I needed to see an eye doctor that accepted my new insurance and could fit me in in the evening after work. I was glad to have found this little gem. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The doctor was very much on time and personable. More importantly, he was knowledgeable and took the time to actually talk to me about my vision and my dry eye issues instead of rushing me through like other eye doctors have. He even gave me some drops to try and taught me some things about my eyes I hadnt heard before. Very pleased, thanks doctor!

Ive been going there for over 10 years now. The staff is always nice, Dr Micheal is great. My kids and wife goes there as well and its always a good professional experience.

The best care at Classic Optical by Dr. Bernadette Lynch with a complicated eye issue. She is very detailed and explains everything which is nice when you are facing the possible loss of vision. She went out of her way to make me comfortable which let me work and not worry. I never write reviews, but for this - had to. Would recommend 100%.

The staff at Classic optical is amazing and got me in right away after I scratched my cornea! I am very thankful for everyone at Classic Optical for helping me without notice when I has in such discomfort! Dr. Conklin was very personable and made sure I understood the nature of my visit and the follow up care needed. I recommend Classic Optical and will be a patient for life!

Full disclosure, I havent visited this eye doctor in several years and heres why Im writing the review now..... My eyesight is extremely bad. I have wanted contacts for so long that I have continued to try to get them for over 15 years. For context, I have an extremely bad astigmatism so much so that it was believed for a while that I had Kerataconus. I dont.Back to the review, I had done some research about hybrid lenses (hard and soft contacts mixed) and wanted to try them out. This eye doctor said I couldnt wear them and could only try hard contacts because the hybrid lenses wouldnt fit mg eyes. I figured might as well try them. I got the ones he ordered in and one of the powers were wrong. No big deal, my eyes are bad so I figured that was bound to happen. The eye doctor was frankly rude when I went in to get that fixed. Not to mention the contacts didnt fit right. They kept sliding on and off of my eye so much so that I couldnt trust them. They would also move and feel like someone was stabbing me in the eye with a fingernail. Just awful! There was problem after problem with them, one time while I was driving one of them popped out of my eye and I had to pull over because I cant drive without them thats when I had enough.When I went in the get them fixed, he made the letters so small that I couldnt see them and got attitude when I kept telling him to switch back to the previous number. He said something along the lines of You need to choose right when you see it, thats why it was wrong the last time. Well sir, I couldnt see the letters and I had a foreign object in my eye that didnt fit right so thats a little difficult.The new contacts he ordered in didnt fit right either and I lost faith in this doctor at this point. Its also worth mentioning that I paid $400 plus for these contacts out of pocket because my insurance didnt cover them with me purchasing glasses (which wasnt discussed when ordering them).Needless to say I switched doctors after this whole ordeal.Fast forward a few years, I had given up on contacts but my eyes have gotten so bad that its now considered medically necessary that I wear contacts and my current eye doctor (Abundo Eye Care) literally suggested the hybrid contacts I had originally asked this doctor about and I have been wearing them for several weeks now with no issues, hence the reason for the review now. Save yourself the money and trouble from this eye doctor and go somewhere else.

I went in and they had me waiting for more than an hour it was just to much wait for me.. they need to get their schedule right next time. For now I won’t be coming back

Dr.Conklin is AMAZING! His staff is always friendly, and the provider himself is very knowledgeable and personable. He takes his time with each patient and I feel he has my best interest in mind at every appointment. Highly recommended!

Went to this provider due to convenience and our vision plan. It had been a while since our last exams. The service was prompt and on time, and the staff was attentive. Felt like maybe we were being oversold on the examination because we really just wanted updated prescriptions. Had the feeling that we were visiting an Ophthalmologist rather than an Optometrist. We paid premium prices for the services! The finish on the frame is already chipping off easily, and the frame was expensive and new. Parking was a hassle - not that easy in and out.

My first visit to Classic Optical was a good experience. The women at the front desk were nice. I did not wait long at all and I actually did not see any other patients while I was there. One of the assistants quickly did the preliminary checks and showed me into the doctors office.Doctor Lynch was polite and professional and sincerely expressed the desire to help me find the right contacts for me. I have always had a hard time finding a pair of contacts that works well in my right eye. She promised to do everything she can until we make it work. After the initial exam she said that I have allergies which is probably the largest cause of my contact discomfort and she prescribed allergy eye drops. No other doctor has said that I have allergies and I am unable to verify it although it does make sense. She had me try multiple types of contacts and finally sent me home with two pair to test over the next couple of weeks. She gave me new peroxide cleaner kits and a sample bottle of the allergy drops. She told me to return with my favorite pair and if that does not work that we will continue the search for the best. Most doctors give up and I appreciate her efforts.After meeting with the doctor one of the assistants worked with me for about 15 minutes looking at frames. I struggled to find comfortable frames and they have a small selection and we only found two pair that were comfortable and they unfortunately had limited color choices. I will probably buy frames somewhere else for reasons of selection.

Staff and Doctor are so friendly. I walk in and Im helped quickly, Im seen quickly, and I never feel rushed during my appointment. All my questions are answered and my vision is perfectly corrected when I leave.

When i went there i was immediately acknowledged. so there was no awkward standing around not know what to do. The doctor was great and answered all my questions at a level I understand. In addition to that I asked him about several things (dry eyes) other than glasses and he was knowledgeable and answered all my questions.I have a very slight prescription, and if the optician isnt very thorough they cant detect it. He was able to figure it out.EDIT. Dont be put off by the appearance of the place. Its in a converted house so from the outside it looks pretty shady. Inside it is very nice and modern.

All of the staff is really nice, patient, and accommodating. I have a difficult schedule and they go out of their way to make sure you get in. Theyre also very informative about lenses, contacts, and insurance coverage. Theyre open late on wednesdays for people with busy or unique schedules and even book out saturdays on occasion.Dr Conklin is also great. He takes the time to explain things and make suggestions and is very down to earth. I have very difficult eyes for contacts (and have even been told that it is impossible at other places) but he was very encouraging and patient with me and helped me figure out a solution that works for me.

Really happy with this doctor and the office staff. Have sent friends here as well and everyone has been pleased.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even offered to fix my broken glasses for free once they saw that I was holding them together with a paper clip (one side was missing a screw). Pricing for my contact eye exam was normal. No complaints.

Dr. Conklin is the best. If you just need glasses you can go about anywhere (WalMart?) but if you are getting your eyes checked then Dr. Conklin is the guys to see. He takes the time and knows his stuff. The staff is nice. Parking is a little of a hassle but no biggie.

Dr Conklin is very knowledgeable and always up to date on the latest fashions in eyewear and trends in contact lens. He has earned my trust. Everytime i come out of this office is see better every time. Always willing to go above and beyond and take his time answering my questions. If your want A+ quality care and precision this is the place!

I came here for the first time needing a new prescription for contact lenses. I was able to fill out all the needed paperwork online from their website, so the processing was short and simple. Everyone was kind and respectful. They went to the trouble of calling up and getting faxes from my somewhat dodgy insurance so they could go over exactly what my vision benefits covered. The doctor was very thorough in explaining everything in simple-to-understand terms (I learned a lot!) and the salesperson gave me a detailed overview of my options without being pushy and helped walk me through the steps to get a free rebate for my lenses. All in all, I would highly recommend them!

I picked up my new - and first ever - pair of glasses today from the crew at Classic Optical. I really appreciate their stance and approach on their profession here, and above all their professionalism.Having had good eyes for most of the 34 years of my life, all I had previously had to deal with at the opticians was to get my regular health check, have them say I was tip-top, and to see them again the next year. However In 2011 I had an instance of Iritis (something I dont recommend to anyone - ouch), and since then my left eye has had a slight stigmatism. Dr. Conklin has attended to my last three eye exams, is very pleasant in his demeanour, and will sit and chat with you about any issues, put your mind at ease if youre worried about failing an eye exam miserably, and will explain all the options or requirements that may help you enjoy your eyes a little more than what god has given you ;)Spending 10 hours + a day on a computer of some kind doesnt help my eyes at all, and this time around I took the opportunity to get some computer glasses that will fast become my firm campion as I ride out the days in front of my beloved electronic products.As I said, these are my first pair of glasses, and I am thankful that Brian and Liz where on hand to help me not only a) find the right lenses for me, but also b) hum, ha, ooh and ah! while I tried on a number of frames. The best part about having some more opinions on the last part is that you try on things you might not usually pick, and I for one am very happy with the not so classic Amy style that I brought home with me.So thanks Classic, and I will continue to come back for my eye health needs as long as you keep up with the amazing service.
