to Checkout, the lady at the front said that the Groupon doesn’t line up if I don’t get glasses and would have to pay the full eye exam price. No where on Groupon deal did it clarify the deal in those terms. She was very rude with me and had terrible customer service and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money.

I went here last week with a Groupon I had purchased for $39 and it was for an eye exam and $225 towards prescription eyeglasses. After getting my exam, my eyes dilated, and picking glasses I was given a price of almost $500. When I asked why I was told because I had to pay for lenses as well. The Groupon I bought covered lenses as long as they were not replacement lenses. I have horrible vision and really needed to get glasses but ended up very disaapointrd and to top it off I had to sit around and wait until I could see because my eyes had been dilated. I requested a refund from Groupon but I have not recieved it yet. All I wanted was what was advertised and what I paid for. That didnt happen though and I wouldnt recommend them because they didnt stick to what they advertised and the guy advised I look into getting a refund indtead of him taking time to look at my Groupon.

The only doctor without those needlesMy sister and I went this last friday to the optomestrist to get some replacement glasses made. She keeps losing them all the time! She asked me to please accompany her.At Dr. Chase’s office, (Yi was his last name, I think) he asked me if I had any problems with my vision, to which I replied; sometimes I see blurry spots, mostly when I am kind of tired, I said. He replied, with a subttle hint of an asian accent: Have you seen a doctor? And I smartly said, …no, I only see the spots! We both chuckled. I did get them measured an everything, the lady up front made us a package deal.Needles to say, he did checked my eyes, and they were good (I thought he was about to sell me something).
