Everyone is really nice and Dr Adel Ibrahim is a very funny and nice guy
The staff was very friendly and very professional. I found the optometrist to be very competent and set me up with the best fitting and performing contact lenses I have ever had. I highly recommend them
Great experience! No long waits, Dr. Ibrahim had me in and out of there very quickly. I enjoyed his fun magic tricks, and he walked me through every step he was taking so that I knew what was going on. The staff was very friendly. Overall, really great!
Annoying. The magic tricks are a little condescending and obnoxious and the whole experience is like going to a car dealership. It’s fast talking, up-selling, and only focused on charging you as much as they can. They make you feel badly for not buying immediately and wouldn’t immediately give me my prescription. Definitely not going back.
Excellent experience. Staff were professional and friendly. Tiana (sp?) explained each exam. She was very proficient and thorough. Dr. Ibrahim discussed the results of each exam with me and answered my questions completely. He was friendly and professional. I will definitely book my next appointment with him. Great job to all. Keep up the wonderful service.
Dr. Ibrahim was extremely thorough. He spent a lot of time with me to finally, after 8 years of going to many eye doctors, find the right contact lens combination that I need. He was determined to find a solution and even tested my night vision. I am seeing better with contacts than ever before. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and patient. They also have very strong COVID protocols. They did not push extra sales on me and stayed late to finish my order. It was the best eye experience. Thank you!
A big thank you to Dr. Blake for being able to see me the other day!! Ive been have a real rough time with my eyes recently and once I was able to explain a little of my situation - Dr. Blake was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day. In short, my ophthalmologist mis-diagnosed my condition with Convergent Insufficiency and actually have the neurological issue Optical Neuritis (enlarged optical nerve.) Thanks to Dr. Blake - I didnt have any lasting issues, but he took the time and patience to learn what actually was wrong with me vs. being a numbered patient for the day. Thank you again sir!!!
It was my first time seeing Dr. Ibrahim and I have to say he was exceptional. He told jokes, spoke to me like one educated person to another so I didnt feel like I was being talked down to, and overall made the experience wonderful and inviting. The front staff was incredibly welcoming and sweet from the time I walked in to the time I left. I am upset I didnt get the name of the individual who was helping me in the check out process (she had short hair and wore thicker black framed glasses and is from Oregon!), but she and I were talking like old friends and she got me an incredible deal on my contact lenses, which I had never purchased through MyEyeDr. before! I usually buy through 1-800-Contacts because Ive never had vision insurance until this year and figured it was the cheaper option, but she was super helpful in breaking down the pricing, exceeding my expectations with said pricing, and also explaining the rebate deal they had going on. I also want to mention the great COVID protocols they have in place--making sure everyone is screened upon walking in with a questionnaire, temperature checks, and also providing medical grade masks for every patient to make sure everyone has the same level of safety. I usually have good experiences at the Frederick MyEyeDr location, but this one stood out to me so much so that I had to brag!
This is the best eye care center in the Frederick area for me. I have been to different centers but this is the best over the past couple of years for me. Its so hard for me to choose which pair of glasses suit my face but for the past few years, Jenny (who works there) has been so helpful. She walks me around the store and helps me choose the right pair. And, she takes the time and effort to make sure it fits my face the way I want it (shes always so patient and polite with me).I get so many compliments on them, I love it! I highly recommend this place and to ask for Jenny when trying to find the perfect pair for you!
Dr. Adel Ibrahim had great customer service, was friendly, funny, and professional. My eye appointment was completed in a timely manner and he went above and beyond to make sure that I had what I needed. Would definitely recommend!
This is where mom and I first got there when I my eye got blurry. I need glasses to see clearly.
They texted me my new glasses were ready. Called to arrange a pickup time, no appointment needed. Just call when you arrive and they bring the glasses out for a sidewalk try on and brief consult. Worked beautifully. If more adjustments are needed then you set up an appointment.
These people are criminals. They charged me $91 for one box of Contact lenses. That is well overpriced. They did it so they could use my entire insurance package. The average going price for those contacts are $60. They should be reported for that. Also, at my appointment i had an eye infection coming. The next day I had a full blown infection in my eye. The day before at my appointment it stung when I put my contacts in. How could she not have seen that? I wont be back.
Dr. Ibrahim: 10 stars. He is a very intriguing guy. Kept my full attention the whole time! He definitely knows how to work with all different kinds of people. He was very easy to talk to and very kind. The contacts he recommended to me are incredible. Instead of 20/20 vision, I am seeing 80/80. They are very smooth compared to the old brand I was using prior to my visit. Dr. Ibrahim pulls some fun tricks out of his pocket and puts on a show. I think this was the most fun Ive ever had at a doctors office thanks to Dr. Ibrahim. Youll have to go see him to find out! He knows how to provide a service with a smile and I think he is genuinely smiling while doing it. A good time had by all.Gina: I went out of my comfort zone and found some red glasses I wouldnt generally wear, thanks to Gina. (I was looking for something different, too) She was a very sweet lady and definitely didnt rush me in any decisions. Answered all of my questions promptly as well! The rest: 2 stars. If you dont know what youre doing and if youre a young person, these types of places will tack on extra things you dont necessarily need such as an extra $25 for warranty or $50 for a glare guard on your glasses. Pay attention, as these things were added to my invoice without asking for them. In other places, I have been asked prior. (although I did have them removed and they gladly did so) - I was also overcharged $160 because they had made a mistake with my insurance and I have to wait 6 WEEKS for my money to be returned. Please start playing attention instead of making errors that will cost their customers a good amount of money that the general public would not have caught. I have a slight feeling this happens often, when the logical people catch on, they will apologize and refund you.
Dr. Ibrahim was awesome! I was a new patient today, and certainly the best eye doctor experience I have ever had, and I’ve been wearing glasses for over eight years. He was so personable, answered my questions and explained things to me. If it was based on Dr. Ibrahim and my actual appointment with his staff, I’d say 5 stars of awesomeness. As far as purchasing frames, the sales staff were kind, but they seemed a little disorganized and inexperienced. I really felt like they were trying, but the sales team just didn’t have the expertise and experience I’ve had when purchasing other glasses. They certainly did not seem like they were committed to helping me find glasses I completely loved, or explaining the different lenses and types of glasses to me. The selection of glasses was a little limited. While they had many, many pairs, many were the same style/color/frame. Not as many variations in size/color/shape of frames available. And were they a bit expensive? Yeah, even after insurance unfortunately. And they made no mention of any deals, sales, or promotions going on, even though Dr. Ibrahim said their was a special on sunglasses. Because of this, I just left with one pair of prescription glasses, even though I was hoping to get some sunglasses. Additionally, this is the first store I have been to in years that took manual eye measurements. All the stores I have been to before used a computer to ensure accuracy. I will certainly go back to Dr. Ibrahim again, but I will take my prescription to another shop to buy glasses.
Was pressured into buying distance and reading glasses frame styles which were completely different than what I had been sold at the same location 2 years prior. I kept saying the frames were very different but no one seemed to be listening. Two additional salespersons were enlisted to convince me that the new choices looked great on me. I kept questioning the styles chosen for me but eventually gave in. After the sale, I asked if I could have perused all the frames in the store on my own and was told I could have down so, but that news came a little late. Two years ago the sales associate took me over to the metal frames and we looked at them together, rather than sitting me down and making all the choices for me. I dont care for these new frames and hope I can return them. If these are right, why were the other ones from 2 years ago wrong?Follow up: I returned with expectation that my frames would be exchanged for others closer in style to what I had been wearing, only to discover that they had only one or very few metal frames in that style. Now, I realize why I was initially shown only different, non-metal, frames -- thats all they had. If they had initially told/shown me this minimal selection (as the associate did today), I would have postponed the purchase till much later when the selection might be greater, possibly in Sept.of 2020, when my next eye exam was scheduled and the prescription might be different. Today, I stated that I might just keep the initial reader frames purchase only because finding distance frames to exchange seemed so impossible. I gave up for today. They said I have 30 days from the date I received the glasses to think about it. Im not sure what the answer is here, where exchange is the only remedy, and where there are very few exchange choices.
My family and I came in for eye exams and for my wife to get new glasses. The front desk was very helpful and clear with instructions. When we were taken back to be examined by Dr Ibrahim, we were greeted with a friendly face and an incredibly knowledgeable doctor. He answered all of our questions clearly, and he was FANTASTIC with our 8 year old son. Amazing experience, well be back.
I really like this place very professional and the best eye center so far that I been to. The workers there were nice and very helpful! The eye doctor I had was very good and had me and my wife laughing because he tricked my wife many times with a napkin trick. Lol!
Love the staff at this location. Dr. Adel Ibrahim is amazing. Eliza and the staff do an excellent job helping you choose the right frames. I will definitely come back with my entire family next year.
Best exam I have had. Everyone was great with my 13 year-old also. The glasses selection was good too...
Called because I needed samples for a few days before my appointment. Girl named Rihanna helped me. She just said yea don’t have a lot of room for samples and we wouldn’t have your prescription anyways. Didn’t bother to go look at all. Very disappointed
This was only my second time coming to myeyedr and it’s been great! BUT this time, it was an amazing experience. Optometrist Adel Ibrahim made my experience one to remember. Not only is he a great doctor, but an awesome magician. He made my fear of going to the doctors alone disappear! Thank you, Dr. Ibrahim. I’ll be sure to come back and I will be expecting more magic tricks!
Easily the best eye doctor experience Ive ever had. You come for the eye exam, you stay for the comedy and magic routine. Dr. Ibrahim is an absolute legend. The rest of the staff was great and made everything a breeze. 5/5
Excellent experience. I needed new contacts and glasses. My wait was around 10 minutes and the whole exam was quick and painless. The doctors and staff were very courteous and outgoing. Pricing was what I expected (a little on the high side) for contacts and glasses, but you can price-match with any legit retailer - if you ask them. You are also given the choice to opt-out of any exam choices, if you dont feel comfortable paying for them.
Great experience today. I came in at 5:30 and there were quite a few customers in the store but the staff was attentive and friendly. They were able to get me in to see the doctor on the spot! They were efficient and thorough and answered all my questions. I found the price for contacts to be reasonable and there was no extra charge for shipping to my home. Glad I found a new eye doctor!!
The Dr. was fine, but the prices are unreasonable and the sales staff is pushy. They don’t want to show you anything inexpensive, don’t give you any kind of deal when you try to purchase more than one pair and of course, my glasses were not ready when promised. I will definitely not come here again.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Our daughter is still asking the next day how the Dr. did those magic tricks, lol...
Dr. Adel Ibrahim provided a eye popping experience. He puts a patient at ease and makes the visit a breeze.Eliza Ghaznavi and team (Jenny) are gracious and kind.
The staff here are all very professional and very friendly! A special thanks Id like to give to Dr. Adel Ibrahim who I had an appointment with the previous week. He was very friendly and yet kept his work professional. Id highly recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Adel Ibrahim Is the best!!! Very personable!!! Staff are very helpful and nice. Definitely would recommended this place.
We had a great experience at the Frederick MyEyeDr. Eliza made sure our son had the perfect pair and was over accommodating. Thank you Eliza!
The worse customer service I have seen an a long time. You explain that you cant see to read out of your new pair of glasses and you get a response its new your eyes need to adjust to them. Really so driveing I can see the road fine but cant read the dashboard ony car. Always have in the pass.Need to train your staff to listen to the customer truly listen. Called in to talk to the manager to say she is to busy to take calls I understand why.Well its been 37 day and called in about my refund first was told takes up to 30 days when I said its been 37 days she stated the corporate office is only open Monday through Friday. Takes them 30 second to take my 475.00 dollars but 40 days to refund it. This is why I will never back in for them to fix my eye exam so I can get contact. They dont care enough about customer service for my business anymore at this point I want my money back. To go to a real doctor.
Gave up on having frames replaced. Was told they couldnt find the perfect frame for me. Underlying message was the I was just too picky and problematic. So I opted to have frames I was stuck with better adjusted. However, while attempting make the frames sit flat on the disk the associate kept saying that she didnt want to break them. When I initially picked them up I was told the wobble was OK. Later, was told it wasnt. The associates there say different things. So now even having frames adjusted there is an issue. Why was I initially sold frames that werent straight? I had other questions about the fit but the associate was having so much trouble I just gave up. These people are not only heavily sales oriented and untrustworthy, they are technically deficient. They should work at used car lot. They use the same approach: Sell them what they dont want then stick them with any problems. I wonder who their statutory agent is.
Went to pick my glasses up Jason helped us & was great ! He explained everything I needed to know ! Staff was friendly and welcoming
Fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and fun. I was seen ahead of schedule, which might be a first in the history of medical practitioners. They have a great selection of frames, the prices were decent. My whole exam was done incredibly fast and Dr. Carren was hilarious and awesome. They give great options to tide you over with lenses if your prescription runs out before renewal and a free pair of non-prescription sunglasses. I really cant recommend this place enough after my visit, Ill be back annually for glasses or contacts. Thank you guys, I really wish Id come here earlier.
It was my first time at this location and the staff was super friendly and made the checking in and out process a breeze.Dr Adel Ibrahim is a fantastic optometrist and was happy to answer any questions that I had.
Dr. Adel Ibrahim is great. You must come to this eye dr. He will make you feel at I have been to other eye dr. But Dr. Ibrahim makes the difference in customer service. I would give more stars if possible. Me and my wife will definitely be back here.
All,This is the worst Eye Doctor to ever go to.First, the one doctor, Rhonda Martin, gave me the wrong prescription for my glasses and contacts. She even missed that I have an astigmatism. She was in such a rush, that I knew something was possibly wrong. I went ahead and gave her the benefit of the doubt (because shes a Doctor) and ordered my contacts from them.A few days later, I noticed the contacts were becoming extremely irritating to my eyes. I couldnt see well, everything was blurry and my eyes would become extremely dry.I again, went back to this place, and they had me see another doctor. This time is was Dr. Jack Stone. This guy has absolutely no bedside manner and has the personality of a rock. He confirmed that the prescription was indeed different than a week earlier, with Dr Rhonda Martin. He also noticed my astigmatism, that she didnt catch.I advised him that I was concerned about the dryness in my eyes, and he recommended a new contact, from the same company that the original contacts were from. When I asked about alternative brands, they completely shut me down and refused to give me any information about other brands, besides CooperVision. This made me extremely upset.I am new to contacts (about 2-3 weeks now) and I have been doing a lot of research for people with Dry Eye, Astigmatism and those who look at a computer all day for work (like me).Jenny, the person who orders the contacts, was extremely rude. They didnt have enough trials to give me, so essentially I wouldve run out of contacts before they would come in.I was so upset with everything, and me getting the run around, that I decided to go to another Eye Doctors Office yesterday. I explained my story to them, and they got me in right away to fix the mistake that these eye car professionals at MyEyeDr made.I have emailed their corporate office, I am curious to hear their response. From my observations and what they said to me, it seems that the people of MyEyeDr have some sort of side-deal going on with CooperVision, where they will only sell their brand. Not only is this extremely unethical, it doesnt allow the contact user to get a brand that they need.Bottom line, HORRIBLE experience all around.Avoid if possible!Go to a real eye doctor. Not these shady eye doctors who probably only get paid $14.00 an hour.---UPDATE: 2/15/2020 -- Walked in there to return the contacts that I paid for, and requested my money back for the eye exam that they messed up on, the 1st time. Jenny, the contacts girl, told me that was not possible.I requested to speak with a manager, however, the manager was on a conference call at this time and would get back to me Tuesday. Not holding my breath, but will post an update!
This was my first visit to MyEyeDr. and I will not be returning. I read reviews and saw that quite a few other reviewers were charged fees or billed for charges that were not disclosed to them. I called the office prior to scheduling an appointment and verified that my appointment and contact fitting would be covered in full. The receptionist transferred me to the insurance specialist who entered my information and told me it would be covered in full. When I arrived for my appointment, I verified with my contacts in hand that these contacts would not require a specialized fitting and would be covered in full. They again confirmed everything I was saying. I was talked into the retinal images which were an additional fee.The appointment with Dr. Martin was great. She was friendly and did a great exam.I finished up, paid my copay and headed out. 1 month later I received a $95 bill in the mail. I called the office and spoke to Taylor who said the insurance denied my claim because of THE TYPE OF CONTACTS I WORE. She reassured me that she would have the office manager, Jess, review the information and give me a call back on Saturday. She said if the insurance company does not cover it, they will waive it.Jess never called me on Saturday or Monday. Instead, an office assistant called and stated that the insurance would not cover the fee because I DID NOT PURCHASE CONTACTS. Completely different than what Taylor told me.I called back and spoke to Jess who was unapologetic and less than interested in the matter. She also did not care that Taylor told me this could be waived.Bottom line, they charge you for undisclosed fees and nickle and dime you for everything they can. AVOID THIS EYE DOCTOR.
I love this location. Staff and Drs are top notch. It’s a very busy store but the staff and Drs do their best to answer all your questions and help you pick out awesome glasses. I’ll definitely be back next year!
Had to take my glasses back a couple times before they got it right...but when they do get it right the glasses are really nice.
My wife stepped on my glasses while we were on vacation in Fredrick. MyEyeDr. rescued me that day, Saturday. Fixed them in about 30 minutes, and charged nothing. Fantastic! Thank you so much!!!
Dr. Molly Carren is one of the best! Very caring, listens to my about my lifestyle and how I need to be able to see; and delivers! Very pleased - again!
Like you, I had come to the conclusion that customer service in America was a thing businesses of old offered. That sentiment changed after my recent visit to MyEyeDr @ Wormans Mill. My optometrist, Dr. Carren was the most invested, knowledgeable, and kind optometrist I can remember working with during my 30 years of wearing glasses. Similarly, my optical consultant, Kasey with a K, spent more than an hour exploring lens and frame options with me. The time Kasey spent with me, however, was not the most important aspect of my visit. It was Kaseys investment and enthusiasm for the process that prompted this review. We tried on dozens of frames and she never once acted as though she had something better to do with her time, but Im sure she did! In the end, I found a terrific pair of frames, had new knowledge about my vision, and felt truly appreciated as a customer, and a person. In total, my experience at this location was exemplary.
Always a good experience. I’ve been going for a few years now. Very kind staff and Drs. are always nice and informative. You also get a nice pair of sun glasses with contact order.
The staff is absolutely wonderful. They were all friendly and professional. Incredibly efficient and helpful.I have been to many eye clinics in my lifetime and have never been so impressed with an optometrist and clinic.I was seen by Dr. Ibrahim and he made the experience so positive. He is just the BEST!This is now my forever eye clinic and I recommend you give them a try as well.También hablan español, y te tratan de lo mejor.
Last year these people replacd the lens on my Ray-Ban sunglasses. Shortly thereafter, the lens coating started to peel and continued to get worst....which was clearly the result of a defective product. I had moved from Frederick; however, was in town this week so I stopped by MyEyeDr. The Office Manager told me the warranty for a defective product was 30 days, but more so, said I was responsible for the coating peeling...how she arrived at this conclusion, I have no idea. My guess is that the lens were not a Ray-Ban product, but a cheap off-brand MyEyeDr. was selling as I have worn Ray-Ban sunglasses for over 50 years, and never experienced any problem like this. Plus, the Office Manager then tried to sell me new lens for $350.MyEyeDr. sold a defective product, tried to blame it on the customer, claimed a 30-day defective product warrany, and then tried to sell new lens for $350.Frederick residents needing eye glasses, please take note of how MyEyeDr. operates......you can get much better service elsewhere in Frederick.
Love the service at this location, they work very hard to make sure everything is right.
MyEyeDr exceeded my exception!Eliza found me my first pair of glasses that fit me really well! Absolutely Stellar red carpet service upon checking and through the eye exam!
Very nice people, service dog friendly, good pricing... Whats not to love?! Thank you all so much for taking care of me!
Staff is always really friendly and are very helpful in showing you glasses that look good on you! Dr. Martin is also very nice anytime I need an exam!
One staff was very rude. Hard to believe that bad attitude and service still exist nowadays. The front desk were friendly and helpful. But one bad experience ruined my love with My Eye Dr.
This branch was covered by my insurance. So I trusted it. I was told that they except my insurance.First experience: called to find out if my insurance was excepted. I was told it was and if I wanted I would pay a minimum of $10 out of pocket. This is plastic lenses and glasses that were covered under my insurance policy ($150 or less). After the eye exam I was escorted to a “sales” rep, which barely aknowledged me. I was passed off to another sales rep after I was confused and couldn’t see to well since my glasses were broken and i needed new ones. I had another rep help me asking for help on which glasses were for males. I was (probably Company and sales directed) to Oakley’s and name brands that cost $100+ over my co pay. I asked for glasses that were covered with minimal co pay. I was then take to glasses that were in a drawer. I found perfectly fine glasses that looked just as good as the $100 plus dollars ones. He found them in dark brown for me, as I had asked. Thumbs up!But the unethical stuff started to happen at the counter. I had asked to keep the out of pocket as low as possible, again quoted $10 copay with my insurance for the most basic glasses prior to my appointment. We sat down and as I expressed I want the cheapest pair for my policy due to my past record with glasses braking, I told him I wanted the 1 year warranty, I break my glasses a lot. The he suggested other lenses cause I use a computer at work, I appreciate the concern but I have had plastics lense before for two years and they work great. After telling him I did not need the protection he presented me with a bill of $80+ dollars for what I expected to be a $10 co pay solely. I told him I didn’t need that and what that part of what I need to pay, he said “oh sorry didn’t know you didn’t want that”. it was never buy t even given an option He twice tried to throw on things we never talked about until (thank god) he broke down the bill. At least they do that, so you have a chance to realize you’ve been scammed. Don’t get robbed cause that’s what this staff tried to do to me. I’m in sales and this is criminal . Don’t be filled they added almost $50 to my bill on bs. If you buy the $35 warranty, why would you buy what I was told would cover the glasses for $25. Why protect the lense if you can from I’m told “bring the glasses in pieces and we cover it” don’t pay for the lense protections it’s cheaper to bring the glasses broke. Buy the $25 warranty. Don’t let then up sell you they exclude rates and try to quote you prices that are additional charges. Pray on ignorant people. Not me. I’ll never go back.
Completely unable to run insurance. 6 months after my appointment I received a bill for an additional $200 on top of the $500 I already paid due to them saying my insurance wouldnt pay. I contacted my insurance who said they never received a claim from them. Contacted MyEyeDr several times and each time was told it would be fixed and they would contact me shortly with an update. Never once was I contacted by phone or email. Completely ludicrous that I had to pay out of pocket to avoid the bill going to collections.
My experience has been below average. It started off fine, the doctor and person assigned to help me pick out my glasses were both very nice. However, when I picked up my glasses the lenses looked horrible in the frames, strange white cast around the edges of the lenses, and a huge gap between the lens and the frame on the bottom right. I came back later that day because I couldnt stand it and the person at the front desk basically tried to usher me out the door. When I said Id like to restyle if they cant get the lenses to look better they finally said theyd reset them and buff out the edges. That didnt help so they offered to get the lenses recut when I clearly didnt want to leave it at that. Its been three weeks and I havent heard anything, I finally called and they said maybe theyd be ready next week. Prices arent great, quality is way below average, customer service is average at best.
MyEyeDr participates in my insurance. I thought this would mean I’d get an affordable pair of glasses that look decent. Not only are prices ridiculous -even after insurance- sales reps are either unable or unwilling to help choose frames, lenses or features that will drive down the price. I have vsp, and was surprised that I’d be paying $180 out of pocket. For a pair of glasses? Too greedy for my blood.I usually read google reviews with a grain of salt. Most interactions with staff were at least pleasant - but in retrospect most negative google reviews for this MyEyeDr are probably accurate. It’s apparent that most business is done with insurance referrals or persons familiar with the area. I’d wager, however, their business doesn’t come from return customers, because the store is sterile, superficial, and costly.
This is the absolute worst place to deal with. Nothing but problems since day one (and continuing to deal with). Only giving 1 star because 0 stars wasn’t an option. I’d suggest going anywhere but here.
I am very frustrated with My Eye Doctor, which purchased Alleghany Optical in 2016. I have called 4 times in the last month to talk to them about problems Im having with my new trial contacts and wanting to stay with my previous brand. All four times Ive talked to a person and all four times Ive been told I would receive a call back after they talked to the doctor. I have never received a call back. Ive never received such poor service from them, and never from my other doctors. Not sure the problem but still waiting on an answer.
When me and my daughter entered the store we were ignored and when other people walked in they were so quick to welcome them. We left the store and i was dissapointed to see such rude behavior.
If I could give a 0 or -1 I would. They have they most incompetant staff and smug store manager EVER! In July of 2017 I took my son in for an eye exam. I provided his insurance information and his fathers information as he was the policy holder. We picked out glasses and I was told I would get a call with what the final price would be, so I waited. In August I called them (they were suppose to call me) to ask about my sons glasses and was told that until I paid half of about $500 that they could not make his glasses. I found this strange because his father and brother wear glasses so I KNEW there was vision coverage. I ask did you run his insurance and was told yes. Due to the price it had to be submitted to court for verification of coverage. I waited, I got my answer and called back and spoke to Eliza the store manager and was told that basically what they provided was what it was, EVEN THOUGH the verification said something completely different. Ive NEVER paid that much for glasses or an exam no matter who had coverage on our child. So I started calling around because by now it was November and we were 2 months into school, my son NEEDED his glasses. I found another location (well be going there next time)but that would have took additional time. So instead I called these peoplee back and ask to speak to Elizas boss, his name is Cliff. Cliff pulled up his computer and low and behold the insurance was priced out just like it should have and now I only had to pay $126 (quite the drop). Only problem is now I was physically unable to work. Had this been done back in July this wouldnt have been a issue. So I saved. Today I was $26 away from FINALLY being able to get my sons glasses. Then I get a call and I was ABSOLUTELY LIVID. One of the workers called and left a message that not only are my sons glasses done they have BEEN done, its January 2018 SEVEN WHOLE MONTHS LATER. Then to boot they ran the insurance and the price was $64 the amount of the frames. If they had done their jobs back in July I would have paid the $64 cause that was just about half that they said I would have to pay to get the glasses started. So yes I called Cliff and informed him of this unacceptable level of incompetence. I told him I was on my way to get my sons glasses and and didnt feel I should have to pay one dime. He agreed. To add insult to injury I have been a nurse for TWENTY YEARS. I not only worked with physicians, but in billing, and for an insurance company. I KNEW that what they did was wrong and apparently Cliff did to. I will NEVER EVER take my son there again and I would advise you not to either. Because if you live in one state and they dont recognize your insurance it might take 7 months and 2 calls to Cliff (the district manager) for Eliza (the manager) and thed staff she supposedly manages to get you or your childs glasses.
Very helpful and nice employees.
Watch for extra charges for services they didn’t say were OPTIONAL. Shop smart and you’ll do well here
Staff and doctors were very rude to my mother and I and pushy with their deals. It was also very obvious that they assumed we could not afford anything there which is really ignorant. I dont know if it had to do with my race but thats what it felt like. Im never going back again.
So ridiculous expensive with or without insurance they charge you way more for services. went somewhere else and with insurance services only was $50. I would never recommend this place.
They do not take all insurances, despite their false advertisement.
Horrible people. Liars. Dont go there
Great service,,,very thorough eye exam and great follow ip
Whos on first ?? This location is behind the times, bad directions, wrong information even though I filled out an online request. Wasted my time. Staff is ignorant !!
Called earlier and was told they had the contacts I need in stock. Apparently they do a bait and switch just to get you to buy though them.
They have bad deals on prices of glasses comparing to other markets
Dr. Adel Ibrahim is super professional and courteous. The way he treats patients makes them feel very welcome. I dont like to visit any office, but my experience in this office was definitely great. If I could give six stars I would. Oh too, Dr. Adel Ibrahim speaks Spanish;)
