Customer service was amazing. The wait time from start to finish was a bit much but my daughter says it was worth it for her new phone. We got extras and had lots of questions that were answered. Shayla was a trooper when she finished us up as she was the only in the store so she multi tasked so no customers walked out the door!! Dustin was very knowledgeable on the products and helpful. Overall I am satisfied with the service and products.

Short on staff and a couple really need more traing before they are training others.. caused me alot of stress and took 4 visits to fix my account. Paid 450$ to pay my phone off and get a new one.. they said I could get 800$ for the phone I just paid off days before for trade in.. no scratches like 3mo old phone.. looked at the paper when I got home and received 95$ for it.

It was horrible .I had an upgrade and they told me to come in do they can help me download my contacts from my own phone into the new one .I got there .She did what ?wiped all my contacts .deleted all my photos .put my old phone back to factory settings and said their was nothing else they could do to retrieve all my lost data .Who hires these people 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I was told both by at&t customer service and the store representative that if I upgraded my phones as well as switch to the unlimited plan that my bill would go down. I was mislead because my bill is $40 higher and when I went in to find out why, they couldn’t tell me. I was planning on switching carriers to reduce my bill since my contract was up, but since I was promised my bill would go down I agreed to another 30 month contract.

They were actually able to help me out with the new phone upgrade. I say if you need to order a new phone, Go to the store to do it because the online tech support is annoying and they will give you so many different answers its crazy. The people at AT&T in Newport is amazing and friendly. Dustin was the sales Rep that helped me out and fixed my problem.

I came in switching many phones and asking to many questions but the representative gladly helped me. Throughout the experience he was patient and profesional. Not only trying to sell me phones and move in to the next customer but also making conversation. I live closer to another atnt store but I would return for any other services to the Newport one

Its kind of frustrating when you go into a customer service stand and you realize the person helping you has even less knowledge of what you are talking about than you, but still, tries to come up with some dubious explanation only to tell you in the end ..... he cant help you.

I really wanted to give this experience a 5 star rating, but unfortunately it did not end as I had hoped. Ill start with the positive portion of my experience. I was immediately greeted and helped within 15 minutes even while they were assisting other customers. I upgraded a line on my account. Both associates were pleasant and efficient. I didnt have the associate take the phone out of the box or apply the screen protector, as this phone was for my mom, and I was planning on transferring her content and applying the screen protector. I left the store and was very pleased with my experience. The transfer of my moms phone content went well and we applied her screen protector.( Her 40.00 screen protector) I like to buy local. I know that buying an accessory is where an authorized retailer like this makes the most profit ( like when a theater sells popcorn). The screen protector had a small chip in the bottom. I recommend my mom return it to the store to see if they could replace it. They were firm that they couldnt replace it because they had no proof that we hadnt dropped the phone and broke the screen protector. And whiIe I can see that it could be a possibility...you have a 70 year old woman who hasnt made it a habit of coming in your store and ripping you off, asking for your assistance. The screen protector has a limited lifetime warranty. It would have been nice if the associate would have at least advised my mom of her options and maybe even helped her file a warranty on a product that was purchased less than 24 hours earlier. I phoned the store after hearing that they were unable to help my mom and again explained my situation. I was also told that it wasnt anything that the store could help me with. I filed a warranty with the screen protector company and paid the 9.95 shipping. I also called ATandT and expressed my concerns over the way it had been handled. They were kind enough to reimburse me for the cost of the screen protector. So Im out for the amount of shipping and a bit of my time. I wish they had continued the level of customer service I initially received. Again, I bought local hoping for local small town service. In the end that didnt happen.

We were on vacation and my wife had an issue with her iPhone and customer service wasn’t resolving the issue. We stopped in and Jeremiah was very helpful and knowledgeable, he made a phone call and was able to get us a new phone. The person on the phone didn’t care that we were 1,000 miles away from home, but he did... This type of dedication deserves 10 stars, thanks again!

It might be helpful to employ staff that actually have customer service experience, and are knowledgeable with product and services provided int he store, having a rep guess about how to sign up a promo that AT&T offers does not boosts confidence in where Im handling my business. Also I would suggest instead of shrugging me off every time I come in because I interrupted your phone game time, why dont you actually act like you want to help out your customer service base... I understand theres no gain in it for you to actually be helpful to a long time customer, but thats okay well be shopping around in Corvallis this weekend, thank you for making my decision to switch that much easier.

I would give minus stars if it was possible. They sold me a charging cable with a lifetime warranty 6 months ago. I went in to get a replacement with the warranty and was told they no longer sell that so they cant do anything about it. They also said i should of registered the cable with in 14 days of purchase. They were extremely rude. The manager wouldnt give me a card with his name on it. He said I needed to call a district manager to speak with him about the problem. He also said it was misuse of the charging cable that caused the fraying defects. Im not going to go back to this location anymore. Rude, terrible customer service.

Bad experience I went in to buy a new device to replace a phone I had and wanted to give my old phone to my son. I was sold on a two for one deal that would give me a new phone for my son if I turned in my old phone, The deal seemed all great, I turn in my old phone I was going to give to my son. because I was told he could get this new phone for free. Not adding a new line but an upgrade to his phone, all phones where paid off. It sounded all great until the guy could not order the new phone and told me no problem just call 611 and they would ship it to me..NOT att had never heard of the deal. so I call the guy and he said no problem come in and I will help you get the new phone. All within the 14 day cancel the whole deal process time frame. The gal at the deck was rude told me there would not and never had been a free phone deal without adding a new line. I told her and even showed her the message from the other guy that was helping another customer. She just repeated I am just telling you the fact we have never had any free phone deal I could wait for the other guy to be done.. when he was done he said oh that phone is out of stock and we cant get it. It was only while supplies last. so I asked for my old phone back and it was a flat NO we shipped it off cant get it back. So miss information, deals that are not real, cant return things in the 14 days, once you turn in your phone they sell it. RUDE misinformation and now I have no phone for my son to replace his and they will do nothing.

The store is pushing primarily only Apple, or LG and Samsung high end cellphones. The sales rep became unresponsive about bundled home deals, and questions about keeping my own phone. I walked away suspecting that At&t online is a better route for buying package deals. Nevertheless our one time customer service experience at this store location was dismally uninformative and borderline dismissive.

Not enough good deals...for some it may be the perfect solution but for me they are over priced and have no knowledge of their products without Google assistance. Plus there were two people working and one did all the work while the other stood around biting their finger nails and cutting dirty looks at the customers.

Don’t go!!! Not a real att store! Terrible customer service. Was my fourth time there just trying to get nano SIM cards. They sold me the wrong ones, couldn’t return them till a manager was there then couldn’t sell me the correct ones. Nightmare. Rude staff.

They are very helpful as my 1st phone like this and been very good at answering my questions and not laughing at me or rolling their eyes. They try to get to you for service as quick as they can. Keely helped me so much! The service was fast and thorough. She took off apps I did not need that were going to cause me more trouble and help me get my keyboard back on my phone, it was in pretty bad shape and I just got it. I mean not physically just not working correctly. It was so so nice to have this kind of help. Went in to transfer my prepaid line to post paid, was told repeatedly that it simply wasnt possible. So I went with a new line and phone number (meaning changing my number attached to every online account). I spoke to another employee later and found out that is IS possible, but in my situation they would have made me wait to finance a phone.So from my end it appears that the sales associate I worked with told me it wasnt possible just to get a sale that day.

Come here all the time, able to get my phone paid for, quick and easy. Passwords or syncing not required, thats makes it simpler to go to the store physically to make payments. Rarely, sometimes theres rude employees but it doesnt reduce my opinion terribly.

Stopped by to see if they could help me switch carriers with old and cheap phones, they assured me they could. Came in the next day and Michael was either showing off or he truly is a rockstar while he simultaneously helped three different customers with three completely different issues. He single-handedly won over a lifelong Verizon family to At&t by himself in less than 20 minutes.

I always likened buying a new phone to going to the car dealer. Dread! But it wasnt that way at all. Even accidently setting off the phone alarm in the store trying to look at a new Iphone. Keely helped us buy two new phones, no fuss, no confusion and no stress

After the great first visit, the service and the product, not to mention the billing, rapidly changed. We were told that both tablets, purchased on a promo, would be free after 3 months. Nope. We continue to pay data charges for both promo tablets well after we sold them, and after a concerned call to customer service. Customer service did grant us a credit due to the misunderstanding, but I feel that the salesmen mislead us in order to sign a 2 year contract. Those same salesmen had to order 2 of our phones from another location and that experience was negative. Finally, AT&T was promoted as most reliable coverage on the Oregon Coast. Nope. Texts not sending or received, calls fading in and out. Pathetic. Currently trying to get out of our contract to go to Straight Talk.*Google, by deleting or altering this review, you agree to pay me $212 and 4 Straight Talk phones of my choosing.

I work at Walmart in electronics for Osl we sell cell phones on att and Verizon I have a good relationship with both Verizon stores in Newport and Lc but every time I send customers to att store for any reason they come back with tons of complaints I wish there was a person I could have a sit down with to make our relationship more conducive to both of us helping the customers there are things I can’t sell on plans like watches and tablets and I can’t honestly send my customers to a store if I don’t trust they will be treated as well as I would treat them overall the store usually gets things done but I still get very negative reviews every single time

I bought a phone here for a Christmas gift on the 24th and came in on the 27th to exchange the phone, which was still sealed in the box, for something else and was charged a $45.00 restocking fee. The phone was still factory sealed and was an exchange for a newer phone.. And then I returned home 20 minutes away and after 8:00 PM to learn the phone line for the new purchase has been suspended and can only be reactivated by calling ATT in the morning. Unfortunately I am certain I would not get a refund of the $45.00 restock fee I paid if I requested even though they suspended my phone line. So disappointed

Michael is the best customer service person I have ever worked with at AT&T. His calm demeanor, humor and knowledge takes all the stress out of having a phone problem. I would give him 10 stars if I could, because by the time I come to ask for help, I am using pretty frustrated, he just smiles, tells me to breathe and fixes the problem AND finds ways to save me money on my bill. I couldnt pay my bills over the phone, I couldnt even clock in at work with my replacement phone I got from AT&T because the touch screen didnt work properly!! Two lovley ladys helpt me get my warranty phones and were very friendly with awesome customer service. But do not talk to Mike!! He doesnt care if your phone doesnt work. I tried three times two show Mike that my phone didnt work with paying my gas bill! Not only did Mike have his back towards me when I was showing him my phone didnt work he tried out of anger two grab my phone out of my hands!.. So because I was in a hurry too pick up my daughter from school Mike wouldnt even let me use there land line to pay my gas bill as a loyal customer!! And AT&T told me to bring back the phone if it wasnt working. So then I called customer service and they sent me a replacement phone and this is the third Replacement phone now. Mike is not a people person and does not like his job!! So talk to anyone else but MIke! If you have to deal with Mike run!! Cause you will not get the customer service that you duserve as a loyal AT&T customer.😤😡🤬

Weve used this ATT store for several years and have been very happy with the service. Were lucky to have them here on the Coast of Oregon. Its not these guys fault that ATT messes so many things up and is such an incredibly frustrating and annoying company to deal with. Youll have these same problems with ATT no matter where you are.

Replacment sim cards are never to cost,,they charge 10 bucks,,,,,,,,,, when calling them and they keep saying they cant hear you and keep talking to other people while supose to be talking with you because they say a bad connection but with speaker phone off it is better, iam at home alone--no noise,,,,there soun ds like the hall ways in grade school when all 5 grades are are cut loose, and it is my fault for the communication problem and then they are still talking with other people while they ask you how they can help and your telling them but they ask again because they were talking with others and i was telling them and well if you have ever experienced this,,, you know what i mean,,other wise this little bit iam typing means nothing, like my conversation with newports att.

On vacation & this was the closest store to me, 35 minute drive. Waited for 45 + minutes, watched 4 people walk out because wait was so long, helped another couple that came in after me (I blew that off because they were seniors), then told me she couldnt help me w/my phones issue of being dead. Probably a battery, but we dont carry those. Not impressed at all.
