The glass covering on my camera on my S10 was cracked. I was able to go in and get it replaced with no issues. When I opened the camera once I arrived home, I noticed that the camera would not focus. This was not an issue when I originally took the phone in, even with the cracked glass. I called CPR the next day and spoke with Weston, and explained my issue. He scheduled a time for me to come in, and when I arrived, he could immediately see the issue with the camera. Upon running diagnostics, and resetting the replacement glass backing, he informed me that it looks to be some sort of damage to the camera assembly. He decided to place a new camera assembly on the phone to see if the issue would be duplicated. It did not. So, without even coming out to discuss the price of repairing the camera assembly, Weston took the initiative to contact his leadership, to see what they could do to make it right for me. Westons actions truly made me feel valued as a customer, becuase not once was there a debate whether I caused the problem or if it was a problem created by the previous technician who performed the original work. I have seen other reviews regarding other repair shops where that has been the case. When all was said and done, I was not charged anything extra for the fix. THAT IS TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE BY WESTON!! I would have been more than happy to pay the cost, if there was something that I caused. However, I am more appreciative that service like I received, is alive and well. Thank you Weston for doing the right thing, and providing exceptional service!!

My husband has used this location for years and they’ve been great. I have a new IPad and the charger broke off in it. I took it in, they looked at it, took it in the back and brought it back a few minutes later fixed, no charge. He said they “got lucky “ where it broke off so it was an easy fix (we had tried at home with no luck)! Incredible!!! Highly recommend!!

We were attended in a professional manner and I felt trust as the concerned gentleman tactfully told us that he would be able to diagnose the problem with my Google Pixel in a few days time .When I called in to check I was directed to the Supervisor who told me that they were on the job and in the process of opening the screen. The updates were sent to me as committed and I could go and pick up my phone for claim. The gentleman also gave an estimate quote or problem description as pre our interaction. CPR Plano did a great job of replacing the battery in my iPad Pro 9.7. My iPad is now holding a charge like new.

Overall a great experience. Deliver a convenient result with effectiveness to most degree. However beware, when coming here this DOES void your normal repair warranty for all major phone manufacturers such as Apple with their AppleCare. I took my phone here to be repaired as it was the only place with a decent wait due to the pandemic. The product was delivered very quick and effectively, however when replacing my screen, the cord to my Face ID was cut and rendered completely useless... that being said the screen was repaired nicely and quickly, however sometimes flickers and dims, but no major problems. Overall not too bad if you’re looking for a quick and easy fix, but overall not the best when looking to repair an iPhone.

Brought my broken phone in for repairs, and while they didnt manage to fix it they were very receptive to what methods I insisted they try before giving up. They even recommended a data retrieval company for me to refer to!

They refused to fix their mistake. My speaker goes in and out as well now. Just take your iphone to Apple. Dont waste your money here.

Two weeks ago, my wife had her screen replaced on her iPhone. They completed the job in a timely manner on the same day of the incident. Two weeks later, she picked her phone out of her purse to find a new crack in the screen despite no trauma to the phone. She has had it in a case since the screen replacement. Upon further inspection, the screen is lifting up in one corner, which indicates that it may not have been installed properly to begin with.I came back to the store to ask about a possible warranty replacement. I was informed that despite the likely improper installation, that any crack on the screen limits what they are able to do. They would happily sell me a new screen for $94 + tax this time as opposed to $109. As someone who owns a retail business, I know that my vendors would be able to make this right. I also understand paying for labor on fixing this a second time. Whether it’s a manufacturer’s defect in the screen itself, or an improper installation which lead to the hairline crack and lifting, this business was unwilling to reasonably take care of either issue when there was admittedly no sign of trauma.I’m more than happy to revise this review upon communication from anyone from CPR who is able to address this in a way that can resolve this issue. Until then, getting repairs here is a gamble that might not be worth the savings in comparison to going to an Apple store. They are cheaper but lack quality service in making things right above and beyond a larger company.

I was out there for a repair and had a very bad experience. My phone seemed to have a hardware problem and the guy at the shop never cared to look in to it and started telling me that the issue could be due to my phone still under a locked status . Not sure what the concern was but he never cared to look in to the issue .

The team at CPR in Plano just saved years of my life from being erased! My iPhone 7 Plus started having issues - what they called boot loop where the phone constantly turns off and on.Well I initially went out and got a new phone and tried to restore it from a previous backup. All of the backups were encrypted with a password on itunes that I could not recall. And there is no way to reset that password without having access to the device (discovered this after talking to Apple for 30 minutes)So there was no way to access my old phone or the old backups - i had to get the iphone repaired. After researching local options, CPR had the best reviews. Within an hour I had my phone fixed and repair, and I can sleep knowing that all the contacts, pictures and notes from the last several years are accessible. I wish I grabbed the employees name, but yall are the MVP!P.S. - Make sure you remember your encrypted password for iTunes!

Great service all round

Brought my Gakaxy S9 in because the rear facing camera wasnt focusing after I got it back from another shop, they had to replace the back glass that broke again after only two days, and I wasnt about to trust the other shop with my phone a second time. Told them about the problem and went over cost options. I was ready to $100+ for a new back glass and camera and labor. When I went to pick it up I notice right off they were able to remove the back glass without breaking it more. I turned on the camera and it was back to beautifully focused pictures. He told me the camera was left loose in the socket. I paid only for the labor of opening it up. Lot less than I expected. If this shop is near you, I recommend them for your repairs.

I was fixing the trade in my note 8 any got the screen cracked Badly while I was transferring my files it overheated Cama is it take the cover off .Every place else whats the change the whole Thing for $270 but they just changed my screen for $130 .I Got a $10 discount for paying cash.

I went in to CPR Cell Phone Repair in Plano for what I thought was a problem with my cell phone port being worn out. I was not able to get my phone to recognize the lightning cable, so charging became a major issue, day after day. Jared greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in. He immediately thought it was an issue with lint inside the port. He cleaned it out, and we verified that the phone was then working properly. He wouldnt take any money from me to fix this. Instead, he gave me his card and said that if I ever needed anything to please call. I was really blown away by his customer service and honesty. I know that another place couldve easily convinced me that the phone needed a $65 repair to replace the port. I will absolutely be back, and I will absolutely recommend Jared and the team to anyone I know. When you find great service, you have to hang onto it for dear life! GREAT JOB, GUYS!!!

A few weeks after I got my new iPhone 6 plus, a friend of mine knocked it off its perch onto the rocks below. The screen didnt shatter, but the corner has been cracked for almost 2 years. Ive lived with it, and all the minor annoyances that come with a broken phone, but I want to gift it to my grandmother. No one gives broken stuff to their grandmother. The CPR folks fixed it flawlessly. They even got rid of an issue with the display at the same time. Five stars? Ha, I rate them One Happy Grandmother - you can keep your stars. I visited CPR on Sunday afternoon because my phone had an excessive, loud vibration. Jared and the tech in the back were able to fix my phone within a few minutes. They were friendly, fast, courteous, and offered excellent service. I highly recommend visiting this establishment if you have any issues with your cellphone.

Awesome experience working with them. We brought an IPhone 6S for a screen replacement because we had a flicker and cracks. After we got it back we had an issue with the screen going black and the phone pressing the screen. They took it in and solved the issue (something was pressing on the motherboard.) Just overall friendly and good about explaining what was going on.

Excellent service. I took my phone in to have my cracked screen replaced and they did a great job. After that, I noticed my phone kept saying that an external audio device or the headphones was connected. I took it back and they were able to take a look and fix it while I waited. I would highly recommend that you dont drop your phone, but if you do, CPR can help.

Professional and did the job after Apple to me it was in-repairable and the only option i had was to buy a new phone. This issue with my phone is an known issue with Apple. CPR did mention to me that the 7 has this issue; which i appreciated them letting me know; Apple did not offer that information. Would use them again.

I went in there to get my iPhone X screen fixed. It was really cracked and usually at places it could take up to 30 minutes to an hour, but they finished it under 20 minutes and i was out! They will not disappoint! 10/10 recommend!

Im happy they did, because I felt more comfortable about the professionalism and courtesy I received. They performed the replacement in about an hour while I waited and confirmed that everything was working before I was on my way. Didnt want to have to replace a phone screen, but not at all disappointed about where I went for the service. Thank you.

Great Service, great customer service and quick repair.

My experience was really bad with this shop.. customer service was the worst. I bought a battery for my phone and after less than 7 months it went bad and stopped keeping the charge for more 3hrs. After visiting them they didnt want to help in anyway and just tried to sell me another battery..

It took 2 weeks to order the parts for my phone after prepaying $86.00. They keep telling me it was on back order and they would call me when it came in but they never did. Very disappointing on Customer Service.

I walked into the store thinking I needed a new battery for my iPad. CPR determined it wasnt the battery that was the problem, and I walked out with my iPad working and only spending about 1/3 of what I expected. Good/honest service.

Got a new phone and couldnt use the service providers app for transferring data from the old one (really old one) to the new one so I stopped in for help. The gentlemen there (I didnt get his name) was so helpful. He quickly resolved the problem at no charge! I tried to pay something but he wouldnt accept. Great service, spotless store, and more than helpful staff--earned them 5 stars for the 10 minutes I was there. Thank you!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE, we were able to fix the screen from our iphone 4 for only 40 dollars, wow! and it took like only an hour. The manager has a very smart business mind and we got a pretty good deal on our phone.

I stopped by here today during lunch to see if they could help me with a phone I bought off of eBay. The technician was extremely helpful and helped me figure out the guy I got the phone from on eBay must have ripped me off.
