Now myeyedoctor.com but their staff is great, very friendly and professional.Plan on being their longer than before when it was First Eye Care. I arrived on time for my 10am appointment and left around 11:15 which is about 30-40 minutes longer than before.I waited about 15-20min after checking in, did the pre-exam diagnostics which now includes the retinal photo that was optional before which added $39 to the cost.Post exam, I was asked to wait again for a new step when before I would be checking out and going on my way.A few minutes later, the post exam sales pitch began to purchase glasses, contacts for a year, etc. through myeyedoctor.com. It took another 15 minutes to work though that process and get a copy of my prescriptions and the 2 boxes of contacts that insurance covers.My advice is to not take a seat and wait again after your exam...head right to the checkout and order what your insurance covers there and you will be back on your way in less than an hour.

Just drove an hour to pick up my glasses because the website says they close at 5:30. They close at 5. Love the team here but please correct the website so people arent wasting their time.

I don’t know where I should start: I walk in to this location and I get checked in. The eye tech guy who does the exam and the eye test is always fantastic but is the only part that was good about my visit. I do my eye visit with dr Bailey and get my new contact prescription. Here is when the problems begin: they sit me down to check out and pay. I politely ask for my contact prescription (because I get my contacts elsewhere) and dr Bailey tells me that sure I can get it but asks me why I need it. I tell her in front of the office staff members (3 people), that I use 1-800 contacts and I prefer ordering them myself. Everyone turns and looks at me if I said something that offended them. The guy who is helping another employee make a purchase looks dead at me and says, “ oh we can get them for you, price match them and send them to your house”, while looking at me up and down and giving me the elevator look, judging me. I declined. I told them I prefer to order them. Next, Dr Bailey says, “we prefer to order them for you because we don’t know what Cambodian warehouse they are coming from and the batches are not consistent with other ordering them though 1-800 contacts.” She says that in front of all employees. I have never felt so disrespected to ever. Every time I go and try to get MY prescription they always refuse to give it to me and always has an excuse of why I can’t receive it. Lastly, the guy who was checking out the other employee heard the phone rings and tries to answer it but the person hangs up and says in front of me at the check out counter to the dial tone on the phone,” oh thank you so much for hanging up on me I really do appreciate it”, in the most sarcastic and snarky tone ever. I guess they don’t have any customer service skills or respect for any type of customers. Maybe it is best for this location to take a class on professionalism and customer service. Will be call corporate and complaining.

Dr. Bailey is so kind, caring, professional and thorough. The staff are equally nice and attentive. I had gone to First Eye Care on LBJ since 1994. When I moved up North of 121, I was worried about changing eye doctors but saw this First Eyd Care was affiliated with my old one (not all are) and it was a seamless and stress relieving transition. I am blessed to have found such a wonderful eye doctor.

Dr. Bailey is good, but the wait time and the staff helping to schedule - they don’t tell you why you’re waiting, the usual minimum wait time here is an hour before you get to even see an assistant to help take your readings or any other support for whatever appointment you’re there for. The time management is really bad. They can make you wait somewhere between 1-2 hours, but if you are 5 mins late due to something important, you might have to reschedule your appointment. No Value for the patient’s time.

The staff at this location is helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! Dr. Bailey is the best eye doctor I have been to. I have more understanding about my eye health and how to resolve minor discomforts. Plus, the frames selection is top-notch. I always enjoy finding the best frames for style and comfort.

The optometrist is lovely, but I waited 3 months for the glasses to be ready, understand with the whole Covid situations but theres literally no communication after I placed the order and no apologies given for the long wait and no communication initiated from the staff after placing the order. No effective communication and left clueless. Disappointed.

I love First Eye Care and wouldnt go anywhere else. I love all the doctors, and they are so good with my daughters as well. They will tell you when your prescription hasnt changed, so you know theyre not just all about taking your money. They also care about your time and get you in and out quickly. I came in one time on a time crunch, and I could tell they really cared about making sure I made my next commitment.

From start to finish, you will not be disappointed!! The front desk personnel are so friendly and helpful. They are willing to answer any and all questions.Dr Bailey is absolutely wonderful!!! She is patient; explains in answers that are honest and understanding; answers all your questions; very patient.Her assistant is amazing! He is wonderful to talk to, answers questions, informative, and helpful.Overall, I would highly recommend this team! I have had great experiences.

I’m a long time patient of Dr Baileys but due to scheduling conflicts I had to see a new Dr for my annual & she was bomb!! Very thorough & took her time explaining my results. Thanks Dr.S & I still love Bailey too! God bless the staff ❤️

Scammed me into getting a contact lens prescription for the next year in addition to my glasses, charged for it. Then, refused to fill the prescription the next year, saying that I need to get a new one and have an exam. Stay away.—Update—I have double checked, and the location is correct. I do not use my full legal name online. I got a callback from doctor Bailey, and she’s clueless as to why her staff refused to fill my prescription. They promised to call back the next day. However, I don’t know whether I want to deal with this office anymore, as they drove me to an anxiety attack. I couldn’t breathe for the rest of the evening. This is not what I should be getting from my eye doctor.

Dr. Bailey was great! Professional, thorough, and very courteous. Would definitely come for an exam, but would recommend elsewhere to fill a prescription. Glasses were quoted 7 days (which, is still a long time to begin with), but didnt arrive until 11 days later. The selection was alright, not very diverse on styles. The front desk staff was kind, but felt a little rushed at the beginning of my visit.3 stars for great service from the Optometrist, and the front desk staff. Minus 2 for long turnaround time, limited selection, and no satisfaction guaranteed offered on the frames. I rarely return things but the option is comforting especially for something Ill be wearing on my face everyday.

I decided to leave my glasses and go to Costco eye care.By the way the doctor does not know what she is doing. I have had issue with her prescription for a year. I went back for an annual exam and her prescription startled me for my lenses and glasses. i decided to go to Costco and the doctor is mature, knowledgeable and professional. yes, the prescription at west plano was incorrect.

I have been going to Dr. Bailey for 3-4 years now- each appointment Ive had, the office has gotten me in on time and Dr. Bailey has been in to see me as soon as Im wrapped up with all the standard tests. Everyone on the staff is always friendly and helpful. I have not ever ordered any glasses or looked at frames there in the store- I cant speak to that side of things. First Eye Care West Plano also has a great texting app they use to set up appointments and remind you of your appointment- I love having that as a quick way to confirm / schedule everything.

This was my first visit and very impressed, great service and knowledge. Dr. Bailey was thorough and made sure I understood all my options. Would highly recommend this place to anyone needing Eye Care.

I have been going to First Eye Care for over 5 yrs. I have NEVER had any issues or complaints. In fact, they are very excellent in their service and kind and considerate in their treating their patients (from the front desk to the Doc) I have been worked in, given extra advice and been sent to other places that can repair my glasses quickly. Dr. Bailey is an excellent Dr. and sees all 5 members of my family. We have had various eye issues and Dr. Bailey has treated all conditions in an excellent manner. I cant say enough about what wonderful service they give.

Everyone was super friendly and nice. Never kept me waiting more than a couple minutes. They have a nice selection of glass frames to choose from.

Dr. Bailey is great. She was thorough with her diagnoses and her bedside manner is impeccable. I sat in the lobby almost an hour past my appt time as a new patient. I was told an estimate of 7-10 working days to get my glasses in. A week and a half later I find out there was trouble with the lab and they had to redo my left lens. I only know of this because I called to find out an update on when I should receive my glasses. Today (a week later) I call back for ANOTHER update and am told it should be here by the end of the week. I understand that there is no control over the lab who make the lenses, but the front office staff should be more proactive about notifying their patients of delays.

Dr. Bailey is caring and wonderful. Recommend highly! My entire extended family uses this practice and we couldnt be happier with the doctors and the office staff.

This is the WORST office I have ever had to deal with & my kids PCP makes me wait over an hour every visit just to see the doctor. Natalie in their office racially profiled my brother. She for 1. would not let me speak with an office manager, saying it was her but refused to give me the 1st initial to her last name (any office manager I know will give you their full last name with no problem) & 2. not let me send a check through mail for the reason its just our office policy. I questioned why that was the policy & she stated that she needed a copy of my ID - I stated I would send one with the check and that was not good enough for her because I had to be there in person for liability reasons. I work at a doctors office and have never heard of any of her excuses. I believe that it shouldnt matter your race! I feel bad for the doctor and think that she should look into hiring a new staff. I will never be going back to this office and will be reporting them to the BBB!

Dr. Sarah B was great. I was having eye issues, and the Doctor switched me to a different brand, gave some medicine drops prescribed, and my eyes have never been happier. Great care and thoroughness. Couldnt be happier. I had just gone to another optometrist 2 months earlier and was having all sorts of eye dryness and uncomfortable eyes that still werent clearing up. She solved the problems for me.
