Ordered two new batteries online for my 2015 Silverado 2500HD the price was right the customer service was awful. Mark who Im assuming is the manager seemed to not like his job much or perhaps he was having a bad day but in any case you sound treat your customers with respect. My new batteries were placed on a cart no help at all from anyone in the store, not even opening the door which would of helped immensely.I expect more from Advance and up until yesterday ice always gotten what I expected. Like I said maybe a bad day for Mark. Or it could be I was in a sour mood, I wasnt when I first went into the store. Just went back to turn in my battery chest. Mark was very helpful and friendly. Perhaps we were both having a bad day tested.

I do compare prices when it comes to automotive and this seems to usually come out cheaper than the rest. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable the store is clean and service with a smile. Give them a try its only a phone call and at worse case you go elsewhere.

They never acknowledged my presence, until after I finished my 10 minute search for a banjo bolt... Then I asked about a bolt that was on the floor with no packaging, they said it was a match...I questioned the visual differences I noticed, and they dismissed me. GUESS WHAT? IT WAS THE WRONG BOLT. Cost me$9 with them, a Lyft ride there and back, a days time and a ton of aggravation. Ended up at ORiellys where I got the right bolt for$3.

I do my own oil changes on three trucks and one tractor. The store brand synthetic oil makes it worthwhile, at about half the price of brand name oil, or 1/3 the price of getting the oil changed at a quick change place.

I visited this store on the 6th, and sadly to say this store was added to my list of STORES “NOT” TO VISIT again. So here’s what happened. I went online to order a few parts for my truck the starter is the wrong one and we can’t even get the truck off the ground because the jack I just bought a two ton one could not lift the truck! It was not going up as I cranked away nada, so neighbors come and pros come and we couldn’t get it to work I was told it was defective and not working impossible I just bought it. Maybe I’m missing something because box was taped shut. But nope all accounted for so I said dang guess I’ll go back and get a different one but my neighbor said I have a 4 ton one you can use so I said cool and proceeded to remove tire to get to starter little did I know wrong starter so I thought oh well going to exchange tomorrow get my money back on jack and move on. NOPE not the case PRESTON said manager will not allow returns I said but it don’t work I have no use for it. Said I would have to talk to manager and he wouldn’t do it because he does not allow returns once opened. I said it was opened already all taped up why not just give me the thirty bucks I have to buy starter anyways and that’s triple what I originally paid nope was answer so I took my business elsewhere.. as for this store don’t ask questions cause they don’t know a damn thing and horrible customer service I still want my 30 bucks back I’ll take broken jack back SMH!!

I dont like to do this, but it has to be said. I use OEM parts, so I only by certain things from after hours auto parts stores like this. I went in for a piece of hose for a PCV valve, 1 employee and manager looked it up in the computer, so sir we cant find it. After taking a few deep breaths, I asked the manager to show me where the hose is, he walked me back there and I showed him what hose to cut. Everytime I go in this store there is no one with experience, that goes for all of the other after hours stores also. Come on people! Know one has any pride anymore. Oh and the manager had the gall to have an attitude when ringing me up. Hopefully someone in upper management will take this to heart.

This is something every Auto Parts store struggles with and bothers me but the phone calls are more imoortant than the customer sitting right in from of you ready to spend and get back to working on their car! Other than that a great store and well thought out discount program!
