I keep seeing these reviews and I am not sure why I am seeing bad ones. I just purchased a car here and had no issues. I was able to find what I wanted and I spoke with Chelsea and Marina in the internet department and they were the most friendly. They set my appointment for me and I was able to come in and get with managers and finance in a smooth fashion. I LOVE MY NEW CAR!!!
The absolute worst place and experience ever for my first time in Oklahoma. I was mislead from the very beginning from a girl named Sierra. Gathered my personal information and made it seem as if something good was going to happen. Then directed me to a specific owner named Randy who claimed he ran the place and promised me $800-$1000 to get unto a vehicle with no problem and was making himself seem high than his actual title by saying the girl I spoke to worked for him and they all do what he says.. shame on me for believing this kid. But heres the twist. Me, my daughter, and other half took a 158mile drive just to see the great deal and when we get there everything went downhill. And apparently Randy was just like everyone else. A sales rep. But he wasnt even there to even help with his promises so that $800-$1000 changed to $3000+ and then we added a co-buyer for the sake of income since everything Randy and Sierra said was a lie.I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional and beyond childish. Hopefully no one has to deal with the nonsense like we did. Honestly believe they did it as a joke not thinking we would actually show up. Because he also said they do not do deliveries even though the website says so. But again Shame on me but never again.
I purchased a vehicle at Big Red Kia and was told three days later that the car salesman I had originally filled out paperwork with was fired the same day. I had to re fill out paperwork two days later and after completion in financing (4 hours later) was told the man who was fired took home the key fobs to my vehicle I had just purchased. Big Red gave me a loaner vehicle to drive until they could have a key be cut for my vehicle that I had already officially purchased. I was not apologized to or spoken with by ANY management. Upon picking up my vehicle two days later, I am given a standard cut key. (I also left the dealership without paper tags on the vehicle and didnt notice it for a whole day, when I called not a single apology). No fobs or no explanation of when I would be getting fobs. it has now been TWO months since Ive purchased my vehicle and still no key fobs nor conversation with management. I have called and texted the second car salesman Allan, with ZERO response. Completely unorganized and unprofessional. The only positive thing I have to say is that my vehicle price was outstanding and definitely beat any other lot I had looked at.
Definitely would recommend Big Red Kia.Fox is an amazing salesman. He truly has the buyers best interest. Almost shocking for a car salesman to have such a benevolent spiritMy car has just as much negative equity as it does worth.(I was really screwed )And just beginning to build my credit. So I wasnt able to get a new car unfortunately but he still sat me down and walked me through what I needed to do, to get out of my situation. If he was this helpful to me, hed be amazing with someone who actually had buying power. This is a great place to buy your first car.
The ol’ bait and switch just happened to me. I’ve been speaking to a Chelsea on the phone and online. Told me everything was in order and the 2 cars that I was buying would be up front and ready for me. I get there and all of a sudden they were sold. Then the “manager” came out and tried to blame it all on the call center and how they need to get rid of them. Absolutely ridiculous! Not happy at all! I will never recommend this place to anyone! Go to Bommer Kia, they at least won’t lie to you. Don’t waste your time here!!!
Took them a while for them to find me a truck but the one they did find turned to junk after 4 days, and they never disclosed that there was no horn in it, but whats moat important is that I was able to return it and get my downpayment back without hassle. I would buy a vehicle here again but not finance because the stuff they typically approve you for financing isnt as good.
Bait and switch! If you’d like to waste your time come here. After talking to Marina, being assured the vehicle was available, I showed up and no car was there! Talked to a guy, no recognition on his face when I said Marina set up an appt (communication is obv lacking), told me he had “just seen it” and then checked online inventory. They couldn’t even told me they sold it, it was like the car vanished! But he offered to show me other vehicles, ha. No thank you. You can’t even locate a vehicle, I’m not trusting you with a purchase. Dishonest, distrustworthy, and the reason why people avoid dealerships, better step up your game when one can easily search online or fb marketplace. Turns out the dealership has a reputation for this practice!
These folks were super helpful when I was buying my Nissan Frontier from Texas. They even met me at my hotel for pickup. Truck was exactly as described. Very cool experience.
Super helpful people! The parts department found a super hard to find part for me and saved me lots of money and time! Can’t recommend this place enough
Went to look at a vehicle and was taken back by the building itself. Its incredibly run down and I wouldnt have expected that from a car lot that advertises EVERYWHERE and has been around for a long time. Maybe they are about to build a new place next door? I did notice a lot being prepared. As for sales people, it was incredibly difficult to locate someone to help me.
I could not recommend Big Red enough. Our salesman Rich was wonderful. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and he helped make it happen for us but every single person we encountered during both visits were wonderful. Made us feel comfortable and at ease and were genuinely excited for us to have found our dream/forever car for our family. We were in, trade in assessed, approved and signing papers in less than 2 hours. Take your business there.
They helped my son get his first truck! Pres and Joseph were fantastic during the whole process. We appreciate their help and genuine care in making sure he got what he wanted. We will be back when my daughter is ready to purchase her first car!
I went to try and do a trade in. I called first and talked to Taylor. She was very pleasant on the phone. Joe was the salesman that went above and beyond for me. I had to jump through a few hoops to get the car I wanted but I didn’t feel like I was alone. Joe was right there the entire time. He was very professional and jumped through the hoops with me!! Thank you Joe for helping me get into the car I wanted!!
I would highly recommend Big Red Sports for anyone to purchase a new or used vehicle. Shout out to Chris C. For being the hardest working salesman in the industry!!He put me in a BEAUTIFUL car for a great price!!I will only buy from him from now on!!!
Very nice and helpful and professional. Without a shadow of doubt one of the most professional detailed orientated on-line auto-dealers around. Unfortunately my finances have been changed since visiting with them. And now having or trying to find something under 4k cash or finance thats dependable roomy and comfort is next to impossible but well figure something out if anybody knows of anything give me a holler.
Chris Cirillo was amazing! I wasn’t even looking for a new car until he posted a picture online. When I got to the dealership he was nothing but upfront with me and very down to earth. In fact, everyone I encountered at the dealership, from the salesman (not mine) that congratulated me to the excellent finance manager I had, everyone was great. They didn’t low ball my trade and in fact gave me more than I was expecting. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to purchase a car.
My cousin went here and bought a Porsche thinking he was getting a good deal. Then BOOM couple months later the transmission goes out and has to be replaced, over $15,000 to get it replaced! Never go here there are erred car lots that you should buy from not these people they don’t care about you after they get your money!
Pro: they are friendly & promptCon: they are cheap & untrustworthyI recently bought a used car from them and I bought it as-is, they didn’t offer a warranty. I likely would have declined it anyway. Taking the car to my mechanic when the check engine light came on 3 days later, there goes $3000. Another few days later and the tire pressure light comes on. They had used a “gummy plug” to do a quick fix on a tire to avoid replacing them and I am now out another $1000.All I can say is it’s a damn good thing I wanted THIS vehicle and know how to save money or I would be SUNK.
I spoke with this new sales guy named fox and he was so helpful. I didnt purchase a car yet but ill definitely be back.
After looking at there online inventory was told that they didnt have any vehicles under 10K. They have a sister dealership just across I35 that told me different. Honestly I feel like the customer rep was just trying to sell us a more expensive car to make a better commission.
I tried to buy a car (and was ready to) but I told them if they pulled any tricks I was gone. I asked for $500 off the car. They gave me the total (key word here: TOTAL), minus down payment. They showed where they also gave me the $500 off. Then I noticed off to the side, + DOC. I asked what that was and it turned out to be a hidden fee and was NOT included in with the total. (Shouldnt the total actually mean total?). The DOC fee was $500. So, they gave me the total (which was actually $500 more) and the $500 I asked off the car. My theory was after they told me the total did not include the DOC $500 fee I was supposed to be grateful that I got the money back so I could pay it. WRONG! I said the deal is off. I will NEVER buy a car from Big Red Kia. Come on, just be straight with your customers and youll be surprised how many more cars youll sell. I only gave them one star because I couldnt give zero and post the review.
I gave my review about how dishonest Big Red Kia is and they took it off. I guess they couldn’t handle the truth. Very dishonest sales practices. They lived up to all the bad images people have of car salesmen. Quick! Read this before they take it down!!
I bought a brand new car in 2018 and was treated excellent. Went back a couple of weeks ago and had a totally different experience. This place should be shut down for false advertising. They had me to drive over 100 miles one way telling me they had 7 of the new K5 cars in. I get there and they are all heavily damaged by hail with shattered windshields. The sale manager was the rudest individual Ive ever met. Ill never say a good word about this place again. The lady named Liz should be fired. She is a LIAR!!!!!
Bait & switch. I had to return a car 2 days before my moms funeral because of financing? I thought i was good when i drove away. After being threatened by a manager, i took it back and got a lemon with electrical issues. Never again
Unprofessional staff and the office is unkempt. Employees giving each other hair cuts during peak business hours instead of working with customers. The salesman we dealt with was nice, overall, but knew very little about the vehicle we came to see. During the test drive, the salesman spent the whole time talking about his personal life instead of telling us (aka selling us) on the vehicle and/or asking what we thought about it. When we got back from the test drive we saw an employee giving their coworker a hair cut. Mind you, this was during peak business hours! Not only is this NOT the place to be giving/getting hair cuts, the gentlemen did not clean up the hair afterwards. Completely dissatisfied with the way this place is run and would not trust buying from them.
Not happy with our experience. They have drug their feet on sending title papers to our bank therefor we are running the risk of being penalized for not changing it into our name with in a month. Not only that it seems everyone is on a different page there. We wanted our tires done and were told the turn around time was same day.. then we were told 3 days and finally we were told 3 to 5 days. Due to having a baby at any point while waiting on the car we opted to back out of the tires being done however they already put it into our finance papers. We were told they would send us that check after they got the money from our bank. Now they are sending our bank the check instead. It all just feels shady or like they have a huge lack of communication there.
Absolutely awful. The salesmen didn’t know much about the car I drove, during the test drive was on his phone talking to his girl the entire drive. Also, the sales manager (I’m assuming) was the most condescending and rude person when talking to my mom. It was obvious he had zero intention on selling a car or being a decent human. Do better. Y’all missed a sale on a brand new car. Good on ya!
The dealership had an add on Craigslist about a vehicle they had for sale. I called and the person I spoke with said they sold it but had others at that price range. I drove out there to view the others they had. When I arrived a sales person greeted me. When I told him what I was told about the kind of vehicle I am looking for and the price range his response was, Does it have wheels and run? I was in disbelief at what I heard. It was their add that brought me there. Then he found a vehicle that I was looking for at the other lot. When he drove me over there he parked the truck and stepped out to locate where the vehicle was. As he stepped out he told me, Dont steal my truck. I was taken back by his comment. I asked him why he told me that and he said he was just joking. I was turned off by the whole experience and will never buy a vehicle here.
Bought this 2021 Kia Sportage here I’m very happy with it great for Snow ! They honored everything that was promised ! Would recommend 💯. the manager Shane (I think that’s his name lol ) is the real MVP . The finance lady didn’t pass the vibe check tho she was very moody Almost made me walk away from the deal but the GM took care of it .
I do not recommend this place. The individual I encountered was a very unprofessional the salesmen. He didn’t even bother to show me a car before he attempted to try and run my credit. He was very rude and got offended when we asked for a quote and said we were shopping around. He knew nothing about the car I wanted and seemingly nothing about any car. Also the vehicle was very overpriced, I actually got a 2022 model for 7000 less than they were selling their 2021. My husband and I were there five minutes when we decided to leave.
Thank you for your time and hospitality today for selling me my new 2022 Kia Soul. It was a great experience.
They sold my friend a car that broke down. Transmission has to be replaced after just a few months I would never recommend them even for new cars because better people deserve your business not this deadbeat car lot.
I made the mistake of buying a vehicle from them. Less than a week after I started driving the vehicle I noticed several safety issues. I brought the truck back to have it serviced and have these issues corrected. It has now been 3 weeks and they have not bothered to call back or even answer my phone calls. Not very satisfied with Big Red Kia. I would suggestgoing somewhere else where theyre more professional and treat you like a good person.
I was looking online at their used inventory, and came across a really nice car. I went into the dealership, and was greeted by Rickey. He showed me around the lot, and was super patient and understanding. Jerry, the manager, got me an amazing monthly payment! Will be bringing my wife back for her next car very soon! Thank you!
Absolutely the best car buying experience I have ever had! Buzz listened to my needs and help find the right car for my price point!
Went here for service and for a recall fix. Took about an hour to do both. Good coffee, friendly employees. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is because it is so difficult to contact the service department here, but that is the same at all of the Kia dealers in the OKC area. If you want to stand out from the other dealers, get someone to answer the phone in the service department.
Bought a used car from this dealership. When arriving to the dealership I was choosing between their car and a car at a different dealership. I was told “we will do this, this, and this if you do your business with us.” Thinking I was going to get the better deal here, I went ahead and ran my credit. NOTHING said to get me to run my credit was followed through on. Beaten down and annoyed, I went ahead and signed the paperwork to buy the car. After walking out to see my new car, the detail revealed that the car was COVERED in hail damage. It took me crying and causing a scene to even get the managers to come out and look at the car. I was unaware of the damage when I bought it. I was told the car had a good price because “it’s been on our lot too long”, not because it had damage. They finally agree to fix the car for me, and said I could pick it up Monday or Tuesday when it’s done.... I was left without a car for 2 weeks before it was actually ready for pickup. Every person I have shared this story with has also had absolutely nothing good to say about this dealership. I will say, the salesmen Brad was very lovely and understanding. He apologized to me, when the managers wouldn’t even look or talk to me. He is the reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one.
Thank you for your help! Buzz was great at getting me the car I was after. I appreciate it.
I have been looking for a vehicle for my daughter for a few years, but long story short, its been difficult. Chris Cirillo, my salesman, kept an eye on the inventory for me, and one of the managers helped me get approved with the best rate Ive ever had and monthly payments that are super affordable--and on a NEW CAR! This was the easiest buying experience of my life so far, and I would definitely recommend this dealership!
The WORST customer service I’ve ever received and I originally purchased my trade in from tinker. I told them I didn’t want my credit pulled because I was preapproved through a bank already but they insisted “they’d get me a better deal” and then they sold my vehicle that I was purchasing and told me they had a completely different vehicle I was even looking for (Kia Sorrento three row for a Kia Sportage). And my salesman (Micah) didn’t even have the decency to let me know. He had another employee come tell me and used the excuse “I’m just the middle man”. I was there at the dealership from the time they were open to about 6 o’clock. Mind you I WAS IN PRELABOR!!!!!!
We had found a listing for this 2009 Cobalt earlier in the week. We thought it was a good deal and were willing to drive from out of state to check it out. My husband called to set up an appointment and told the sales rep to call us if anything changed because we were coming up specifically for that car. He again called the evening before to confirm the car was there, and then called the bank to inform them we would be making a large purchase the next day, this was approximately 3:00pm. At about 5:30pm I pulled up the link to get the address so we knew how early to leave the next morning. To my surprise the cost of the vehicle had been doubled (mind you, no one informed us of this during the entire week we were in contact). My husband called to ask about the price change and he was told they had done some mechanical work (I guess between Tuesday when we scheduled the appointment to Friday) which is why the cost went up.They must have done some really extensive repairs to justify a $2000 increase. When my husband told him we were no longer interested, he tried to offer another vehicle, but the fact that they tried to pull a bait and switch made us feel they weren’t a very trustworthy dealership. So we will be looking somewhere else.I’ve attached photos showing it’s the same vehicle with the price increase
Brad was friendly, funny, upfront, and direct. I went with a friend to purchase a vehicle. Brad greeted us immediately, with a smile. We told him how much we wanted to spend and he showed us the vehicles that matched what we were looking for.. my friend was not pressured and felt very comfortable purchasing a car today. Thanks Brad for my first stress free, almost fun, car buying experience!
I was in contact with a salesman from here texting back and forth about a Kia K5, sent pictures of the two I was interested in on their lot. She confirmed that they did have those. I set up an appointment for today. My husband and I drove TWO hours to get there, we walk in tell them who we have an appointment with, that lady obviously wasn’t there, so another lady starts helping us, and as we are walking out to look at the vehicles, she notifies us that ALL of their K5s have hail damage!! Hail damage to the extent that the hood is covered in dents, the windshields are completely shattered, not even capable of driving! Might I add in text she asked me if I would like to test drive one! How can I test drive a vehicle with a completely shattered windshield!? Why did the salesman fail to mention to me that they all had hail damage before I drove 2 hours!!!! I do not recommend this dealership at all!! Absolutely ridiculous!!!
**updated 3/26/21** after emailing Chris with the details, they have reimbursed my brother for the vehicle. It turns out that whoever serviced it, did not replace any of the fluids and blew the engine. Thankfully Chris was kind enough to completely reimburse my brother!Wish I could leave less than one star. My brother bought a used car from them today 3/15/21 after previously test driving the car. He didnt make it five miles from the lot before it left him stranded on the highway. He walked back to the lot and they told him sorry, YOU bought it as-is.
Richard is a very unprofessional and discriminatory employee. Discriminating against disabled veterans and financially challenged people isnt a very good look Richard. Save yourself from this experience and go somewhere else!
Would not recommend. Will send your title to the co-signer not the owner of the car.
The worst dealership experience we have had. The consultant sitting outside walked up to us when we arrived but only shook hands/greeted/spoke to my boyfriend, and ignored me (girlfriend) the whole time we were there. He never even glanced at me. Luckily for him, my boyfriend was the one looking for a car, so we stuck around for a bit. He then took us to see two cars that had not been cleaned and both smelled terrible. He told us the wrong price (by several thousand dollars) for two out of three cars he showed us and we walked around the lot for fifteen minutes because he didn’t know where one of the cars was. We ended up leaving while he was still trying to figure out where it was. We will not be returning here, other people may have better experiences with other consultants but ours was not knowledgable or friendly.
I have to say I was very skeptical about going here for a vehicle after dealing with a completely different lot. However. Angie my sales lady was absolutely wonderful. I already knew which vehicle I wanted and I was in and out under an hour. They were upfront and honest about everything and they kept their advertised price. I will be purchasing my next vehicle here for sure. Thank you again. And thank you Angie for being a rockstar.
The only reason that I am giving this a one star review is because there is not a zero star option. My frustration started the second I was confronted by a salesperson. I was at Big Red Kia looking for a new vehicle to replace my unreliable older model sedan. I kept telling the sales person that I would like to look at new vehicles and the salesperson was very firm that I look at a used one. Upon deciding I was still considering my options I decided to view the used section just like I was being pushed to do and found a model with low miles that I started to like. I then went inside to talk numbers and set my current car keys down on the table when they were then picked up by the sales person in a hurry and given to another man to inspect my current vehicle. Upon asking why this was necessary I was asked you said you were trading in your old one? Next thing I see the man is pulling my car off the lot taking it for a test drive that I never consented to. Upset and angry sitting in the dealership my car comes back and the keys are put in the managers office. Upon trying to retrieve my keys I was asked what caused the hurry out of the dealership. I will not be back and will not recommend this dealership to anyone!!! Take your money somewhere where you can be treated with good service and not pushed over by these car salesmen who think they are being slick.
Bait and switch and told us they had the car detailed and ready to go waiting up until 10 minutes before we got there. We drove almost an hour to be told that vehicle was gone. Then was told they would find me something and NEVER even reached back out to us.This is not a legitimate practice and when I received a message after I got home saying again to come in it was available that is not legal or ethical. Then my husband inquired and also was solicited and assured the same vehicle was there and available and there. The first listing no pictures the second after I was told it was sold was UPDATED WITH PICTURES THAT IS NOT ETHICAL AND NOT LEGAL!TO THINK THIS SO CALLED REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP CAN PRACTICE THIS DECEPTIVE PRACTICE IS SHOCKING!!!ALSO I AM STILL BE CONTACTED BY THE INTERNET SALES EVERYDAY AND WOULDVE CONSIDERED BUYING BUT THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY DONT CARE AND NOT ON A LEGITIMATE DEALERSHIP. I AM STILL IN THE MARKET AND HAVE CASH IN HAND AND I HOPE A REAL GM READS THIS FROM A DEALERSHIP THAT ACTUAL CARES ABOUT A SALE REACHES OUT TO ME IN THE NEXT DAY!!! I AM BUYING A CAR!!!
My husband and I went to look at a car that was priced at a great deal; however, once we got there we realized that the car had hail damage. We walked the lot with Micah who showed us a lot of different options that were in our price range continuing to talk about our wants and needs. He ended up showing us a 2020 Kia Telluride that wasnt even a car I had on my radar. Micah worked hard to make sure all our needs were met and the finance guy was knowledgeable and explained all our options while listening to different concerns we had. Buying a car is always a big deal, but this was one of my better experiences and I never felt pressured to make any decisions.Edited to update my frustrations: none of my frustrations are with the sales team. Everything with them remains as mentioned above. However, we’re now 30+ days from my purchase and I don’t have the necessary paperwork to handle my registration. I called and asked to be transferred to finance and was hung up on both times. I sent a contact form request through the website explaining I had been hung up k and my issue, no calls and no emails. I sent a Facebook message and received an instant response back that someone would be in touch and nearly six hours later there’s still nothing. I get that everyone is busy but the lack of response in any medium is extremely concerning.Edited again as Im now more than two business days from my initial attempt to reach them and was told my information was passed on but have yet to hear from the finance department. Theyre clearly happy to close deals but then cant be bothered from that point on. Extremely disappointed as I was so pleased up until this fiasco of trying to get my car registered.
Spent over a month looking for the right Jeep Wrangler at the right price. Big Red had great prices, and they delivered my new Jeep to me in Texas. I found a small problem and asked the dealership to fix it. They told me to get an estimate and covered the work with no issues and in a very timely manner. I worked very closely with Dena, and she was great. Always very professional and right on top of everything. I have already recommend Big Red to my friends and will continue to do so!
Micah is a lier ....... stop lying to peopleBe fk honest ..yall might sell more cars if people would be honest and not lead them on and make them think they got approved......
My experience there was an enjoyable one. Mica the salesman, was genuinely concerned about our wants and needs. My girlfriend was blown away by the help we received. Would recommend and do business again
Sales staff were nice, but the lot is difficult to navigate me some displays along the median make it sporty to exit the premisses due to blocking line of site on incoming traffic
My husband had been looking for a work truck we had stopped at several dealerships and most of them wouldn’t even greet us but at Big Red Kia Micah greeted us right away and helped us buy the perfect truck. Micah went above and beyond helping us.! Thanks.!
Great people! Great service
This is by far one of the best dealerships I’ve dealt with before! Will was my salesman and he was professional, fun and easy to deal with during the purchase. He made this buying experience enjoyable. Ryan in financing was quick and proficient. He got to the point and did not waste any time! Shane one of the sales managers was amazing too! This was the third car I have bought at this dealership. I did my research before I went to shop and the whole process was smooth and to the point. No time was wasted for anyone in the buying and selling of a vehicle. I could not ask for anything more. Thanks for making my car purchase pleasant.
I purchased a vehicle from “Big Red Kia” back in 2019.. I traded in my old car for something more suitable for my growing family. It’s now 2021, and I am still driving the same vehicle! I am extremely happy with the vehicle I purchased at this dealership, and will continue coming back in the future. The sales staff is welcoming, genuinely kind, caring, and understanding. The manager worked really hard to find me a great deal, and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you!!!
This was the worst experience in buying a car i have ever had. They tried to sell a vehicle that was not road worthy and then left me high and dry with no way home after their vehicle broke down. I would not recommend this place to anyone
My husband and I purchased a 2020 Escape in January and we are very happy with the vehicle and mostly happy with our experience. My husband called the day before to let them know we were interested and would be driving from Ponca City in the morning. They said they would hold the vehicle for us. We get there for a test drive and were greeted by a salesman named Will. He was very friendly, but clearly new. We get in the car for a test drive and it has 0 miles until empty. My husband asked if gas could be put in it before the test drive. Will said he would go in and ask for a gas card. He came back out and said we will have to make it a short test drive because they wouldnt give me a card so we werent even able to properly test drive the vehicle. We decided we wanted the vehicle and started the paperwork process with our own financing. We then had to wait over an hour for the car to get out of detail. My husband asked Will if he was going to have gas put in the vehicle for us, to which he replied yeah Ill have a guy run and put a gallon in it we thought we misheard him.. we did not. The car gets back to us and we are moving our things over and look down to see 5 miles to empty. In all of our experiences buying vehicles we have never received a car with less than half a tank. My husband made a comment to Will and he said well I have to pay for it so... to which another salesman laughed and said you should really take better care of your customers. Also, we asked if there was a second key and Will said we hold on to the second key and mail it out once paperwork is finalized. We received the title today and my husband called to ask about a second key and finds out there isnt one. He was told they only hold on to a key for new vehicle purchases. Again, we are very happy with the vehicle and mostly happy with our buying experience, it just seems like some training was lacking in order to make it a great experience for the customer.
Big red is a great place to go to get good vehicles and the people are really nice and respecting.
Was pre approved online last month . Went to dealership with a trade in, got the car we wanted, filled out paperwork and was told everything was good. About 2 weeks later we were told we needed more documentation...which we provided. Again we assumed everything was good. About 3 weeks later we get a letter saying the finance company has decided not to finance the car. Then we get a letter we owe money? During all this the Finance person I was communicating with stopped all communication and has not answered a text since Jan. 30th. I called yesterday and asked to speak to a manager, I provided a contact number and no one called. It has been over a month and I have no idea what is going on!!! Why would you tell someone they are good to go only to tell them a month later they are no being financed. I have never experienced anything like this. Can someone there please contact me so I know what is going on.
This is hands down the best service dept! I love the service advisors fun banter and how they made me feel relaxed about dropping my car off. In the past, Ive always had arrogant service depts that just didnt seem to care about my vehicle, but this place changed that! Im so happy I got lucky enough to stubble upon these guys.
Bait and switch. Had to shower after I left. Sadly not the first time. Fool me once, fool me twice, there will not be a third time.
Good selection of vehicles. HOWEVER, the sales reps showed poor prioritization. I was told they were busy with other clients, but rather than have me come back later or wait in a waiting area, I was juggled between clients. Because of this I was left in front of a computer to fill out forms with no one around to answer questions and I was left in the lot wondering if the rep would return. In fact, there was no one around for me to let them know I was leaving.
I want to give a shout out to Darrell who recently sold me a Kia Sorento- I love love love it! The entire team made the process of trading/buying seamless. I recommend this dealership to everyone- they are kind, informative & efficient.
**UPDATE** I sent Chris (owner) an email this morning in regards to this experience and he graciously reached out to my son immediately and apologized. He stated he had no clue this had happened and offered to reimburse the sale amount of the truck. We very much appreciate that you care. Thank you Chris.**Horrible experience and customer service. Long read but worth your time before you waste your money. My son saw a used car online and went to the Big Red on 3/15/21. He talked to Ricky, a salesman on the used car lot. He was told the truck had gone through their service department and was assured it was a running and drivable truck. My son drove the truck down the service road and back and decided to buy the truck. As he left the dealership the truck died and left him stranded on main street less then 1 mile from lot. He called back to Big Red and couldnt get any assistance so he walked back to the lot and talked to Ricky who them told him sorry, it was sold as is. By the time my son got back to the truck it had been towed. My husband drives to Norman to bring cash to the impound lot but they cannot release the truck without the title. My husband calls Big Red to explain this to them and the receptionist hung up on him. So they drive back to the dealership. Ricky was ducking behind vehicles to avoid my son and laughing, not realizing my husband was observing this. They were told they couldnt give the title to him we mail those and technically we have 30 days to mail that to you. My husband speaks to Jerry the General Sales Manager and he told him Big Red will pay to get the truck out of impound and have it tow it to my sons house the next day. 3/16/21 the truck was not towed to my sons house by 4pm. Ricky told my son it was listed as a parts truck. It was not listed on their website as a parts truck. 3/17/21 My son had to go back to the dealership to pickup the title from Jerry who sent out a copy to be given to him by a salesman, he drives over to the impound yard (8 miles from Big Red) and they tell him a copy wont work so he has to drive back to the dealership to get the actual title, again delivered by someone other then Jerry, then back to the impound lot. The impound company then called and spoke to Ricky. Ricky told them my son needed to pay for it. So my son tells them, no, Jerry said they would pay. So the impound lot calls back to talk to Jerry to get paid for the impound charges and tow to my sons house. Finally. Once the truck is at the house my son looks over the truck and there is no oil and no coolant so now the wonderful motor knock. So not only was he sold a complete lemon that he cannot drive, he now has to buy and put a motor in this $2,000 shell of a truck. Such a horrible and frustrating experience.
They have a great selection, but some of the prices are a bit high though. I dealt w/ Jacob, who was courteous, but was very repetitive, & perhaps unintentionally, a bit abrasive & pushy
Best experience Ive ever had buying a vehicle. No hassle and honestly no pressure. Not the typical run around you usually get when car shopping. Probably the first time Ive left a dealership not feeling defeated.
EDIT: After writing the review below, I read the owners reply asking me to e-mail to they could help fix these issues. I e-mailed the address provided and never received a response.I was misled by innocent mistakes three different times during the sales process. I was looking for a used car with navigation, and I found one I was interested in online. I called to see if it had navigation, and I was told it did, so I made an appointment and drove over an hour to see the car. When I got there, there salesperson told me he knew I wanted navigation, and that the car had Apple CarPlay, so I could connect it to my phone to use Google Maps. That wasnt exactly what I wanted, but I was willing to consider it. I ultimately bought the car, and when I got home, I found that the car actually has the Aha app, not CarPlay, and it cannot be used with navigation at all. When I called to complain, the sales manager said he would talk to the general manager to see what they could do to try to make it up to me. I never heard from them again.During the negotiation process, the salesperson told me that my interest rate would be 2%. Its actually 3.6%. He also told me that the car warranty was included in the price, but it wasnt. I had to add that on separately during the financing process.Ultimately, I like the car I bought, but I do not appreciate these oversights. They lied to me, intentionally or not. They need to be familiar with their products. They need to be accurate in their negotiations. And they need to respect that buying a car is a major financial endeavor for their customers.
If I could leave a ZERO I would, these people completely screwed us. Had us sign 3 different contracts, lied about the bank even accepting our credit and kept running our credit till they finally found a bank a week later. The man who sold us talked us into a “extended warranty” stating that “in the event of anything happening to the vehicle it covered anything but tires” called because 3 1/2 years after having bought our car directly off the lot the engine blew up today. Still owe money on our vehicle and pretty sure we will not be getting any help. They want your money and don’t care if they screw you in the process. All the other sales agents we talked to about trading it in agreed that we got screwed over badly by them. This was our time buying a new car from a dealership. Never again.
Update: 3 days later and still no one will return my calls...I bought a 2014 Chevy traverse from them January 25th I expressed to the sales person how important a safe and reliable car is a MUST as I’m expecting my first child and I’ve had nothing but trouble since that day. I literally had to go get an oil change 3 days after i bought it as well as topping off all other fluids because that wasn’t done before they sold the car.. I already have taken my car in once for them to “repair” just to get it back with even more problems after a week of calling and begging for an update on when I’d get my car back. I’ve been waiting a week for a call on when to bring it back in. I’m now expecting my child in less than 2 months and have no a/c, no working temperature gauge in my car, and my car continues to run after being shut off. I lost for what to do at this point because financially I can’t afford to go buy another car with a child on the way I feel I was sold an extremely messed up car and am now being told “we don’t owe you anything”
My friend just bought a car from here today. The moment we were walking up to the doors of Big Red Sports dealership we were instantly greeted by a friendly face and a ready to help you attitude. Our salesperson Chris Cirillo was so welcoming and very knowledgeable. He was determined to make sure my friend found the car she really wanted within her budget. He wasnt pushy, but he really took the time to listen and understand what she was wanting. He was very personal, honest and real when he was assisting in helping my friend find the right car. We highly recommend Big Red Sports and Chris Cirillo!
The buying process from. This dealership was pretty effortless. But i have been waiting for the title of my purchased vehicle over a month and a half and no one can seem to give me any answers. Pretty flusterating.
Would give zero stars if I could. Shady and deceitful. My one suggestion, get your car inspected by someone other than their maintenance department.
My daughter’s older car broke down and she just had to get something dependable and cheap as she is still a student. I told her “Go to Big Red Sports!” I’m sorry I did!!!!! She went and had a terrible experience with male salespersons who didn’t want anything to do with her because she was buying a cheaper used car. They sent her to a second lot they seem to have and a nice lady showed her around. There she actually found her dream car. She’s been driving it for 3 weeks, so happy and proud. Then she gets the call. They supposedly can’t get the title for this SUV she paid cash for and are asking her to bring it back. They say they will refund her money but she is devastated! Seems shady to let someone sign papers and take a car then provide no title. A hard working young lady with little money who did nothing wrong now loses a dependable car, the money she has had to put into it after buying it as is, and faces possible issues due to canceling insurance. Can’t register a car with no title! She has no way to get to work or class so no choice but to return it, accept another car she does not want, or file a lawsuit. Not right!! AND DID I MENTION EVEN THOUGH SHE PAID CASH THEY RAN A CREDIT CHECK AS SHE WAS PAYING...DINGED HER CREDIT REPORT
I drove 2 1/2 HOURS only to be told that the car I had been promised was SOLD!!! I had confirmed that I was on my way 4 times to be sure, too! Even on my drive to Norman I was told the car was there. Then I found out it had been SOLD 2 DAYS AGO!!!!! DONT GO TO THEM!!!
Avoid at all costs.Husband purchased a car here, we paid mostly cash, and needed minimal financing, it took them more than 8 hours. I was ready to walk out.Weve had the car for a few years. Have had all the scheduled maintenance done at BR, a few months ago my husband is driving to work and the car just stops. The oil plug just fell out...get it towed back to BR. They repair, he drives it home(we live about an hour away). When he pulls into my work parking lot, there is gas pouring out of the bottom of the car...they didnt plug the fuel line back in after replacing the motor!
This is by far one of the best dealerships I’ve dealt with before! They got me into the vehicle I wanted and a couple days later the check engine light came on and they quickly got it in the shop and got it fixed without charging me a dime. The salesman was super nice!
No good deals. Dont enter if you have credit challenges
These clowns tried to sell me a rusted old expedition that rattled ac didnt work bad service I went to a different car lot the next day and picked out the car I wanted which was a new jeep patriot with no issues in service or price
Radio commercials are misleading, they dont budge on price, they call endlessly with false promises and when you go in say I dont know who told you that. Prices are rediculous and non asterix next to internet pricing is false advertising. They lie to get you to come in and treat you like you dont know anything. Never shopping there again.
I bought from Brad in September and he and Zach did a great job! It was super quick and simple to buy a car here!! Excellent experience. Highly recommend going to see these guys at Big Red!
I would highly suggest you do not buy a car from big red Kia On March 16, 2021We went in an got fully approved for a 2021 Kia Sorento we had a Co signer with excellent credit signed papers everything was great. They called us 2 days later to sign “electronical papers” so we went in and signed those everything was just great paid 2,500 down with NO TRADE. April 16th comes around and still no title in the mail so we went up there and they said well the bank wants your trade. We said we didn’t trade anything in we put 2,500 down after arguing for an hour they finally said We got it figured out your title will be in the mail no worries. They gave us new paper tag. 2 weeks later 45 days after buying this car they call and say we need your trade for financing. HERE WE GO AGAIN. SHADY.So after all of that they rolled the deal back and now we are left without a vehicle and have no co-signer now. THIS PLACE IS SHADY. They told us and I quote “we do this all the time”I also have the signed contract from the original papers that say 2500 down no trade
William my sales man was awesome and the finance manager did an amazing job too.
At first I was a little skeptical because of another car lot I been to (Nissan of Lawton). Our salesman Brad was excellent. He was patient with me especially since I have PTSD from Iraq. He kept it straight with us and he WILL get you into a vehicle that you can afford. I have to say to the GM promote this man!! Brad was born to sell cars without trying to pressure someone into buying something they dont like. He also dropped our monthly payment we were paying! THANKS BRAD!!
This was my third vehicle purchase on three different dealerships and I would say this was one of the fastest buying experiences I had on a dealership, David was a good listener, we told him the vehicle we wanted and he got us what we wanted. We made the entire process as smooth as it can get. He work it on getting a very good interest rate with the payment just right were we wanted it. .
Darryl was awesome to work with. Quick fast and fair
What an experience. What was to be my daughters first new car buying experience was ruined by the finance department attitude. He attempted to slide in extra warranties that was not wanted and we tried to tell him no repeatedly as he attempted to push to the point where he became angry and stomped out of the room saying he was going to go get his manager. My daughter was scared and I became angry. Had I, as her father, not been there to help her, I know that she would have been bullied as this was what he was attempting to do with us there. I would think that this type of coercive behavior would also be illegal as it is insurance. The salesperson was great Sam-he was very helpful and respectful, however, although I might buy another Kia, it will not be at a dealership that attempts to bully its customers. Buyer beware if the finance department tries to add additional items you do not want and then tries to tell you that you already agreed to it. Numbers can be very evasive. I am only writing about this experience to let others know to be cautious at the finance table.
Thank you for such a pleasant experience! Rickey and the staff were very helpful. You guys are amazing!
I visited there a couple days ago just to look at what vehicles Kia has to offer. I talked with several people from the dealership, from different departments and they were all willing to answer my questions. From finance, service and sales they were all very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I didn’t purchase a vehicle, but when I do buy one I will be going back to Big Red Sports
Nothing but liars and up to no good practicing on financing...call the attorney generals office.
Huge thank you to Jerry at big reds sports for helping me get in my new car with a get price one get salesman ill come back too thank you again
If I could give no stars I would. Lies and shadiness abound. Enough said.
I was told that the car I wanted was available and to come on down for a test drive. When I got to the dealership about 30 minutes later the staff told me it had sold earlier in the week. The front of the dealership is also very dirty.
Had major problems lasted 45days and big red kia specifically shane the gm and John moss took care of me above and beyond the job thank yall for everything
Saw a car online for $988, a 2010 Nissan Altima with 112k miles. Checked the carfax it had looked too good to be true but the last time I bought a car from them it was a pleasant experience so I requested information on the car if it was still available, got a text saying to call a number and set up a test drive so I did. Told them the exact car and an appointment set up.I get to the dealership, it took a few minutes for them to come back and say the car was shot but was willing to work with me on finding something else. I had that thought in the back of my head but pushed it aside due to past experiences, I straight up told the salesman my credit situation and was told my job is my credit. They tried to sell me a car twice the limit I had gave them(they never told me the price of the car I had found it on their site), when I had told the salesman I wasnt interested he tried to make it sound like they were doing me a favor to help rebuild my credit. This is where the fun really begins. He returns with another salesman who says You have four repossessions but we found one bank willing to work with you, while we were standing outside. Not only was my job my credit the second lie they told me in the day, he lied about my credit situation out in the open. He then tried to pressure me by saying he saw my credit report then back peddled when I pushed back about that disrespectful lie acting like it was nothing since they had a bank willing to work with me.I will like to add according to the carfax they received the car in December, for that price point I cannot be the only one to go view the car at this point. They had two chances to tell me it wasnt drivable, they waited to get me in the door to give me the run around.
