Boston Volvo, by far made me experience the best customer care and this was because Dante was committed to his job. Dante, is a great asset to Boston Volvo. He was consistent with communication, and explained every detail I needed to know from day one and through the whole process. He also answered all my questions satisfactorily. He responded quickly to all my emails and followed up to see if everything was okay with the vehicle after a couple days. His attention to detail was noticeable. I would recommend anyone who visits Boston Volvo to request to see Dante and have the best customer service experience you deserve.

I recently purchased an XC60 from Boston Volvo (June 2021). The best part of the experience was working with Joseph Cruz - Junior. He was on top of the relationship from start to finish - ready to answer questions, following up proactively when we needed more information, communicating quickly and responsively on the status of the vehicle when it was ready for pickup. Cant say enough good things about how great it was to work with him. No run-around, just plain excellent service. Volvo S80 2002. Air bag recall scheduled 4 weeks in advance.Required to leave car for all day .on 9/10/21. On scheduled date arrived on time decided to have all day activities. changed to accommodate the all day service. After waiting on site for 40 minutes I was told that parts are not available and it would have to be reschedule by calling me. If no call soon, will approach other more reliable volvo dealership.Update: Changed to 4 stars. Service completed on 9/15/21 Thanks for prompt attention

Absolutely rude and disrespectful customer service. We walked in with a specific car in mind and the intent to test drive in order to make a decision. The salesperson from the beginning was assuming and wanted to know our motive for being there, he showed us the numbers and asked that we not waste his time. We asked to test drive the car and he declined and snatched the financial figure sheet from my hands. I do not recommend doing business with these people. They’re choice in this salesperson says a lot about how the handle their business.

I had reached out to Boston Volvo with an intent to schedule a test drive for a car I’ve been eying for months. A big factor in making a decision (I was also looking at competitor brands) is how the vehicle drives. The sales person would not even allow me to schedule a test drive until I choose a specific car in their inventory and told me to call back when I’m more serious about buying. I don’t understand how he could have possibly made that conclusion over the phone, but horrible first impression of this dealer.In fact, that same day we called a BMW dealer and they took us for a test drive with open arms.
I had a broken tire, repaired partly locally at a tire shop, but need to change a new tire. I called Boston Volvo service department in the morning, and they took me right away. They are very helpful and I greatly appreciate their work. I bought my Volvo at a different location, but will come here in the future.
I purchased my S60 back in January. I always loved the Thor inspired headlights so I checked it out online and sent a message in to Boston Volvo. I was introduced to Rory. From the first conversation he took time to understand what I was looking for and even made recommendations based on what I owned at the time. Within the hour he set me up for a test drive with the s60 of my choice and had it ready to go when I arrived. We discussed numbers and he helped me lay out every possible cost and mileage needed based on my lifestyle. He was honest and made the process seamless. Even told me where to grab a bite while he completed the paperwork. This was my first lease and needless to say Rory was instrumental in making me a Volvo owner. I will gladly go back to him for my next car and would recommend for anyone seeking a new car to ask for Rory directly. You wont be disappointed.
Boston Volvo has an efficient service department. I brought in my S90 for a recall and a 10K service and the turnaround was handled very well while I went on vacation. In particular, Valerie, one of the service coordinators, was especially helpful and helped orchestrate everything. Ill look forward to returning for future service needs.

I made an appointment a few weeks ago to trade in my V60 for a new V60 CC. The sales person I had was pretty responsive. They were texting me up until a few minutes of my arrival. I walked into the dealership and he introduced himself then said they don’t have any V60s in their stock and that they won’t have any come in until October. Um what? I understand that cars sell but you couldn’t have told me this as I was texting you on my way to our appointment? They knew I was only interested in a V60 CC. I was told I could look at other models. Simple bait and switch. I take the time out of my day to make an appointment and show up only to find that there were never any V60 CCs in stock. They knew what they were doing. Quite unprofessional and deceptive tactics, if you ask me.
Anthony and his crew took care of me way beyond my expectations! Amazing service overall. I never write reviews but I’m proudly writing this one because I will for sure be back and bringing all my friends with me.

Tony in the service department did a great job helping me out. I had a strut problem and was told that it was not under warranty. Tony filled out the paperwork for an appeal and was successful, so it was replaced at no cost to me (which was the right thing to do, since the car only had 50k miles on it). Tony went above and beyond and worked really hard for me. Very happy.

We had our vehicle towed here because it unexpectedly broke down. We are new to the area and had never had our vehicle serviced here, it is unlikely we will ever be back. We were quoted a price to have the vehicle repaired, several thousand dollars, and decided to move forward with the repairs as this is our only vehicle. When the vehicle was ready, the cost was, to our surprise, less than the original quote. We mentioned to the service team and were told the amount was correct. The following day we received a call that we were misinformed and we owe an additional $800 for the service and repairs. I placed a call to the Service Department manager to further discuss, but never received a phone call back. We found this experience to be highly unprofessional and quite contrary to what Volvo stands for as a whole-always putting people first. Prior to this, we had never had a poor experience within Volvo. I would not recommend Boston Volvo to anyone. I would rather drive my car out of state to be serviced by reliable and trusted Volvo Service Providers than to ever return to Boston Volvo.

We ordered our Volvo XC40 in early April from Kevin Larios. I think he had started at Volvo only a couple of months before then, but he was very helpful and was honest with us when we asked specific questions that he didnt know the answers to. We tow a small camper behind our car and wanted to make sure the towing package had the right components. Kevin made sure we got the answers to all our questions and was very attentive to us!

Had an absolutely fantastic experience. Phil was able to work everything out over email- so much easier than the dealers who make you come in ten times and try to get a back and forth going. He was straightforward and made the process incredibly simple. Dante and Michael were also great and really easy to work with. I talked with several Audi dealers and two Land Rover dealers, and all were a pain to deal with, you never got to talk to the same person twice, and it all felt like a runaround to get you to pay more. Phil couldnt have made this easier. I decided to go with the Volvo in large part because it was just a much better experience working with Boston Volvo. Im now working to replace another car through them. I would highly, highly recommend Boston Volvo Cars.

I recently decided I am going to be living outside the country for half the year. I am shipping one of my Saab to Aruba and I was concerned about parts. Not only did Sean in parts say that we could continue to call for parts and as long as he could send them to an address in the us first, he was also able to have Saab ship me the parts directly saving me time and the my cousin who mails me the parts time. My husband and I bought our Volvo March 2019. We only needed to come in a couple of times over the last year or so because ..well, covid happened. The first few experiences were pretty seamless and nothing out of the ordinary but recently the service team forgot to vacuum after an oil change (not a huge deal, but bummed nonetheless). Our girl Val went above and behind to make this up to us. It was her goal to make sure we left Volvo completely satisfied. She called to check in, scheduled a service to have or car cleaned etc. start to finish she was kind and personable and for that we will always return to visit her for our service needs :) thanks Val! Holy smokes! where to start.... I have a 2016 Volvo XC60 T5. My timing belt jumped due to a loose pulley wheel (really odd and rare for Volvos). My engines valves and pistons were toast as a result. I had my Volvo towed to Boston Volvo where Mike Hashem (service dept) took hold of the reigns and worked his butt off to help me. He looked at my extended warranty and hooked me up with a loaner (2021 S60) while figuring out the details of my extended warranty. What wouldve cost me about $10,000 ended up costing me $900, which was for related peripherals not under warranty (timing belt, full spark plug replacement, other belts). I was sooo stressed about everything, but Mike and Boston Volvo put me at ease. This is a place I trust... these are people I trust.

After browsing online at their inventory and other local dealerships I decided to give them a call the staff was quite pleasant, I didnt feel as if I had a pushy sales guy trying to just sell me anything. I believe his name was Nelson, very professional, and polite he was able to answer all of my questions right over the phone and we have an upcoming appointment for a test drive.

I went in this morning, needing parts so I could make sure I left for my trip on time. I had originally called several other dealerships. Boston Volvo was the only one with my parts in stock. Luckily Sean in parts and Mike O. were able to promptly help me and get me back on the road
What happened:I visited Boston Volvo in early July 2020 asking them to perform some basic tech II programming to my 2004 SAAB 9-3 (they are also an official SAAB place) to activate a set of recently installed fog lamps while keeping my main lights in Euro mode, which is a mode that allows for no lights on when the lights switch is in the 0 position. Adam Centauro at the service counter said they would do exactly that so I entered into a service agreement with them. Then, they called me about 3 hours later stating they cannot activate my fogs while keeping the lights in Euro, and would have to switch them back to North American mode (lights on even in the 0 position) in order for the fogs to be activated. Extremely disappointed, I told them to not turn on my fogs in that case, as I wanted to keep the option of having no lights. When I came to collect my car, they presented me with a bill for $149 for one hour of programming fees, even though nothing was done. I objected to Adam, but he said I would still have to pay.The next day, I spent two hours researching and confirmed that in fact it IS possible to program what I wanted, and moreover, it is a simple 10-15 minute job. That day I also received a how did we do? email from Peter Vincent, the person in charge of Boston Volvo Service. I emailed back stating my complaint only to never get a reply. The next day, I called Peter and left him a voice mail but Peter continued to ignore me. Two days later, I called their main number and said Im being ignored and they put me through to Peter only to get his voice mail. I left another message only to get more silence.Dont know the name of their mechanic, but did get a chance to speak to him briefly when bringing the car in. I can only say that hes no Tech II expert, which is unacceptable for an official SAAB place.past experiences:Six years ago, their mechanic DRILLED THREE HOLES in the unibody to better affix a front passenger side wheel arch liner. They never called ahead for permission nor were they instructed to do any work on the liner. This illegitimate act resulted in three ugly, rusting holes. Upon discovering these holes, I notified Peter, and he responded with silence. *Five years ago, I asked them to clean and re-grease the poly bushes for my front stabilizer. They performed the task ineffectively (bushes squeaked again in a few days), though I did not complain, as something was done.conclusions:Service your SAAB at Boston Volvo at your own risk! All of that text on their site about them being Americas oldest and most experienced SAAB service center/show room is in the past.They are mostly a Volvo outfit these days. I dont have any experience with that offering, but youll be dealing with the same people.update 1 (late July 2020):I complained to Volvo Cars of North America; here is an excerpt of their reply:Our authorized retailers are independently owned and responsible to conduct their operations according to their own policies....Unfortunately Volvo is unable to mediate disputes between customer and retailers and urge you to work directly with the dealer.Absolutely useless. One more reason to avoid Boston Volvo and getting a Volvo in the US: all of these dealerships signal that they are a part of Volvo Cars of North America, yet in truth they are nothing more than a collection of independent businesses accountable to no one! You see all those Volvo badges on their buildings, invoices, banners and think you are dealing with Volvo but youre really buying from Mr. Smith. how is this logical/legal???update 2 (early September 2020):as a last resort, decided to challenge the transaction through my bank, and won! Maximum respect and gratitude to my banks reps. So if you are a full service retail bank you should be okay trading with Boston Volvo.

Purchasing a car during a pandemic can be very stressful. However Boston Volvo took all the stress/fears away with their attentiveness, and no pressure sales approach. I had visited many different dealerships that trapped me for hours and aggressively call/texted me. My sales team at Boston Volvo included Dante and Phil who worked with me by provided honest feedback on the cars, straight forward pricing, and quick communication via email (as I had requested). I was never rush or pressured into anything. This is exactly how buying a car should be.

He has been taking care of my cars for years and I always see him treat all of his customers so well. Very much recommend asking for him if you need to get your Volvo serviced.
