My sales woman Cyndi was awesome to work with. I purchased my car remotely as I am in Tulsa, and the staff was very easy to work with. They were more than accommodating and most importantly they were very transparent. I loved my experience with Genesis of Norman.

I had previously purchased a Genesis and loved the comfort and ease of operating the vehicle. I recently purchased a G80 and I’m so impressed with the safety and electronic updates. I prefer driving my Genesis as compared to my husband’s BMW.

Billy is the man!I had been researching Genesis for months and thought I knew just about everything about them, but when Billy showed me the G80 I ended up buying, he showed me every nook and cranny of the car, and explained the features in great detail so that I fully understood everything! Amazing experience, I’ll be buying Genesis from now on!

The CEO NEVER contacted me. It only gets worse, I got an email from Anthony M. he gave me a phone number to contact him no on ever answered and there was no voice mail. I sent him several emails but never got an answer. I tried to take my car to another Genesis dealership that is closer to my house to get my free 3 year oil change. I was told my car was listed as a USED car therefore my warranty was limited. I paid almost 50K for this NEW car less than 30 miles on it when I test drove it. I was promised the moon when I bought the car and didnt get any of the benefits I was promised and they put my car as USED not new. PLEASE MAKE sure you look at all the documents before signing they said I was buying a new car and marked the documents as used. I thought buying a car with less than 30 miles would always be considered new. I bought a car from a dealership in text with 600 miles on it an it was considered new. How can you get buy a car from a dealership fresh off the lost with 30 miles and no other own and it be USED????? I was USED by this dealership and everything that came out of my salesman mouth was a LIE. STAY far away from this dealership unless you want a lot of HEART ache. I have a 50K USE car that I used to love now I HATE the car and wish I never bought it. I have a limited warranty and have to travel over 100 miles to get my free oil change and any warranty service. Shame on you Genesis Of Norman you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!

I have NEVER been contacted by ANYONE AT THE Dealership about this issue. I have tried contacting the dealership several time, no one ever returns my calls or emails. I was PROMISED By BILLY G. the car would have FREE oil changes the first 3 YEAR of ownership at ANY Genesis dealership, I was ALSO PROMISED they would drive to Marietta pick up my car leave me a loaner, take my car to normal to provide ANY services needed including oil change. When it was time for my first oil change the story changed they would NOT pick up my car and I CANNOT go to any other dealership to get my oil changed. They sold me a NEW car as USED, it just arrived on the truck that day yet it was put on the paperwork in SMALL letters USED. SHAME ON YOU STAY FAR AWAY from this dealership if you buy a car there get ALL PROMISES in writing and LOOK AT THE PAPERWORK with a magnify glass. Bill and Anthony promised me the world with this VERY expensive car but what I got was broken promises and heart ache!!! I save for year to buy me my dream car and got screwed. Anyone want to buy a new used car?????? Selling it cheap to get out from being screwed over my GENESIS of NORMAN. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

When I bought the car I was told any services that need to be done they would come pick up my car which is 100 miles from the dealership leave me a liner car take my car back get it fixed and bring it back to me. Including oil changes which I asked twice and they stated yes even oil changes. Its time for my first oil change and I was told I need to bring my car up there to get the oil change done they will not provide me a loaner car and take my car back and forth. This was a selling point since I work full time I work for my own business I take care of a disabled son and my elderly mother so I do not have time to travel 100 miles one way to get my oil changed Genesis offers free oil change. I called another dealership which is closer they cannot find me in the system therefore I can go to the dealership where I bought it to get the free oil change. I have asked to have my car added to the Gensisi free oil change nsystem so I can go to any Genesis dealer to get my oil changed Im hoping for a positive response. NO word from the CEO

My husband & I purchased a new car from Genesis of Norman AKA Automax on 12/07/2020. It was the absolute worst experience we have had to date, and we have purchased many new and used vehicles.We traded in our 2017 truck. They didnt pay it off until 01/23/2021. We were on the verge of making our second payment since trading it in.They use high pressure sales tactics for extended warranty. We were told it would add about $20 to the monthly payment. It added $45. Also, deceptive by saying how fast our 36k miles would go. The car we purchased came with a 60k warranty. Too bad we didnt remember this at that time. We were told we could cancel it for a full refund, which my husband did a few days later. As of 02/18/2021, the bank nor my husband have received a refund and Sergio will not respond. Now we must jump through hoops to get refunded for an add on that we didnt even want.They inflated my husbands income and wanted him to sign off on it. When pointed out, Sergio said they probably did it for approval reasons. My husband refused, until it was corrected.They promised a lower interest rate and said the rate was approved while we were waiting to sign. Once back in office, they upped it 1.04%.Our salesman Rick was knowledgeable about their vehicles, but admitted that they use bait and switch tactics. We had an issue where he became very rude. We were heading for the door to leave when Anthony stopped us. He said he really wanted to earn our business and promised the valet service to our home, which is about 2 hours away and to beat our banks interest rate and give us the amount we asked for on our trade-in. The valet service to our home was a huge selling point for us. Unfortunately, we dont plan on using it with this dealership, because we do not trust them after our experience with them.We tried having TT&L rolled in, but we were quickly met with opposition from Sergio as to why we shouldnt. We would have much rather had the $2179 (TT&L) included, then $2999 for the extended warranty.We asked for our copies of the contract. We were told they dont give those out, the bank will send them. We still havent received them.I really hope this helps save others from having a horrible experience like ours. There really needs to be a cooling off period to protect consumers.
