Super easy process! Got my dream car and everything blew me away! Will definitely be back to buy my next GTI!
I brought my car in to have the oil change on Saturday despite my previous experience at this location where they left my oil cap off, causing the oil to splash up all under my hood and causing my car to smoke. After I left this location Saturday I just went straight home (45min away). On Sunday I made a trip to Tulsa and upon coming home, I noticed my car was smoking. My mind went straight to oh great did they leave the cap off AGAIN? Yup. Open the hood, cap is positioned snugly next to the oil opening and oil is splashed yet again.I waited until Tuesday to call due to it being 10:30pm on a Sunday and Monday being Labor Day. I called and pressed the service department and ended up on the service managers (Renees) voicemail. I left her a voicemail explaining my situation and requesting a refund as this is the second occurrence (I didnt ask nor receive a refund for the first incident).I did not receive a call back from Renee and called back on Wednesday. She assured me that there was no way possible this could have happened to me because she has in my notes that only a certified tech can work on my car due to this happening once before. I reassured her I have no interest in removing my oil cap to make my car splash oil everywhere... poor call and poor customer service. During this call, Renee never once apologized for my experience or offer reassurance that she would work towards a resolution. I had to tell her to review her camera footage to prove to her they in fact did not put the cap back on. She said she would review the footage Thursday AM and call me back in the afternoon. I advised if no contact was made by 2pm Thursday that I would reach out because she wouldnt give me her direct line or extension.I called back today at 3pm and was transferred all over because I kept being sent to her voicemail. Imagine that. I finally got a hold of an individual here who was extremely understanding and he advised the GM, Chas would reach out to me. While waiting for Chas to reach out, Renee calls me and advised she is unable to see it on her camera footage due to not being able to zoom in but if she had enough staff in the morning (Friday), she would come to my location to inspect the vehicle. After my call with Renee, Chas called me and assured me him and Renee both reviewed the footage and due to the height of the cameras, they were unable to conclude whether or not the tech put the cap back on but that after review of the vehicle in person they could replace the oil and refund me if they deemed it to be splashed under the hood as I mentioned.Due to not wanting to be without my vehicle tomorrow, I drove up here tonight to have them take care of it. I arrived at 5:15pm and Chas came to look at the vehicle. He told the service rep to have the oil replaced, the splash cleaned up, and to refund my money. An hour later I was told the car was ready. I hopped in and drove off. I then pull into a parking lot and open the hood to see the oil splash is still all over the engine?!?!As I am typing this, the service rep is cleaning the oil out because the tech who replaced the oil failed to do this.Lack of care for the customer or their frustrations, extremely hard to stay in touch with, and does not pay attention to details.Adding this location to the list of locations to not return to.Thank you Fowler Volkswagen, I wish I could say it has been a great experience.
Well, my story is a good one. And, I really appreciate the understanding and follow-through of the staff at Fowler VW. I was helped by Lindsey and her Warranty Clerk co-worker. They went above and beyond to get a $900 service waived by warranty. We bought our 2018 VW Atlas and love it. She is spacious and rides smoothly. The situation was, we came into some extra money we did not expect to get. So we decided to pay off some debt. One of those debts was the Atlas. After paying it off, I got a concerning dashboard warning of Transmission in Emergency Mode. And, this was right after our warranty expired, which was a few thousand miles over. I had them perform a diagnostic and they found a problem with the transmission gear shifter. This is a $900 service that is usually covered under warranty.Thank you, Lindsey and Miss. Warranty Clerk! I am sorry I did not remember your name. God will surely bless you two! And, thank you to the VW higher-ups for being understanding of our particular situation and willing to honor customer service and loyalty!
I brought my vehicle in over a year ago reporting an odd noise in the front drivers side suspension. Technicians have been unable to duplicate or identify the issue after numerous attempts. I was given my car back with no resolution or option for resolution. Additionally, several months ago (I cannot remember exactly when it began but may date back to 2020) my vehicle began having what appeared to be issues with the battery. My horn sounded off, the lights werent working normally and my key fobs have since died several times. I know I have had to replace the battery in one at least 4 times. Again, I brought the car in to be looked at at your dealership numerous times, one time leaving it there for over a week so they could continue to investigate the issues. With no resolution. The service rep Sam replaced the key fob batteries twice. Which helped the issue for 2 days. He advised me that if it occurred again (because once again they couldnt actually duplicate the issue which is astonishing to me as it occurs EVERY SINGLE TIME I get in and out of my car) to notify him immediately and he would escalate the issue higher up with VW to try and come up with a solution. I did this and voiced my complaints of having to yet again be without a vehicle and no loaners available. So I was put on a waitlist for a loaner in July and have been waiting since. The battery issue worsened to the point that neither key fob worked and I couldnt start my car (it would start sometimes, others it would not) so had to have it towed in. It was be there now 9 days and my experience this time around has by far been the worst yet.
Best car buying experience you could ask for. Sam was super patient with me while I was deciding on a car.
We had the best experience with D’Angelo and the entire Fowler team. He made the buying process easy and I felt like we got a great deal. Would definitely recommend to my family and friends!
While my car was under their care and control it was severally damaged. I let them know I would be working with the insurance company.I made an appointment with them to have the wheels that were on the vehicle swapped for the originals. But, when I arrived at the dealership they could not find my car. After calling my insurance company, it became clear the dealership had had my car towed, despite the fact I had an appointment. They blamed this on a new employee, but if they can not train people to make an appointment, do you trust them to train their employees to service your transmission or your brakes?Did they give me the name of the tow company? No. I had to find that on my own.Did they tell me where the lot was located? No. I had to find that on my own.Of course, being a Saturday the lot was closed and eventual I had to pay a $450 ransom to get my car that they moved without my permission. Had they made a 30 second phone call or sent an email I gladly would have moved the car. They couldnt be bothered with that simple courtesy. On top of that the tow company damaged my front dumper. In the end they cost me somewhere between $1,000 and $2,500. I would avoid every Fowler dealership.
Kyle in the parts department rocks! Definitely a team player and helps out fellow auto specialists to the best of his ability. His customer service was definitely appreciated today! -Autumn
It’s always a pleasure working with Fowler VW! Sales or Service. We’ve bought/traded in quite a few in the last few years, that we are pretty much on a first name basis with every one.
Dalton was a great salesman he gave us details on the vehicle and had a great personality. The finance managers along GM kept in contact with us and always were polite. Honestly this is best experience we have had with a car dealership in years!!!!
I am only leaving 3 stars because the friendliness of the staff is there. Although they take their sweet time. I spent nearly 5 hours at this establishment waiting for an oil change. Although I did have them look at a few small things while my vehicle was there, it wasn’t sent to the technician to do those repairs until I had already been there for 3-3 1/2 hours. I had an appointment at 8 AM, that I arrived on time to. I am beyond grateful I had nothing else going on that day. I will use a different VW next time.
It’s rare these days to have an experience that exceeds your expectations. You can almost count on being treated rudely and not appreciated, even when you are the one paying for a product or service.I sent my 16 year old daughter to this dealership to have the coolant checked in her VW Tiguan. I called ahead and spoke with a very nice lady on the phone in the service dept. and let her know that my daughter would be stopping by later in the day to have this checked. I would normally do this but I was too busy at the moment and this needed attention. My daughter came home and not only did they add coolant but they washed her car. I asked her what they charged and she said nothing. I bet she wasn’t even there 30 minutes. Now that is a place I will do business with in the future. Thank you and great job!
Scheduled an oil change. Ended up being there over 3 hours. The website stated that there would be a shuttle available when I scheduled the appointment. I asked about the shuttle and found out it only runs on weekdays.I expected the service to be faster considering it was a scheduled appointment.
I can into Fowler very skeptical since I’ve had a terrible car buying experience but let me tell you this was hands down the best experience ever! Go see Kaitlyn. Not only was there no pressure they worked with my current car lease and did everything for me. It truly was no hassle! I’ll be a Fowler customer for life!
Had a great experience buying a new car from these great people, Nick Chapman was helpful from the very start with locating the right vehicle that met our needs. Chaz the GM was extremely flexible with pricing and getting us into a loaner car while they located the right vehicle. Negotiations were fair, and they were even almost nonexistent. Not once did I have to haggle and work the price of a new car with these guys, they made us a great offer on a brand new Atlas as soon as we reached out. Alexis from sales and Chris from finance were extremely helpful helping us finalize the sale once they found the right car for us. I would highly recommend buying from these awesome people.
It was definitely a busy Saturday, but there is always a comfortable place to wait and everyone is kind.
Mr. Hedrick made buying easy and the finance team was fast and thorough. Limited stock but customer service was excellent!
Came here to replace a flat tire, and I was welcomed by Will. He exceeded my expectations for sure. He greeted me and asked what needed to be done and before agreeing into buying the new tires he instead suggested for us to look at the prices and availability before reaching a deal. Will is a great man, unfortunately it was his last day at Fowler VW of Norman. I am sure my car is in great hands, Sam also made sure that I received my car in the best state possible. This place definitely did a great job on serving my needs. 10/10 would recommend .
My experience at this dealership was outstanding! My salesman Mr. Johnson was that he was very personable and I felt completely comfortable and knowledgeable. There was no smoke and mirrors happening here. Also with me having 0 credit the finance officer worked well with me obtaining financing to my satisfaction. Highly recommend buying from this great dealership!
Cam did an awesome job taking care of us. We visited another Fowler location and noticed they had a Volkswagen Atlas but nobody was there to assist us. We then decided to go to Fowler Volkswagen to test drive an Atlas and see if that was the vehicle we wanted.Upon arrival Cam greeted us and gave us the break down of all the Atlas models. We test drove one and fell in love. We shared with Cam that we did not have a good experience at Fowler Toyota and that I really liked the Atlas I saw there. After we left Cam went above an beyond to get that car transferred over to their lot so we can take a look. All in a couple of hours we went back to inspect the car and did an initial test drive. We got to take home the car of our dreams.I’ve never had a bad experience at Fowler except for recently at Fowler Toyota. Glad Cam saved the day. Also thanks to Chris for helping us with finance, really enjoyed working with him.
Had a tire problem. Fowler’s service dept. got a new one quickly. The cost was reasonable, the people are friendly and respectful. I recommend Fowler VW.
I worked with two great people! Nick the sales guy who spent all day answering all my questions through emails. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car I chose as well as another one I looked at while there. Then the Financial guy was great Schyler I believe was his name( might have spelled his name wrong..sorry). Both were super friendly and welcoming! Thank you so much for this awesome experience!
VW workInjectors / first timeInjectors “she” claimed that the new one was bad /second timeInjection pumpEGR gasketECUWiring harness / third timeAll with the shaking and rattle in the area of the flywheelWe have only had possession of our car 2 of the 7 weeks and the car has not been diagnosed correctly. So my loyalty to your shop is waning. “She” said “she” couldn’t provide my wife a vehicle before our car would be out of the shop. I’m afraid my patience is not going your direction. My wife and I looked on the BBB we’d site to see we aren’t the only customers with this problem. I’m guess we need the regional manager to look into the problem.Well we took our car to Tulsa to get it correctly diagnosed and repaired. They only had the car a couple of days. Fowler is a waste of time. The manager Chas only makes excuses. Renee lies to you and is rude. This was the worst experience we have ever had at any dealership. A restructuring is needed.
Worse than your worst dreams. They left my car out in a hailstorm and refuse to take any responsibility for it. Absolute jokers, they always try to spin everything to be the customers fault. They failed to fix my headlight 3 times, and then when I bothered to get mad, they called me to an office and treated me like a schoolboy who was in time out. The worst service of anywhere, ever.
Kaitlynn was a wonderful saleswoman! Everything was perfect until one of the tires on my brand new car that is very expensive was given to me with a leak in it. It was fixed after ! two ! trips back to the dealership because they did not fix it correctly the first time. I do appreciate the service to get it fixed, however I don’t think that should have been an issue in the first place. Overall good salesmanship, poor service workers.
By far the most disorganized service provider I have ever had with awful customer service. I bought CPO Atlas last November, but I have taken it in for rattling issues(4 times) and non functional start/stop system since February. I was given dates to bring vehicle in, but no one was ever assigned to diagnose it. I did a test drive with a mechanic and they identified the issue, but never scheduled the repair date. Ive called and left several messages to the service manager with no response. Last time I took the vehicle in, it stayed for 3 days and nothing was done on it. The previous time 10 days and the AC blower was fixed but they didnt properly reattach the middle console and left a bunch of bolts/screws out. They had no problems taking my money, but now they cant schedule me for a service date.. Its been 2 months. My car still has the rattling issues/start top issues and Im waiting for a callback..
Sam was very helpful and made sure I was kept in the loop every step of the way. Excellent service.
Great customer service. Sam was a top notch salesperson.
I initially left a bad review because I was not happy with the service. After I complained, they communicated with me to make the situation satisfactory. Chas even took steps to go above what was needed. Sorry we had this tiff; I will be a faithful customer in the future.
Great customer service and above and beyond attitudes. They were slammed busy and still going out of their way too help in every way possible. Not just for me, but with all other customers I saw.
Everytime I take my car to the service center, they ALWAYS exceed my expectations. Even if a mistake is made, they will go above and beyond to make it right. They keep the customer informed every step of the repair thats being made, always very polite and friendly, is just the very best place to take your Volkswagen for any and all service needs.
My husband and I purchased a car on 6/19/2021 from Fowler it was a brand new vehicle Tiguan. Our experience at first was great.. service was good and they got us in a new car. Well it is August 12 and I still haven’t received a title they kept telling us the lender has it and they are waiting on the lender… we spoke with the lender today and they say no Fowler has it well Fowler low and behold just called us and told us that they just mailed it today….so we will see…. mind you I’ve been driving on a expired tag been pulled over twice due to the tag being out on my way to work and I feel like they have gave me the run around I understand things take time but don’t blame the lender when you have the title….tell me you have it! I understand the lender also took a little longer than they should have as well but this is not my problem I should not have had to wait two months.. if this is a common issue Fowler don’t use that lender! So we told Fowler we think since we went through this they should pay the tag title and tax which they are not willing to do I’m very frustrated with them and I do not recommend anyone else go through this dealer
We lost our keys to our Jetta Sam in the parts department was able to quickly get a new set of keys, We had the car towed in to the service department and Hayden and his crew had us up and running in no time we would recommend Fowler VW to anyone needing service or anything for their car
Thank you for your service, great staff . Very helpful!
These guys are awesome!!! I wanted a specific model, trim, and interior color that apparently no one else wanted because no one had it. Kevin kept looking and found one all the way in north Colorado. It took them a few weeks to get it to Oklahoma but they made it happen. Chris got me in out of the dealership in an hour. That includes looking at the car, financing, and working with Nick (salesman) to learn how operate things in the vehicle. I usually hate going through the financing process at dealerships. It takes all the fun out of getting a new car. I had none of that with Chris. We laughed and talked it was nice. I didn’t feel pressured into anything. Thank you guys!!! I love my new car and I would buy for you all again!!!
Cam was our salesperson last week for our car purchase. He could not have been nicer. Cam made us feel very comfortable, he was very calm & answered every question we had about the car(s). Everyone wore masks inside and outside. That made us feel safe during this time as buying a car takes several hours. Cam made sure the car was cleaned and had a full tank of gas before we left the dealership. He even called me after I left to make sure I knew where the 2nd set of keys was. If you are looking for a new car here--find Cam!!! :)
My oil change mechanic was sloppy. Oil was dribbled everywhere. Oil was on the plastic piece spanning the bottom of my windshield. A few drops were on my windshield at the bottom. This comes from laziness. They also checked the alignment of my car. They gave me the sheets, but neglected to explain the results. I think I need an alignment, but who really knows. This was my 30,000 oil change. No car wash either.I will not return for service here
Everyone who we interacted with was great! Whether it was Dakota, our salesman, or Chris in financing, everyone was courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of our wants and needs. Second car bought through the Fowler family and we left happy once again. Thanks again guys!!! Love the Atlas
Just wanted to say that the people at Fowler Volkswagen were awesome! From my sales man David The new car sales manager and the Finance manager Bryan Townsend..everyone at Fowler Volkswagen Treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. No pressure to buy anything..great prices on cars and great people who care about you as a forever customer like family! If youre in market for a car soon Id recommend you go out and visit them..youre gonna be glad you did. Thank you to the entire Fowler Volkswagen team for a great time buying my new car!
My experience (aside from the purchase of my car) have been terrible.I took my car in for the same problem 3x, first tjme it was a “glitch,” second time they basically told me I was lying, third time same problem plus the engine light and my car was not running smooth at all and they finally take my car to fix it but put me through hell to get a rental. “We’ll you can drive your car but It will probably get worse and I can’t tell you the permanent damage.” They tried to charge me 2 grand, until i told them i had warranty so i asked for a legit bill, they said there is none only to have to pay when i get my car back for a diagnostics test on something i didn’t even bring the car in for!!!I also brought my car in for a mirror (my fault) i waited a week and a half for the part when it came in i made an appointment. They had my car 12 hours & when i went to go pick it up, they first couldn’t find it. THEN when they did find it, it wasn’t touched. Only for him to give me $25 off the paint job for a $800 fix. The service department is TERRIBLE. The GM was quite rude and no help and I will never be back NOR recommend anyone to Fowler VW, Norman.ZERO STARS.
We had the best experience buying our new car! Every person we came in contact with was so friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy in any way! We never once felt pressured to buy anything. Each person from Sales to finance and other departments explained everything we needed to know and made the entire process very enjoyable! Highly recommend using Fowler VW for your next car shopping experience!!
I bought a used Mazda there with some bumper damage and was told it would be fixed. Brought the car back twice, the first time they said they couldn’t buff it out (but did buff the rest of the car as agreed prior to purchasing) so they’ll have to order a new bumper to replace. Waited a few weeks, didn’t hear anything back so I called to get an update, the service manager said he never got such words back from whoever looked at the car. The manager of the service department asked me to bring it back in, which I did, they informed me he was not there but that they could look into it. I called the dealership a week later to get it looked into and he still doesn’t know what’s going on and wanted me to bring it back in. After some deliberation they cut me a small check for $150 to get it fixed myself because I was not going to waste more time taking it back and forth since I live 40 minutes away. Definitely was not enough money to fix the bumper but overall a big waste of my time and energy to try to get something completed right as promised by the dealership.
I got my first ever oil change at a dealership here. (My husband usually does them but with VW he needed a special tool and we don’t have it.) Typically with young women, dealerships and mechanic shops can be pushy and make you feel obligated to do everything that they have quoted you for, but they didn’t do that to me. Will was very helpful and receptive to what I wanted to do, and didn’t make me feel obligated to do everything all at once. I will definitely be coming back for all my service needs!
My husband tried to order me new VW rims for my birthday. In the two months leading up to it, he contacted Parts on 3 different occasions and was told hed be called back each time. Those calls never came and then at the last minute, he was told they couldnt even get the rims. He was left with no time to change gears with my birthday approaching. After finding out all of this, I made one call to OKC VW and was told they could have them in in less than two weeks.Today I had my 20,000 service for oil change, tires etc. It is covered by a 3rd party service plan sold to me by a VW dealer when I purchased new. This is my second time using it at Fowler. Not only is the service department clueless on how to use the service agreement (despite notes from a previous advisor), I was charged $15 in shop fees on the invoice because those are apparently added on to every order. I was not previously charged these fees for my 10K service or the complimentary service on my VW Passat, but the service department assured me that everyone is charged the fees even in the case of Factory Warranty Maintenance. Seems like a money grab to me when my covered service should have been $0. Contract even says reasonable parts and labor associated so even Fowler acknowledges the shop fees are not reasonable. Time to take my business elsewhere.
I leave two stars, because Meg in service seems to be the only one interested in providing any. I called in a dozen and a half times. I needed a radio code for my vehicle. Very simple. I understand for theft and liability purposes I would have to physically bring my vehicle and the radio in question, I get that, I never said I wouldn’t do that and I never asked anyone to break any rules. I was told it would be $79.99 by somebody, then I called a dozen or so times, hung up on or redirected back to the main menu most of them. I FINALLY after talking to the same very helpful meg 4 times, got the service manager Renee to pick up her phone. She told me that the price for less than 15 mins of actual work, they were planning to charge $49.99 for the work, and that $79.99 was a lie. I went on to mention that in the VEHICLE’S OWNER MANUAL, FROM VOLKSWAGEN THEMSELVES, says the task to provide me with the code is actually free. The Renee woman from service said that “Volkswagen doesn’t set prices for a dealer”. Nobody is saying Volkswagen does or should dictate pricing to their dealers, but they do say the service is free, so if they were aware dealers were charging money for something Volkswagen originally intended to be free of charge, I don’t think they’d appreciate that Fowler was charging customers for an otherwise free service provided by VW. If this is how Fowler intends to attract or retain customers, I have no idea how they have the rating they do, unless they’re soliciting reviews from customers in exchange for favors or are enticing employees to solicit their family and friends, which is clearly prohibited by VW. This is my first ever experience with the dealership, and as a first impression, I am NOT pleased. I think the personnel is not all on board with providing excellent customer service for the brand, and that’s a shame. I guess they feel like customers can “take it or leave it”, even though there are two other dealers in OKC and another in Tulsa. Plain unacceptable, and if I get a response about “we don’t know what happened, our employees don’t act this way, you can reach out to us at xyz email, we’d be happy to talk to you” then I’m calling VW corporate. I doubt the GM or Service Director are aware or if they are, don’t care about individual customers. We live in a sad time.***UPDATEI got EXACTLY the cut-and-paste, cookie-cutter, here is an email address, you can “reach out” to us BS reply I expected. I’ll be contacting VW NA, this lax CS approach by businesses nowadays has got to stop. I’m supposed to reach out to “Dusty” or “Chaz”? What is this, a frat house?? I’ll try and take my VWs anywhere else than this place. NOT the way to conduct business, not even close.
Great people! The people at Fowler VW were all so welcoming and kind during my experience. It didn’t feel like the typical car dealership experience that is riddled with the need to be non-trusting of questionable sales people. I had the privilege of working with salesperson Dalton. He was so calm, informative, kind and willing to answer all of my questions. He honored my time when I would come in to shop and told me the truth always! The dealership manager, Chas, was so understanding and accommodating. He personally made sure things ran smoothly with my personal credit union. My finance officer, Schylar, was also really nice and efficient. I really love the car I chose and I’m confident in my purchase. I also feel really good about having continued contact with Fowler VW for any future needs/services. I highly recommend anyone to shop Fowler VW!
I can not STRESS how many bad experiences Ive had over the years with Fowler VW. Ive purchased 4 cars from them (I dont know why) and they have made me hate them so much I refuse to ever go back. They will bend over backwards to sell you a car then when it comes to service, good luck. Always double check all work they do! And check your oil before you leave after an oil change! And check the level that days and the ongoing days. Check EVERYTHING! Get new tires? CHECK THEM FOR THE DATES! THEY WILL SELL YOU BRAND NEW 3 YEAR OLD TIRES.CHECK EVERYTHING!!!!
Everything went absolutely great and they seemed to be very thorough. Deducted 1 star as appt was at 700 I waited till 1130 in the dealership and was not notified my car was done. Had to walk over point it out and ask what was next. Other than that people were very helpful and extremely friendly even when talking about experiences at other shops. 40,000 mile check-up went well!
I always have great service from the service reps. I have noticed my vw is always in need of a coolant flush. Watch this when you take your vehicle. I have been told I need a coolant flush 3 times in the last 2 years. The fact is it was done a year ago. Humm
This was the worst experience I have had at Fowler VW.My wife scheduled an appointment for March 13 at 8:00 AM. I show up at 7:50 and they were not open. I wait until 8:00 and they open up.They can’t find my appointment for oil change. They get me in and an hour later they text me saying I need new rear brakes including rotors. They quote price of 182.00. I click to authorize and wait another hour and a half. I walked to service to find car has been ready for some time. Service tech tries to bill me more than 400.00 for brakes. The Service Manager walks up to shake hands, I declined. After him researching, he finally adjusts bill and proceeds to tell me what a great deal I got.We have bought 3 cars from Fowler, but no more.I will have all service work done somewhere else in the future. This place has really gone downhill.
Visiting Fowler VW for my routine maintenance is almost relaxing. I look forward to sitting there, enjoying the atmosphere and friendly staff, and I always walk away knowing my car was given the best care. This is a quality dealership.
*Update* So first off its probably good to take a minute and ask yourself what is the best approach. I probably should have called the service manager before posting, because somethings can be resolved in a positive manner. That being said spoke to the right person and situation was fixed. Things happen and and its how you approach the situation.
I would/am recommending Fowler Volkswagen of Norman without any hesitation, to anyone shopping for a car. These folks (from salesman, new car manager and right up to the General Manager) intend to offer the best car-shopping experience available to you in the car dealership industry!I love my Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport!!
Very bad experience. Their people are poorly trained. There is bad communication within the company. On top of all that they damaged my car. Take your business else.
My wife waited nearly four hours the other day for an oil change on her day off! An oil change/tire rotation should take an hour tops. Nobody kept her informed on the progress of the vehicle or updated her on the estimated time remaining. My wife asked the woman at the front desk twice what the issue was? The woman seemed more interested in what was going on with her phone than customer service. Finally after nearly four hours of waiting patiently, it was time for the payment. My wife asked if a discount would be applied for the wait time or if she could receive a coupon for a future service? The guy replied with, “I can do 10% off.” Hahaha 10%, what a slap in the face! Needless to say, we will never bring our vehicle here again. If you value your TIME and customer service, take your vehicle elsewhere!
If you’re looking for no nonsense, no game playing with great prices and excellent selection of vehicles in Oklahoma, Fowler VW is the place to go.Was extremely reluctant to purchase a brand we have not purchased in the past, but the no pressure sales and friendly staff combined with the great SUV and excellent warranty made it a far more simple decision to buy from them. Thanks!RubysK9Corral
This is my first time of buying VW and trust me, I loved their reception, curtesy and patience with me. Of course I had a lot of questions, but from their manager to the sales representative, everyone had the time and patience to listen to me and help me choose the right car for me. if I ever have to buy another car, I won’t look no further, and will also recommend FOWLER VOLKSWAGEN OF NORMAN for all my friends.Thank you guys very much, and I must also say, I LOVE MY CAR.Thank you.Olivia.
A huge thank you to Cam and Kevin for taking care of us during this car experience. They went above and beyond and made it a great car buying experience. 10++++
New management and very customer oriented.I had my wifes Passat serviced on 6 January, 2021. The Service Manager is very concerned with customer service. Also, had an appraisal completed by a sales manager. The sales manager and General Manager are also extremely customer oriented. Great people, here. Mr. Fowler should be very proud.
We worked with Cliff Mason on the purchase of a 2021 Atlas. He was informative and extremely knowledgeable on the Atlas, but was never pushy. He communicated with us multiple times after our purchase to see if we had any questions or needed anything. Cliff was easy to work with and I would absolutely recommend him for the purchase of a Volkswagen.
Best car buying experience EVER!!! Our saleswoman, Kaitlin, was wonderful and she worked hard for us! We originally were looking at the Tiguan but then the Taos came out and I texted Kailtin, told her what we were looking for and she found us the exact car we were looking for and at the best price! I may never buy a vehicle from any other dealer. I normally hate the car buying process but Kaitlin and the sales manager have completely won me over at Fowler Volkswagen. They were all helpful without being pushy and honest which, as you know, is a Unicorn in the car dealership industry. Well done Fowler, well done!
Dakota was excellent to work with and we feel we got a fair deal. Very happy with our purchase and dealing with Fowler.
They were helpful. It took little bit of time but I got what I wanted
The most pleasant, stress-free, car purchase Ive ever made. The staff is extremely professional and ready to help. Thanks again Fowler VW.
The service department did an amazing job. I had quite a bit of work done to my older model Jetta that was in desperate need of some TLC. I was informed of what was being done throughout the entire process. Everyone was courteous and made sure I was happy with the end result. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Fowler VW!
Josh and Chaz took the time to explain everything to me and help me find a great deal. After a devastating hail storm, they made the process easier.
I have a brand new 2019 Atlas. 5 months after purchasing the check engine light came on. I called and had great customer service from the start. Turns out there was a pretty big issue that had to be addressed. I was told it would hopefully be a 3 day turn around. But definitely by end of week. I called Thursday and was told they were waiting on 1 part to be delivered and someone would call me the following day with an update. No one ever called me back. Not once. I was told (after I called daily) that my vehicle would be complete the following day and they would call. It was another full week before my vehicle was ready for pick up. And I called daily after being told someone would call me with an update the next day. I was told this by several different people with no follow through. Communication is key. Follow through is super important. They had neither of these in my experience. I understand delays in shipping. I do not understand lack of communication and follow through. The only reason I’m not giving 1 star is the first gentleman I spoke with was very helpful the day I delivered my vehicle.
My daughter was driving back to school and had a low-tire light come on. She pulled in to Fowler VW and Jacob Ranjel in service checked all 4 tires and found 2 that had low pressure. He also did a quick check around the car to make sure everything else was OK. He ended up topping off her coolant as well. Thank you Jacob for getting my daughter back on the road safely!
Second time to have my Golf R serviced at this dealership, friendly staff, did a good job, will keep going there.
Fowler Volkswagen was great!! Hollie Ann was so helpful and made it fun and easy to buy a car. Bryan, in financing, made the experience painless. I love my new car. Thank you so much.
Typical Dealer. We were told by the sales staff, anytime your vehicle is to get worked on, you get a loaner one, if we dont have one available, well make one available to you. So after we purchase a brand new 2021 vehicle, Fast forward to 3 months later, our vehicle was hit and needed repaired as well as a 90 day checkup and a warranty issue to be handled. Magically, we dont have any loaners plus we dont do the body work so we wont loan you one anyways. But when we showed up for our 90 day checkup, the service guy met us with, are you guys here to drop off the vehicle and get into a loaner? If so, well take it to Collision works, pick it up and then finish the 90 day check up and do the warranty problem all at once. When that was explained we were told we were wrong and must have been mistaken. So far, sales staff, sales manager, and one service guy told us this can easily happen then when its time to happen, it magically doesnt exist. Too much confusion and nobody ever seems to know what the other is saying and what they can/cant do. We picked this dealer since it was the better of the 3, now I wish we wouldve just stuck with the closer one since they all seem to be the same BS. Everything they have promised has yet to happen.
Weve had both our VW and Audi serviced by Fowler VW and the service dept. was fantastic. Time came to trade in the Audi and Fowler had exactly what we wanted at a great price! The whole experience from test-drive to financing was a breeze. No wasting of time, no games, no BS! I have no doubt well look to them the next time were ready for another car!
Hollie was an amazing sales person to work with. Really appreciate her insight and expertise! Whole team was great, but Hollie really made our experience! Happy with our purchase and would definitely purchase another vehicle at the same dealership… Highly recommend asking for Hollie!
I came to this dealer with no intention of purchasing a vehicle. I have had a negative notion of VW from a young age, due to family opinions, and only came to appease my wife. We were greeted by Nick, who assessed our needs in a casual non vulture-like salesman approach. We were invited inside to view a showroom floor model, out of the cold. Once viewing a model, we were greeted by the GM and new car sales manager. Both gentlemen were courteous, and reiterated the no pressure approach, which continued throughout the visit. I agreed to a test drive, and offered my license and insurance as requested. I thought it was odd at the time having only given license in the past, but I abliged. Nick then provided me a key to a 2021 Atlas, as well as a business card. He said go give it a try, and call me if you have any problems. I have never been on a test drive without a salesman, and this blew me away. My wife and I jumped in with grins, like a couple of teenagers in moms car. We took our time and both got a feel for the vehicle. At this point my opinion rapidly changed, and this was now #1 on my list. The Atlas drove like a sedan, and had the room for our 2 children, as well as the one on the way. We returned and all I could do was smile and tell Nick of my change of heart. We spoke, and informed the guys we loved the car, but had some errands to run. In all truth we were heading to Kia to drive a Telluride. The GM Chas offered to have us take the car for the afternoon to further assess a good fit. Use my gas is what he said during the offer. I declined respectfully. We proceeded to drive an SX Telluride, and I quickly realized we didnt belong at Kia, despite a long history of purchases as Kia. I called and agreed to the offer to borrow the vehicle. We then grabbed our kids, got some food, and had a good understanding of the vehicle, as well as how good it fit us. We returned to the dealership confident in our decision, and ready to sign paperwork. We initially wanted a different color, which the team was able to locate at another dealership. The finances didnt quite work for us, and we left without a new car. We were later contacted by the team who proposed a deal on the vehicle we had driven that day. My wife and I agreed we could compromise on color. We set a very specific monthly number, and the team was able to meet the number, despite more than $10k in negative equity. I am absolutely certain this deal would not have worked at any other dealership. The team did what needed to be done to make it happen, and for that we are so grateful. Mom is happy, and we now have a vehicle capable of transporting our growing family with room to spare. Thank you Fowler VW for going the extra mile for us, and giving us an unforgettable experience. We will be back.
Just purchased an Atlas from Fowler Volkswagen and am very pleased. All the people we worked with from sales to finance were very friendly, helpful and easy to work with. This was our first experience with Volkswagen and this dealership and would definitely recommend them.
The dealership did everything they could so I could get one of my dream cars. Working with me and .y family. Then taking the time out of there day to deliver the Mustang all the way from Norman to Lawton. Definitely a 5 out 5.
I took my Passat in to get oil changed and spark plugs replaced and was told it would be about an hour and a half. That was at 10:30 and I didn’t leave until 3:00. I’m giving 3 stars because the service supervisor Sam was really friendly and apologized for the long wait. I wouldn’t have had an issue if I would have been informed that the job was going to take longer due to them not having all the parts. At least that way I could have arranged for someone to pick me up.
We worked with Josh and Brian on the purchase of our 2021 VW Tiguan. They were both great to work with and made the car buying experience stress-free!
The overall experience was outstanding. Two people named Scott helped me find the car I wanted. They were beyond sincere, kind, graceful and immensely helpful. Shopping for cars can be really stressful. The Scott’s made it much more manageable and comfortable. They were honest and chill. My dad and I walked away having had an absolutely delightful experience. Would recommend. Ask for Scott! Any Scott!
Great customer service, very friendly. They make you apart of their family, very welcoming. They wouldnt sleep until they got us in our 2021 tiguan r-line, did everything in their power to make sure we were happy. I would HIGHLY recommend you buy from fowler vw, you wont be disappointed.
After several months of discussion, I am happy to report that the general manager will be helping manage my expectation to have some repairs reimbursed. Jim has assured me that I will get credit to future repairs, and I am happy with the final response. The sales department did a great job in the beginning, but the service department had issues after purchase was complete. Some turn over at the service department may be to blame for the situation, so I am back to recommending Fowler VW for future purchases. I feel like they do their best to be fair, but sometimes it takes time to get to the right person to get the situation resolved. Be patient, and they seem to be responsive.
Traveled 10 more mins away from my normal service just to see these guys and gals. Very friendly and identified an issue that my other dealership didnt. Overall I would go back if I could. Shout out to Sam. He did well.
Purchased a used VW from out of state. They picked me up at the airport and the process was seamless. I had a few issues like not getting 2 keys and a balance issue but management dealt with everything very professionally. I would recommend them
I bought my car there at 10:30 AM and by 3:30 PM the car still was not touch!
My pup, Nan, and I stopped in for an oil change on my Tiguan. Everyone was so friendly and professional. I felt very safe waiting in the lobby. Everyone was wearing masks and wearing them correctly, which really made me feel at ease. The oil change took about an hour and because I just purchased my car from them in October, it was free. My service advisor did offer one recommended service that was not included as part of the free oil change, but she clearly explained that it was a recommendation and optional. I appreciated the low-pressure environment and trusted her recommendation. Nan was being very dramatic while we waited and was laying in the middle of the floor begging for attention. I really appreciated that several employees stopped and gave her ear scratches and pets. It was the best. I’m glad I made the drive.
Hollie helped us find a great car, and the rest of the staff ensured we got the best deal possible. Seamless, easy process and left feeling great
The service advisor, Jacob, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was done quickly and professionally and my car runs great!
We’ve been hunting for a new car for awhile and finally found the one we wanted at this dealership. We were in constant contact texting w/ James the salesperson and he knew that we got a babysitter and were driving 30 minutes to specifically see and test drive the car that we wanted. When we arrived we found out the the car that we wanted had been purchased by one of the managers at the dealership which they already knew but didn’t communicate to us before we left the house (we texted them and told them when we were heading over). Instead they tried to push 2 others vehicles on us that we had specifically told them previously that we were not interested in.Classic bait and switch: makes me think that the dealership is more interested in putting their needs before the needs of their customers. We would have been disappointed but understood if they informed us that the car was no longer available BEFORE WE LEFT. Instead, they decided to waste our Saturday afternoon by not listening to or respecting us as customers.
Updated review: after the experience below, Fowler management bent over backwards to take car of us. The next trip in was speedy, kind, and well-communicated; in fact, they got me in in a hurry without an appointment and got me a loaner for the weekend. A much improved experience.Previous review: Soooooo disappointed in this service experience! During the inspection, they discovered a “coolant leak”, when I finally heard back via text from the original”advisor”, I expressed my displeasure that they wanted me to pay an additional $124.95 for a diagnostic on an issue they “fixed” last year. He replied he would look into it and 4 hours later, my car was reported/texted ready to pick up. I went to pick it up and was informed it was unsafe to drive. Multiple phone calls (with no call-back), here we are TWO WEEKS later and no call-back, no text, no email (lots of emails from the same dept trying to get me to schedule the service I denied) to let me know it’s ready. Today, I called with a “here’s my daily call to check on my car” and I received multiple excuses and finally a report that it’s ready for pickup. I understand COVID is insidious and can swamp a business; however, I just asked to be kept updated.
Had a great experience at Fowler VW!!
Purchased my 2019 VW ATLAS in Feb. 2020. 3 months into owning it the fuel injector went out. Had it replaced had issues with it still jolting and not driving right took it back in August 2020 for the service tech to tell us if something was broke he would fix it. January 2021 the car was jolting and shaking so took it in to find out another fuel injector and engine wiring harness broke. All under warranty of course thankfully. Was told when I called to bring it in by the receptionist that I probably would not be able to even get a loaner car due to the loaner car changes. Very unfriendly but I let it go. Come to find out the car was in fact unsafe to drive like I suspected and WAS able to get a loaner vehicle. The loaner vehicle sounded WORSE than my car. The front passenger tire sounded like it was going to roll off. Also, for my inconvenience of having all of these issues they had lovely signs in the car stating 50 miles max per day (I drive to norman for work from south okc every day so could only drive to and from work for over a week) and that a 250$ cleaning fee could be applied. Thanks I have an ATLAS because I have small children so was stressed about getting the loaner TAN seats dirty the whole time or would be out 250$. Or going over 50 miles or would be charged for that also. AGAIN WHILE I WAS INCONVENIENCED by the problems of my 40,000$ car I bought from Folwer VW. I had contacted VW of America with concerns my car possibly being a lemon with all of these issues we have had in less than 1 year for a brand new car. Of course no help from anyone at VW Fowler I had to contact them myself. They were outstanding at VW America. But they did let me know the manager was slow in getting back to them with any information. A service manager Jamie I believe also told me in 7 months of working there she has seen about 4 like this so far and was wondering if there would be a recall. Great I feel real confident now in my purchase. Above all highly disappointed in NO ONE from Fowler VW following up with me in this whole time frame. When we purchased the car I believe scott is his name said “you are like family now” hope they don’t treat their own family this way.
We had an amazing experience buying a new Altas! Everyone was so helpful and made the process, dare I say easy! Thank you!!!
I made an appointment a week in advance to get my oil changed. I arrived on time. After 2 hours and ten minutes, when I asked about it it still wasn’t done. They were waiting for a bay to get it done. I asked why they didn’t have a bay open for my appointment time and they were like we just do the best we can. Most express oil change places have it done in 20 minutes without an appointment! This is complete BS!
Dakota was extremely helpful and friendly and made the whole process really simple for us. We will definitely be back to buy our next VW!
Prompt, friendly service. I appreciate the text updates and quick turnaround on our service appointments!
Busy but waiting is comfortable. Good coffee and pleasant folk.
My saleswoman was very professional and we had a couple good laughs. Price negotiating was fair and respectful. The others that I met were nice.I had a fun conversation about 4 wheelin with one employee. Overall it was a great experience.
Received recall letter from VW, and was needing oil change, so decided to give them another try. Megan made scheduling easy, and booked us a rental as the recall was going to take some time. When we arrived, Sam got us checked right in and out with the rental. He called when work was completed. Clean facilities, friendly staff and this time an overall much better experience than the fist below. Will definitely use again and recommend to others. This comment is about their service department.Live 2 hrs from the dealership, called to schedule an appointment for a simple oil change of our 2018 Atlas, explaining i had no other business in Norman and would be waiting. Was assured they would get me in on time, and out quickly. I arrived 10 minutes early, and they took the vehicle right in, appointment scheduled for 10 am received incoming text at 9:51. At 11:14 received another text saying they recommended an air filter as well, and notifying me of a recall needing to be fixed. At 12:43, after hearing nothing else, I text asking for a time update/estimate. At 1pm, 3hrs from start, was told my vehicle was ready. They completed the oil and airfilter change. Was told they could not do the recall that my VIN pulled up as needed, because VW had not approved it, and no further explanation. They did complete the 20 point check, but the tire rotation promised with the service was not completed. I do understand that Covid has changed things, but this experience was just not good. Will say the staff was friendly, and dealership very clean and comfortable, but did not make up for the 3hr oil change. They did give me a small discount, and did apologized for the wait, but not sure I will return there.
I would give more stars if I could! Kaitlin did an awesome job, she explained and went through all of my paperwork with me, she was very helpful and went above and beyond for me! Finance was great and answered any questions that I had! I definitely recommend Fowler VW if you are looking to purchase a car!!
I’ve had good experience here, but I did have one bad experience this time which I understand happens sometimes when people are busy and mistakes are made, but I went in for an oil change scheduled at 3:15 and I didn’t get out of there till six and I had to check after two hours instead of them checking on me.
