I have been going to Oak Hill Eye Care for over twenty years. The staff, facility, and care is top notch! They have a great selection of eyewear too.I suffered with severe dizziness and none of my regular doctors could figure out why. OHEC discovered it was vision related, added to my prescription for my glasses, and it improved the quality of my life.They have been great with my kids too! Dr. L is very helpful and has a great “bedside manner”. I highly recommend this practice!!

Excellent experience.From beginning to end, everyone was very professional and personable; I wish I could remember everyones name. The exam process was very efficient but didnt leave me feeling rushed or hurried. An intern did my initial tests and graciously took time to answer my questions; it was cool looking over the eye photos with her and her pointing out different things. Dr. Stengel was chill -- took his time in reviewing my info, verifying and explaining everything, and answering my questions. It was much appreciated. Stacey in the eyeglass section was the icing on the cake. She helped me understand my vision plan and options, was knowledgable about the lense and frame options, and had helpful suggestions.This was the first eye visit Ive ever had where it felt like everyone that attended to me actually cared about the quality of the service they delivered and my concerns about my eye health.

Had an eye exam which was done very professionally with explanations of what they were looking for and the importance of the findings. Equipment is extensive and in perfect condition. At the conclusion of a myriad of testing Dr Tybor explained the results and next steps with glasses.I then chose my glasses from a good selection and the technician spent about 15 minutes working on improving the fitting on an older pair of sunglasses. After which he replaced my scratched lenses from my daily regular glasses.Overall, a first class experience.

The tech had so much patience. I had her repeat the slides numerous times and she was never frustrated. Although I’m not 60 ... yet😀 this is very important especially when it comes to the elderly. My mother has seen other eye drs (other offices) and has never received a good pair of glasses due to these slides going to fast for her. Dr Stephanie L. is just a pleasant human being. She always spends time explaining results and addressing my immediate needs. She has been blessed with so much grace and no doubt would recommend this practice.

It was my first eye exam in this office, I was so impressed on how much time was spent on my examFrom the beginning to the very end, always asking me questions about my health and how being a diabetic how important that I keep my levels as steady as possible. I called Oak Hill Eye Care at 4:00 on a Friday with a fairly urgent matter for my child, and they gladly worked me in before they closed for the weekend. We were not established patients either.The wait was minimal. Each person I saw introduced themselves and explained what they were doing in language I could understand. Dr. Tybor was so sweet with our 6-year old...you can tell he’s a father. Front desk staff was professional and friendly. I had never been to Oak Hill Eye Care, and now I’ll be back for future eye care needs!

Nice office. Very clean, front staff was super friendly. Doctor took her time chatting with me and making me comfortable and able to understand what she was explaining the whole time. The person who checked me out was great, and he helped me figure out cost with insurance and the coat of my new lenses. Unfortunately, the girl who took me back and did all my tests was not friendly and rushed through everything, making me feel like I was a nuisance. I had a lot of trouble focusing my vision during her exam and she kept rushing me. Even when I asked her to slow down and explainedy eyes couldnt keep up (which was why I made the appointment in the first place) she just kept going super fast, like she couldnt wait to lwave. All of her responses were canned and she was not friendly at all. I felt bad for being there, but the doctor and the intern doctor made up for it after, otherwise I would have left a lower rating. I do recommend this office, though, and will be back.

I have always received outstanding medical eye care from De Tybor and his professional and caring staff.

I had to use Dr. Tybor services for over 30 years, and I had the worst experience of my life! We went there during the snowstorm and my daughter took me, and we told them she had her mother-in-law in the car in the cold, and they said it wouldn’t take that long. They did all thescans and to techs, But never saw the doctor that I was supposed to see. I went out to the desk and the doctor was just standing there chatting with the staff. I asked him how much longer it would be and they told me not long. My daughter and I waited over an hour and a half and still no one came. We finally got our stuff went to the front and tell them we were leaving. We never got to see the doctor, but we got our prescription for glasses and left. My daughter talked to Dr. Tybor about a week later and told him how disappointed we were in their services! I just hate it after 30 years I won’t be going back.

Not sure if there’s been a lot of turnover in the vision service industry, but I called three or four other practices that were much closer to us, and found all of their front desk staff to be underwhelming. Receptionist staff at other places were generally clueless and made several bad attempts at getting our info and booking the appointments. Kind of a frustrating time-waster.On the other hand, When I reached Oak Hill Eye Care, I could tell the lady on the phone was experienced, professional and competent. There was no back-and-forth calls, dithering over info, just quick, calm service from someone who knew how to effectively communicate with customers.Our actual appointments were also thorough and went smoothly when interacting with all staff. I appreciate when people are good at what they do, and enjoy doing it. Even though you guys are at one of the opposite poles of the city, I’m sure we’ll be back next year.

I ordered some prescription Costa sunglasses here...absolutely best sunglasses ever. Also ordered some progressive’s. The alignment was not quite right. I took them back and they remade the lenses. After that they were perfect. I would definitely recommend Oak Hill Eye Care.
