Phenomenal!! All the staff here are great and always welcoming. Higor was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and great communication. Never rushes you to get things fixed unless required. Kept following up on the service requests/claims. I have known him about 2+ years now and never had to go anywhere else. He makes sure you walk out happy from the service and goes out of the way to do so. Couldn’t be happier to have anyone else work on my car.

I called James from Dana Farber and said, “I have a flat tire” and I was 50 minutes from home and uncomfortable driving on the run flat. James said, we are slammed but come by and I’ll take care of you. Because I’m sick, I didn’t want to be there a long time and he knew that! He got us in and out quickly. Love those guys and the entire experience at the dealership always!

Great experience at Herb-Chambers BMW Service Dept. in Boston. The only dealership in NH and MA to carry a rear tire replacement for my M8 Competition convertible. Had a flat and drove to the dealership, where Sam assisted me with great courtesy and professionalism. He even dealt with the insurance company to provide full coverage for the tire replacement. Best service ever!

The service was fine in that they did what they were supposed to do. But there were many issues:1. They took 36 hours to change a tire that they told me they had in stock.2. They told me my car was being worked on and would be ready by 630 pm. I arrived at 6 pm and told them. They told me they would let me know when it was ready before they closed. They closed without telling me leaving me stranded without a ride until an employee helped me get a loaner.3. I complained the next day about 2 and no one seemed to care.So, while I’ve had good service in the past, this was awful service. Hopefully it is not predictive of future service.

Not happy with the service. The oil change and service seems to be done correctly But I had to do a lot of follow ups with the dealership to get it done. There were 3 specific items listed to be checked in the car. No one offered any explanation or even exchanged simple pleasantries when I went to pick up my car. I had to ask to speak to service manager for it. Even after delivering the car 6 days later, there were no apologies offered but just plainly said the car is good there aren’t any issues. Definitely NOT happy with the service advisors there.I liked the fact that they offer free pick up and drop offs. Except that I wouldn’t rate this service or the experience at all.

Sheraz at Herb Chambers BMW Boston was a pleasure to work with. I was very specific as to what I wanted for a model and how much I was willing to spend. He got me the exact model year X3 M40i, color and price. I never felt rushed or pressured, I felt like I had a partner in finding the right car for me. It took almost a month of waiting but the right car came in and he called me right away to come for a test drive. I really appreciated the sales process and also the financing team was really great in letting me choose my best path.

My BMW X5 was recalled for airbag problem. I sent my car to this place to be fixed last Friday. The mechanic informed me that my car could be picked up on the day itself or on Saturday. However, that did not happen. I checked on the progress on Monday but found out that they had yet started the repair. The next day, they informed me that I needed to fork out 3500 dollars to fix other issues besides the recalled ones. Given their work ethics over the past few days, I rejected their offer. As a result, they took it out on my car (see pictures). Avoid this unprofessional and dishonest place at all costs!Update on 8/10/2021: Today I opened my glovebox and found they left a filthy face mask in it. What a suprise, thank you for your disgusting service.

Recently leased an X3 for my wife, and I truly can not say enough good things about this dealership. Car pricing was more than fair during difficult market conditions and the team really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable during the process. We came to sign paperwork about an hour before closing, and never felt rushed or pressured - and they even went to bring the car around - when we already knew exactly what we were getting - just so we could see it. No hidden fees / shenanigans - just a professional and well run dealership that cares about the customer experience. The staff was knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions - ultimately securing our business over competing dealerships. Huge shout outs to Mike, Jasper, Sheraz, and Omar for making this an incredible car buying experience. I will certainly be back when the time comes! Highly recommended that you give them a shout - you wont be disappointed!

Positives: The service rep was friendly and professional; drive-in car service was convenient; a nice loaner car at no cost was a big plus since it took a long time for work to be completed. Also, they cleaned the car before we picked it up and that was a nice touch.Negatives: Extremely expensive repairs for things that I was surprised to learn about in a car with only 32k miles. $5,700+. What gives? Labor costs were astronomical, akin to hourly wages of a cardiothoracic surgeon. And they didnt even inspect our vehicle which was a major reason why I took the car in for service. Yes, the battery needed to be replaced, but $475 for a battery replacement seems pretty outrageous. The charges for other services also seemed highly inflated.At the end of the day, the car works fine. But this dealership needs to have a reality check given the extraordinary costs of service. The quote I was given was $800 LOWER than the final bill. Not a good precedent for a potential long-term customer. 3 stars is probably generous but Im at least happy the car runs well.

I have to say..Sam Dias is the best! He always makes me feel welcomed ..I won’t go to anyone else..I brought my car in for an oil change and the multi point check ..Tom was the mechanic who worked on my car and sent a video ..I hadn’t planned on doing more than an oil change but based on things Tom said in the video ..I decided to change two filters..coolant svc and spark plugs ..I appreciate what he had to say..including my car is in excellent shape..and to be able to discuss with Sam the items brought to my attention is beyond helpful..he is always so considerate when I ask questions and takes the time to answer all my questions ..like I said..Sam is the best ..he is the kind of person who promotes good will for your business ..he is a keeper!

Herb Chambers BMW service department resolved an issue that my regular mechanic was unable (or more likely, unwilling due to the diagnostics involved) to fix. Helped with transport and provided helpful updates and all communication over text. Efficient and painless. Significantly more expensive than an independent mechanic, but sometimes the brand expertise is worth the cost.

Buyer Beware! I purchased A BMW last month after my daughter’s 2008 BMW was given an estimate of $15,000 worth of work. BMW took very good care of us. But daughter 2019 X3. Last week my wife’s 2013 BMW broke down and was towed into BMW Boston shop for repair, break caliper seized. $3000 later still not drivable but dealer installed a new alternator and battery etc. ..for what? Total mis diagnosed problem. Should have had it towed to my own shop. How do you plan to make this right?

They lie, ignore their customers, no respect, keep you waiting hours and hours without results. A complete waste of time. I had previously brought the car in while it was under warranty because the passenger seat belt warning light was going off. I was told that a loose wire had caused the problem. The seat belt warning light started to intermittently go off again. I brought it back and was told that the vehicle was checked but since it was not malfunctioning at the time there was nothing they could do. I left the dealership and on the way home noticed the emission warning light was on. I subsequently brought the car back to the dealership and waited for almost 3 hours while they replaced the flaps which had been the cause of the problem with the emissions warning light. The problem with the flaps was created by the service department when I brought the vehicle in for the seatbelt warning light.The original service representative was not aware that the flap issue which caused the emissions warning light could have been caused by the service that they had performed to check the seat belt warning light. I spoke to another service representative, Kyle, who explained that there was the potential that the seat belt service work could have indeed caused the flap/emissions warning light issue. He also said that the seat belt warning light issue can be caused by condensation affecting the wires and that when it dries the seat belt warning light issue stops. This explanation seemed to fit the intermittent seat belt warning issue since there were several exceptionally high humidity days leading up to the intermittent seat belt issue. This service representative seemed to be very knowledgeable.It was a very frustrating experience having to wait 5 hours over a 2 day period to resolve issues that were either caused by the service department or were in the the case of the seat belt issue unnecessary.

Crooked service/repair department- I went in for an oil change and was told oil was leaking from a recent repair by a local mechanic. They wanted about 1600 to redo and were aggressive about wanting to fix it so that I could safely drive it off the lot. I took it back to my local mechanic and he was concerned about my driving it without the repair, but took care of it with a 48$ part. End of story. No further issues. Saved 1600$.

I went to this dealership to get my BMW checked out as I was losing power when I accelerate on highways. I was told it will be $169 to do the diagnosis of the car and there is a complimentary check on other parts and fluids. I had an appointment at 7:30AM and it took forever to get my car back about 12:45PM as I waited in the lobby. Then, I was informed that the technician took the car for a ride and could not find the problem. He then recommended changing the tires and oil pan gasket due to some leaks for $3853. They did charged me for this recommendation about things you could figure out in the complimentary check. In fact my local mechanics had already recommended so. I went to them because they are the experts on BMWs to troubleshoot my problem and they charged me for not actually doing what I took the car in for. I am not going back to this dealership because I did not like the service at all at this dealership this time around as the first time it was good before Covid.

I have been going to Herb Chambers BMW of Boston since 2000. I’ve since purchased 6 BMWs from them and my experience has been 5 stars+ in both sales and service. Sheraz is the BEST sales representative and has sold me all of my vehicles. Additionally, James Gibbons is the BEST service advisor (previously, Chris Anslono was my service provider but he transitioned from the company and he was also amazing:)), but the point is, no matter what my needs are, these guys are there for me 24/7. Currently, I own a 2020 X5 and the minute I need something, I can stop in or call James and it’s taken cared of. James either gets me a loaner or provide a car service for pickup /drop off instead of having me wait. A friend of mine owns a Range Rover and in recently took it to the Land Rover dealership and let’s just say, the service was not the same. I wouldn’t switch the make of vehicle I drive for this very reason. I love Herb Chambers BMW of Boston:)
