Pharmacy is absolutely terrible, each time I go there the staff is miserable and rude, customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. You call them and get put on hold for eternity. The manager there is actually really helpful and kind, but the pharmacists are horrible and super rude. The pharmacy needs an entire overhaul in terms of customer service, and actually get people in there that don’t hate their job and want to genuinely help people!
I received a Text from Walgreens saying they had Flu shots for 3+ so I set up apts. for my 3yr old and myself. The first question was date of birth, so they knew that he was 3. We showed up to the apt and they pharmacists said they dont do flu shots younger than 7, so I showed them the text. They seemed very confused by this and decided to verify it. We waited and then the pharmacist said you have to have a prescription for flu shot for someone that young. I then asked why is there not something that pops up when you enter the date of birth ?? They didnt know. My son who has a pre existing condition and who is too young to get a covid vaccine was subjected to a store with unmasked people for 30mins for absolutely no reason. We had masked on and kept our distance from others, but I would have never taken him in there if I simply knew he could not get it there. I done everything I can to keep my 3 yr old safe. Now not only does he have to be exposed today but when we go to the doctors office too! And I do not understand how a private business whos main business is a pharmacy where medical professionals work that they will not enforce masks. I hold people in medical fields to a standard, and Walgreens has failed. You are doing no more than the bare minimum to stop the spread of any germs. You had people with no masks coming in to pick up prescriptions and get their covid shots, hang around and wait for both services. Not sanitizing pen, clip boards or any other surfaces in between uses. Even my doctors office has clean and dirty pens. No hand sanitizer or masks available to the public They did have wipes in a free standing container but you would only be able to reach them if you were at the counter picking up prescriptions so if you were filling out the paperwork you wouldnt be able to with out getting all in someone elses space. I Call cooperate and complained as well. I want Walgreens to take the pandemic seriously, you know better!
Customer service used to be be excellent but the current pharmacy staff needs to be trained in customer service. I went there 3 minutes before closing to pick up my son’s medication. “The oh my gosh!”, attitude of the pharmacy tech the moment I pulled up to the drive through window was on open display. It was so visible that it was almost impossible for her to hide it. She was in so much rush that she told me that my son was not on my wife’s insurance when he was, the lack of empathy and understanding coming from her left me in disbelief. I ended up leaving the medication because she didn’t have the time to verify my insurance information because she was in so much rush to close. They need to improve on their customer service skills. It would go a far way to build a positive relationship with the people and the community you serve.
This Walgreens location is great. Their staff are super friendly, especially Ms. Mary, the older front cashier who works mornings; and Francesca, the younger girl who switches between front cashier and pharmacy.I dont see the manager all that often, but whenever I do, he always makes it a point to stop and ask if Im finding everything okay, or if I need any help finding something. The pharmacy staff are also very helpful. They have never made a fuss over getting me certain non-prescription items (such as OTC meds) in the drive through. However, the drive through can be slow at times, so anytime I bring my prescriptions inside and wait while they are being filled, they are always quick, usually less than 20 minutes.
On April 1st I had an appointment for covid vaccine at 7pm for my mother who is 81 years old. The pharmacist there refused to give vaccine to my mother because she had a Florida drivers license.Covid vaccine is a Federal Government initiative, so should not be relevant which State License she has.Furthermore, the Covid Vaccine is not even an insurance matter, it is given to any US Citizen. My mother did not have insurance with her at the moment. The Pharmacist said he cannot give vaccine because it would be a fraud. What is he talking about? Why Fraud? Please, employers of this Walgreens, please teach this pharmacist that it is not relevant which State the person is from, nor it is relevant to ask for insurance. All US citizens has right to vaccine at any place in the US as all vaccines are paid for and owned by the Federal Government. The reasons this pharmacist gave to rejected my mother who is 81 years old, at risk age, who is US citizen, who has Florida license, who did not present insurance, these are all nonsense, lack of education on this matter. Please kindly learn and train the pharmacist so they do their job properly.
Not the best pharmacy by any stretch of the imagination. They are very short with the answers to you questions and the feeling they give you is they could care less about your needs.
The pharmacist went out to the store while I was in drive thru to get an OTC for my baby tonight. Thanks for Kindness. Will always shop here!
The store staff are great . Courteous and friendly .The pharmacist and pharmacy is another story. Always out of my medicine. They could more customer orientated and nicer . I think hes gotten better but pressure takes a toll on people in different ways . Looking for a different store.
Always greet me, and ask me if I need any help.Cashier & workers on the floor: nice.Pharmacy tech and pharmacist: super nice.
Quick stop. They have a little bit of everything. Pharmacy staff works very hard. You are always greeted by the someone when you walk in the door. They have wine and beer. Their clearance and sales are pretty good. After holidays are the best!
The new Manager goes out of her way to be helpful. Evelyn and Rose work hard and care about customers. I like the automated phone system and it calls to remind you of refills and pick ups. The line in drive thru and counter is long sometimes but honestly its not the workers and Walgreens should do a queuing theory type study to determine the need for additional staff. They had a Pharmacists filling in one time who was awful and she had the nerve to act like my Doctor was a total idiot. For the record hes one of the best in his field. I had to come back which was time so Walgreens should watch who fills in and type of customer service they provide. Bottom line full time group are fabulous and care about their customers in a very busy location. Walgreens should read these reviews and reward the staff! One last thing Pam a Pharmacist who use to work there was the best I ever met and over the top customer service !
He manager is a great guy. Listened to everything I said and made an effort to make it right. He actually went above and beyond what was expected, and even jumped on a register to ring people up.
Great variety of neat things and the employees are great.
Thieves dont buy from them. Most of people dont know that each Wal greens has different prices.I went to buy over counter baby relief drops. Our friend in Clear sent a picture of this medicine include the price, I went this rediculus one in league city and I found it 30% extraI will never buy from those thieves
Very friendly. Pharmacy staff is out standing!I rarely have to wait long.
Great selection and a very helpful and friendly staff!
They take forever to answer the phone. Wife gave up waiting on hold after 20 minutes.
Worst Walgreens ever
