Can’t say enough good things about this shop, friendly from the moment I pulled up, took a look at a previous estimate and cut it to a third. He said “ I’m not in business to cheat people l” the service was fast and when I came to pick up car we talked about Elton John for 15 minutes that’s just a plus! I’m gonna refer him to every person I know.

My daughter brought her truck in and just let me say, I was blown away by John and his staff. These people went above and beyond! We were involved in a car accident. There was glass everywhere. We asked someone coming out of a restaurant if they knew of a place nearby that we could vacuum the glass out of the car. They said they had a auto shop nearby and to follow them. My Mechanic Joe opened up their shop after hours, just for us, so they could vacuum the car for us. Three people worked on our car until every scrap of glass was removed. At no charge! Wow! Saved us tons of money doing a pre purchase inspection here this past summer. We test drove first and it was fine, found this place close by and during his drive the transmission began to fail! He told us findings and gave us tips on what to look for in future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

After 6 months, two mechanic shops, and a very exhausting situation with the second most important part of a vehicle behind the engine, my brakes are finally fixed. I spoke to the owner about the issues I had been having and the temporary fixes other mechanics had provided which only lasted about a month and drained my wallet. He and the crew spent two days trying to figure out the exact issue with my vehicle and it turned out to be a faulty ABS that would not throw an ABS light or code. With manufacturers no longer making parts for after market mechanics, the ABS wasnt going to happen for a month or so. Instead of asking me to wait until the part came in he recommended I go directly to the dealership to get it fixed so it would be done as quickly as possible. Who does that? Who is honest enough to turn business away in order to satisfy the customer and not pad their own pocket? My Mechanic Joe! Thats who! Seriously cant thank these guys enough for the work they did in diagnosing the exact problem. Will definitely be back!

I had an awesome experience with My Mechanic Joe. I would refer them to anyone. I was informed by Ford that I needed new rear brakes and rotors, but Ford was pricey. After shopping around, I was referred to John by Jeff from Auto Zone. I called John and informed him of the issue. His price beat 2 other places, so I inquired on their earliest opening. John scheduled me for the next morning. I pulled in and was greeted by John. He jumped right on my car. I only had time to eat my breakfast and my car was done. I pulled off, and heard a noise and instantly called John. With all he had going on, he wanted me to bring my car back in so that we could take a ride and hear where the noise was coming from. We drove a good 15 miles and John assured me nothing was wrong, because of course the car ran as smooth as a whistle when he was in the car.😁 Once back at the shop, he wanted to do one more inspection. He put my car back in the air and he walked me through the inspection, checking front brakes, rotors and discussed ball bearings. I left feeling well informed and confident in their work. John took the extra step to ensure I left satisfied. I just wanted to spend money and he stated that he didn’t want me to spend unnecessary money if there was nothing wrong. I trust this shop and they have earned a loyal customer.

The owner, his wife, and the mechanics were all courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Felt like I was taking my car to a small town neighborhood shop as far as customer service goes, but every bit as up to date and technically knowledgeable as a dealer shop. I’ve always sought out the best mechanic wherever I’ve lived (across six states, from Colorado to Pennsylvania and from Michigan to Texas) during my life (60+ years) and so, I have had some very good mechanics work on my cars; however, John, Ryan, and the crew at My Mechanic Joe put the best to shame! I only wish I lived closer, so I could always take my car, my wife’s car, and the cars of my three sons to them. Recently on our 600-mile drive from Ohio to Georgia Tech, my son’s car overheated on I-75. Being that far from home with a potentially major breakdown is unsettling at best! I called a friend in Atlanta who gave me the name of their great mechanic, but he was completely booked for the next three weeks. Without hesitation though, he told me to call My Mechanic Joe, because they had great mechanics and were close to where my son’s car overheated. Within a few hours, they had the car towed to their shop and had begun diagnosing the problem. Besides being the best mechanics, they are friendly and complete professionals. They clearly explain the diagnostic tests they run, the issues they find, and the repairs. They are honest, do great work, and charge “fair and reasonable prices” (they replaced a radiator on the car for $330, whereas the very good mechanic I use in Ohio charged me $489 to replace the radiator on the same car four years earlier)! It would be impossible to find a better repair shop. I can’t say enough good things about this TEN-STAR place!

These guys are awesome. I got a quote from another mechanic in the area, let call him “Hike the Hechanic” and they gave me an obviously ridiculous quote. I went to see the guys at Joe’s and not only did they give me a better quote they were able to knock out the job faster. No one wants to feel hustled by a mechanic and they’re guys are legit. These guys know what they are doing!!! I took my Hyundai Veloster Turbo here after going to three shops that could not figure out what was wrong with it. Every other shop told me i should replace the turbo and that it would cost a minimum of $4,000 for the repair. This shop was able to pinpoint the issue immediately and fix it for < $500! And no, they did not have to replace the turbo. They are extremely nice, professional, and quick! I cannot recommend them enough, i will be taking all my vehicles here from now on

Fabulous experience! A Saturday late afternoon breakdown, while on vacation, was the start. We were dead in a subdivision and a young woman suggested we get a tow to My Mechanic Joes. We had several conversations with John(?) when we called the after hours number. We were assured they would look at the car first thing Monday morning. We know very little about cars, we were 600 miles from home and we were the perfect candidates for a HUGE bill. Not the case! Our dead battery was replaced, the alternator checked and rechecked, our car was driven and it was kept running in the bay for a period of time. John came with the news. The car was good to go. Nothing more than a battery. $105!!! An honest place indeed! We are very thankful for the prompt service, the courtesy of the men and the honest evaluation and repair of our vehicle. They fixed the mistakes that a previous mechanic had done to my car. They were efficient, friendly, and knew what they were doing. The garage is pretty open, so you can also spectate if you wanted to.

I brought my car in because the windshield wiper fluid was not working on the windshield or back window. The motor for the pump wasnt working and John got a new part transferred over to his shop. Once the new motor was connected, the pump worked. John disconnected it and reconnected the original motor and it worked, which was great to not be charged for replacing a part that wasnt broken. The fluid still did not come out, so John removed a front wheel and wheel well cover to check the hosing and found a rat had chewed through the hose. Once he replaced the hosing, the windshield wiper fluid sprayed on both windows. I was in and out in less than an hour.While the wheel was off, John mentioned my brakes would need to be replaced soon and showed me what they looked like. I asked if the rotors would need to be turned and he said with as smooth as they were, that wouldnt be necessary. Im grateful to have found a fair, knowledgeable, and honest mechanic.

Like all car owners we struggle to find a good, honest, and reliable auto shop. The mechanics and owner at My Mechanic Joe are great. I found them on the internet looking for a place to take my car after the check engine light came on. They took pride in their job and showed a great deal of respect towards ever customer that came in. They did not take advantage of me and my situation when they could have. Instead they started with the smallest possible issue and went from there. Thank you to all of the staff there and I have now found my permanent mechanics. Great Job.

I sat at a muffler shop that told me that they could put in my new HFC in same day to be turned away an hr and a half later!!.. I called around and got ahold of these guys and let me tell you... this was all last min and they took me in and completed the job an hr and a half before closing and made it all happen despite some issues.. they did a fantastic job and were very affordable... joe the mechanic is my for sure go to from now on!! My son Jason found My Mechanic Joe on Google and was needing an A/C Compressor installed on his 2011 Mustang GT. We where both very impressed by Johns professional and friendly demeanor. His team installed the compressor and then even showed us the condition of the old compressor and then provided very thourough knowledge of how the system actually works. I will be bringing them our Kia Sorento to be worked on. Would highly recommend them to anyone who is needing a quality mechanic.

I had been using big chain mechanics for a long, long time. I never felt like they were always truthful, nor did they have my best interest in mind. What a nice change of pace it was when we found these guys.John was very accommodating to my schedule. He did not push unnecessary services and he walked me through the whole process. The price was more than reasonable too. It was great to finally find a sincere and honest mechanic!

They are the most honest mechanics I have ever met. Their professionalism and integrity is like nothing I have ever encountered. I was having transmission issues with my 2014 Honda Civic that has 65K on it, the Honda dealership was convinced I needed a new transmission for almost $6K. My Mechanic Joe was able to determine all I needed was transmission fluid and the tightening of a sensor that had somehow come loose after servicing my car at the Honda dealership. They were able to solve my issue and get me up and running for less than $300 (that included towing and fluid changes) a used transmission would have cost me a couple of thousand dollars. These guys are the absolute best and very honest. They have won my business moving forward I can not imagine having my car serviced anywhere else. I highly recommend them for ALL your auto needs!!!

These guys rock! They had a my car diagnosed and repaired in less than three days which is quite the feat since there was a good slew of stuff wrong with it when I dropped it off. No complaints about prices and their customer service was great. As soon as I pulled up they greeted me and noted everything I needed done with a smile. I particularly like that they did not attempt to suggest unnecessary repairs or push for more expensive parts of the same quality. Its not uncommon for mechanic shops to use intimidation tactics to overcharge you and there was none of that going on here. I recommend stopping in here for your vehicle repairs and talking to their professionals.

This is a great little shop that I would recommend to anyone who needs work done on their car, big or small. I had some trouble with my car for several months (hard starting 90% of the time). I tried three different local mechanics before finally taking it to My Mechanic Joe. These guys were the first ones to not only take me seriously (one mechanic couldnt replicate the issue and didnt investigate further), but to actually diagnose the problem and repair it (failing fuel pump).They started with the simplest and most likely culprits, and in the process, they found a couple of other routine issues that the other mechanics never noticed (top engine in need of cleaning and transmission in need of flushing - my hand-me-down car had not had these things done in over 100,000 miles!). I have certainly been screwed by bad mechanics in my life - but with these guys, I never once felt like they were lying to me or trying to take advantage of me, and I felt that their prices were fair and competitive for the work being done. Once again, I would recommend this place to anyone!

So I went to this place yesterday to have a Honda Civic checked out that I was going to purchase. Let me just say that I was so beyond pleased with the whole process. John was the one that inspected my car. He was kind and very knowledgeable. He even took my husband and I in the shop while he put the car in the air, and walked us through the inspection process. I live an hour away from his shop, but my husband and I were so happy with his service, we joked about making the hour drive just to have this shop looked at our car if need be. What a life saver!!!! Car starts going crazy, gauges going every which way, lights flashing, dead on the side of the road...not only do they recommend a tow service that brings me straight to them & allows me to put the bill with my repairs, but this amazing staff uses all their resources and colleagues to turn a what...the...*$#$,# to back on the road in 1 day!!!!I priced the same repairs at a national chain and it was more than twice as much and they said they would have needed the car for three days. I was searching for a mechanic. I was scared to choose one because I’m an out-of-towner, I’m a double minority, and I was desperate because my vehicle broke down far from where I was living which forced me to live in my van.All this was a recipe for being taken advantage of. However, this mechanic took care of my problem like it was his own.I literally watched him call around for the best prices for parts. He showed me the problem before I could ask to see it to ensure that I knew he wasn’t just telling me any ol’ thing to upcharge me. And to top it all off, he worked extra hard and got my van fixed the SAME DAY.... let’s be clear... the problem was a complicated one. The tensioner bolt broke off at the engine. Everything is tight and close together. It takes a lot to fix that.As far as cost? He is reasonable and he worked with me. I would say, if he gives you a price that you’re not comfortable with, call around. I’m pretty certain you’ll find that he is beyond fair.One more thing. He’s involved in charity work. I found this out just by talking to him.He seems like a pretty stand up guy. What’s more important for this review, though, is he’s a good mechanic.OH! ONE MORE THING!!! You know how mechanics are notorious for stealing your change? I forgot to take my little change container (aka old water bottle that held my coins) out of my vehicle. It was still there when I got my ride back.Not one thing was missing.I’ll be returning to him for sure. Why go anywhere else?!?!

I had an issue with my daughters car. I took it Joe and he looked at it right away. He told me to relax that it was not a urgent as I believed. He could have hit me hard but he told the truth and did me right. When I have a real issue ai will call on My Mechanic Joe to handle it!

Reviews were great so I decided to check them out. The people were nice when I got there to. Went for check engine light. They told me 1 issue was the problem and will fix it and my light should turn off. Part was suppose to come in at 9am but didn’t happen but they were nice about it. Part came at 2pm plus a 3 hour job. Went home wait for call NO CALL. Blew their phones up no answer. Called emergency line and they guy said they left early without calling me to get MY car. I was upset but they came and picked me up to get the car. Once I left the check engine light came back on. They didn’t fix the issue or anything on the car they just turnt the light off. I called that morning to see what they were going to do since I paid 350$ and Ryan tells me to take my car elsewhere because he doesn’t know the issue!!!! So your telling me I paid 350 for nothing? It’s like once they get your money it’s forget you. Plus I did take it elsewhere and guess what!!! Mechanic joe didn’t fix anything and the part they claim they were going to fix Had nothing to do with the code that was pulling up for the light. I really wanted them as my permanent mechanic I just really don’t like how they don’t stand by their work. Didn’t offer anything when they didn’t fix the light issue just said bye go somewhere else. Again very nice people but they do not stand by their work nor produce documents that they did any work on your car besides turning off the light. They might not specialize in my car or seriously didn’t know the issue but I wish they were better at helping me being I am a woman and it’s already hard to trust mechanics

Joe Sr is a reputable man & seems to be handing the reins over to his son. Jr.... is a piece of work. Lies & tries to scare you in work that does not need to be done. Sr. should be ashamed of his son! Jr. takes advantage of those he thinks doesnt know anything about cars. Even tow truck drivers warn people not to use Joe Jr.I warn others NOT to use Joe Jr the mechanic. Your car will get mis-diagnosed & you will be charged crazy prices & steal parts that are reusable.
