I had to go into the store a few times throughout the week and each time both Joe and Roman were very helpful. This past time when I went in Roman put on the screen protector that I had just bought from the store. He then noticed that the one that I bought was broken. They wanted him to just charge me the $8.00 for a new one but instead he bought the new one for me because he said that is not the right thing to do. I was very impressed with the service there because of the fact that Roman was willing to buy the new screen protector because he did not feel it was right to make me buy a new one and that he took the time to put on a new one. I highly recommend going to this store thanks to the great people that work there.

I went to this store to get a new phone line. I was there for over an hour because they had to verify my identity with their 800 number the guy that helped me was great. However after having multiple problems receiving the items that I ordered and speaking to the 800 number several days in a row I then called the store and the store manager hung up on me said there was nothing he could do to help me with the issue I was having. I canceled my order and I am sending the phone back that I received. I will not pay a restocking fee for AT & Ts inept service. I have noticed the corporate company has a one star review, I should have looked at that before ever walking in to an AT & T never ever again. My mother has been with them for 20 years and she is canceling her service with them that is how bad they are. Absolutely zero customer service from the store to the corporate headquarters.

I would give 5 stars because Chad was amazing in helping us with our purchase and setting things up. Very knowledgeable he went above and beyond in my opinion. Definitely will be my go to store from now on and I dont even live in Helena. I took a star off because the store had no phone in stock! I think that was a timing thing. Over all great experience. Customer service sucked. Once they had my money they didnt want to provide any further help. They didnt provide and I couldnt get any info on the phone or plan I purchased. I still dont know what kind of a plan I received nor its price. I dont know the price of the phone nor my monthly payments.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever encountered.The gentleman helping us was constantly answering personal phone calls. He basically chose a more expensive version of the phone my father wanted without asking. He didnt even set up the phone for us or provide us with the proper items to set it up at home.Brought it in the next day where they tried to charge us for their own faulty equipment that the other worker failed to install.They even went as far as to change the phone plan entirely without asking.

Multiple unrequested services were added to our line without our approval, costing us a chunk of money (e.g., why would a $100/month data plan be added, plus $10/month insurance, when we asked for the simplest, low-use voice and text only line on their cheapest flip-phone?)We had to bypass the store and go direct to AT&T to get these unrequested charges removed. We wanted to support a local franchise business, but that seems to have been a mistake. They took advantage of us. That wont happen again. WARNING,

I have lived in Helena for 5 years, and the employees at this store are always so kind and helpful. My husband and I went in to get new phones this afternoon, Alex helped us, he was so patient and kind throughout the whole process. I went into the Helena store a few months ago because I was having trouble with my Samsung phone that I had paid off a couple months before. Chad ask me a few questions about my phone and after answering them I was able to see that my phone was dying. I wanted to buy another Samsung phone as I had been happy with the ones I had in the past and I had not been happy with iPhones in the past. I told Chad this. He ignored me and talked me into buying an iPhone. They didn’t have one in stock so I had to wait. While I was waiting I looked the phone up and found out that it didn’t have an earphone jack so I couldn’t use my headphones. He sold me a $100 screen cover and unfortunately I opened it. I went back to the store and found out that I could have exchanged it for $45 but since I opened the screen cover it was $145 and I decided I would have to live with the phone. Chad told me everything would transfer from my old phone. Not true. He sold me insurance without telling me, he was supposed to ask me, I had to pay for a month before I figured it out and canceled it. This wasn’t all. But the big thing is that I hate, hate, hate the phone. It seems like I find more all the time that I hate about it and I am stuck with it. Now I feel about the AT&T Store salesman the same way as I feel about car salesmen. Thanks Chad.

WORST experience with at&t in 15 years. Lost my phone in the middle of a two week trip & needed to get a new one. Had the option to switch to Verizon and get on my bfs plan or he could switch to at&t with me.Thursday: Initially the customer service was OK because Chad knew we were considering Verizon. No promotions or offers, all he said was “we can do better than Verizon”. I asked for a price and he said it would be $200 a month for both of us to get new phones. Once we agreed to go with at&t, Chad was friendly enough. He was unable to keep either of our original phone numbers at&t or Verizon so we agreed to a whole new phone plan with two new lines to make it easier for him. He said they didn’t have the phones in store but they would be delivered Saturday or Monday at the latest.Over the weekend we realized that although the store was supposed to contact us to pick up the phones, they had never retrieved our contact info. We stopped by the store on Sunday to leave our information and met a most unpleasant Mariah. She stopped her poor interaction with another customer to ask us what we wanted. We said we were just checking in on an order from Thursday morning. She barked that the store doesn’t receive deliveries on Saturday. We attempted to leave our contact info but she cut us off saying the number would be on the box (new unactivated lines so she was going to call the box...) and she would call that number “if she wasn’t busy Monday or Tuesday”. We gave up and left.Monday morning: upon walking in the store Mariah barked “they’re not here”. We came by again around 5pm hoping to encounter someone else who would be willing to take down our info. We were greeted by Chad who had forgotten who we were completely but Mariah interrupted all customer interactions to bark that the order was in the back.Chad gave us a phone to set up on our own and said we were good to go. We asked about the other phone which he had clearly forgotten. He said it hadn’t arrived. After being interrupted multiple times and explaining our situation AGAIN Chad agreed to take down our contact info. We thanked him explaining we had been anxious to come into the store because every interaction with Mariah had felt like an attack for no reason. He said she was new but it was still no excuse.Tuesday: no call. We checked by at noon with no luck. We checked again at 6pm - still no. Chad said he couldn’t access tracking info. but we should have gotten an email. We reminded him AGAIN that he never asked for our email to start the account. He said we could call 611 for tracking info. I sat down in the store and did so. Long story short, it took getting an at&t rep on the phone to get Chad to look in the back “for the 16th time” and find a phone that had been delivered at 11am. So it had been there when I first stopped by at noon. Supposedly the phone was placed on the wrong shelf by an associate or so we were told. At the end of it all I asked for half off a phone case to make up for the awful experience and chad said all he could offer was a promotion to buy $100 tempered glass and receive 20% off a case. What an awful deal. But he made sure we knew that at&t reps will put on a screen protector when you buy one. Cool.Entirely unacceptable customer service. No one at this store listens before they speak. Customers are not remembered and notes are not taken seriously. We basically paid $2,000+ to do everything ourselves and be treated like trash. This store is probably costing at&t more money than it brings in. Go somewhere else.

I went in to switch two phones to AT&T Prepaid with auto pay and multi line discount. Seemingly a simple task. Over three hours later, I left with one phone working, a call into tech support to get the other phones data plan working and neither phone on the proper data plan. I think I would have been better off doing it online and taking my chances with porting the phone numbers.Boosted to two stars only because of a quick resolution by the AT&T corporate office in Kalispell that got everything fixed.

I asked to purchase a prepaid SIM card with mobile data. However the mobile data tower was down and they did not inform me of this until after I had paid. In other words, they sold me a prepaid unlimited mobile date plan that had NO mobile data. They knew this, or should have known this, and should have told me before I paid. The manager, Pete Rosario, refused to refund my money saying that prepaid plans are non-refundable -- even when the service does not have mobile data. The fact I was not told before purchasing the SIM card, and the fact Mr. Rosario would not refund my money, to my mind shows an intent to defraud at the consumer. Be careful before you purchase plans from this store.

The staff is uneducated and selling completely rubbish products!We were a group of 5 people asking for a best deal with some mobile data which works in both the US and Canada. We planned to travel only for one week and the woman in the shop assured us that there is definitely a plan for us. We paid $50 and happily left the store with working connectivity. Nevertheless, after 2 days when we crossed Canada border, the internet stopped working and for 5 days we were stuck in Canada without any connection even though the shop-assistant promised us that the sim card will work in both countries! Please have some training for the staff and do not spread the wrong information to customers.

Went to this store in December to upgrade 1 line I had for a Christmas present. As I was in there they offer me to upgrade another line because their iPhone XR phones were on a bogo deal. But I was getting an iPhone XS Max. I went ahead and got the XS Max, and paid off two other lines to get the XR phones under the impression it was a bogo. They told me it’d appear on my account within 3 pay cycles, never appeared. So I call 611 they tell me they did it wrong. I was supposed to add a line but if they didn’t inform me of that they’d have to credit me for the bogo on their mistake. I go into the store and they claim it has absolutely nothing to do with them and I need to get ahold of people working with the 611 contact number again. Big waste of $600ish to pay off two lines under the impression I’m getting a deal just for this store to have been trying to trick me into sales. Probably the last time I’ll do an update with AT&T. As soon as my current contracts are up I’ll be visiting elsewhere.

I would like say how great the service was I received from the crew at this AT&T store. Even though my cell service is with a partner of AT&T (Consumer Cellular) they helped me move all my files from my old samsung AT&T smartphone to my new Samsung AT&T Galaxy S5 Active which was a used phone from a friend, My old phone was really old so it took them awhile longer than normal to move all the info. I have to admit that I am somewhat smartphone challenged but they made me feel right at home helping me understand all the new stuff that my new phone could do. While I was at the store several more customers came in and were all greeted with a smile and hello how can we help you from this crew. Something you just dont see and hear much anymore. Big thanks to this AT&T crew!
