Doctor Butler was excellent with my 5 year old! Excellent service!
My family and I have been long term patients of Dr. Butler and his staff at TSO Round Rock. Its always great to have our annual examination or other visits to see the whole team and catch up on events. I highly recommend Dr. Butler and his staff for anyones eye care needs.
The Staff very friendly, and helpful. Like Dr Butler really nice Dr.
The staff at Texas State Optical are very professional and very accommodating, they helped me a great deal today. Ill be glad to receive my new glasses.
I have been there about three times to have my new scripts put in my eye frames. They are so absolutely, friendly, caring, and professional. Excellent work done on my glasses.
We have been going here 9 years and will never go any where else. Dr. Butler’s staff is great and he is awesome! He’s friendly, smart, and punctual! No complaints! Thank you!
Truly enjoyed our 1st visit at this office! We were greeted immediately, such friendly staff. Dr. Butler took his time with my husband & I, answered our questions, explained thoroughly, improved a treatment I was doing. Such a great experience, glad to have found them!!
Everyone is so friendly and helpful, even when Crystal has to explain how to use the machine multiple times because My brain wouldn’t cooperate. Love the staff and Dr. Butler is fantastic and answering all of my questions. :)
First time patient and was very pleased with the staff an how welcoming would recommend them to friends and family
Got in quickly. Always friendly. Good place to go for all your eye needs!
I have been going to Dr Butler for a long time He and his staff are wonderful!!! Love Eva!!
Got in, got my exam done, and got out once everything was finished. Straight into the point and very helpful. They were even able to squeeze me in for an emergency check up when I have an eye infection.
TSO has always been a great place for me to go to get my eyes checked. The staff and Dr Butler are always so helpful and treat me with the upmost respect. I highly recommend this place for your vision needs.
Ive been with Dr Butler for over 4 years. He and his staff have very pleasant to work with..I truly enjoy Dr Butler. He has helped keep my vision clear.
My wife and I both go to Dr. Butler. He is by far the most professional and friendly optometrist we have been to in years! He is extremely thorough and has a very friendly staff.
We have been going there for a few years now and each time Dr Butler ans his staff have gone above and beyond assisting us. The girls in thr front ar great answered all my questions. They are all great with my kids. I love how Dr Butler interacts with my kids. He makes them feel comfortable asks them questions and listens to them . Girls up from are great. No issues with any of them. We look forward to our next visit.
They didnt put my appointment in their system. Im 100% certain its their fault. I put time, date, location, and price in my calendar when I made the appointment. Walked 20 minutes to be told we dont have an appointment for you but we can see you at [3.5 hours later]. Walked 20 minutes home to look for a new optometrist. Sigh.
Dr. Butler is awesome but his staff is not good. Waited a really long time for contact lens fitting appointment. There is an extra fee for this, but was not told upfront, was a surprise during check out. Messed up my appointment, and changed it. You can tell they are just trying to get you out the door asap. Been coming here for 3 years but looking to change.
Had a great experience with the staff and the Dr. Even my kids loved it!
Mr.butler was awesome but the only reason i gave the office 3 stars was because of the young lady at the front desk seems like she always has an attitude. Ive been to the office twice and she wasnt so pleasant, Ive even called up there to get my PD and i asked was the number she giving me for SINGLE PD or DUAL PD she says its the total number with an attitude, i explain i understand that but for which one. she says i guess single with an attitude again . she needs better customer service and need to be more welcoming
Do not go here !!!!!!! I would give it negative stars if I could. After having been examined by Mr. Butler he led me to the front to see me out. I asked him what the difference in the numbers he recorded (I had an older script) and he said they were hardly noticeable. He left. I inquired to the optician what the numbers meant and she said she would go back and ask Mr. Butler. She did, and came back with the answer the numbers are there because this is what he wants you to wear. Most unprofessional manner I have ever seen by someone you should trust with your health. Maybe it was because he heard me tell the optician I wasnt there to buy glasses. I will report him to VSP as they sent me there and any other professional organization I can find. His, Mr. Butlers behavior was disgraceful and unethical. Avoid him at all costs. This is the first review I have ever written because I feel strongly about highly unethical behavior !
Weve been coming here since it was Dr. Rogers office. Dr. Butler has done a great job taking over the business. As long as Eva is there, I will forever be a loyal customer. Shes what keeps me coming back. Always kind, helpful, and I trust her opinion. Its not just the doctor that makes an office successful.
He opened his office an hour earlier to see my husband who had had a detached retina. He is a one of a kind doctor who goes the extra mile for his patients. I have a vestibular disease that affects my vision at times and other doctors have questioned a million things but he understood quickly and helped me find a good solution to my aging eyes. His staff is also very very good. They work really hard to make you happy.
Sad to have give a negative review because Dr. Butler is nice, but Ive had problems since my exam in August. Ive made several contacts to the office staff and they are unresponsive. This has cost me time and money. I wont return.
Friendly and helpful staff. Dr. explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. Short wait time to see Doctor which us always great!
Dr. Butler is very kind and understanding. He takes his time with each patient, explains things in detail, and doesnt push services that you dont need. He is great with my daughter as well.
I absolutely love the Doctor and staff at this location. I take 3 kiddos, (8,6,5), all at the same time. They make it so fun and painless for this momma. The kids have a great time and look forward to it every year.
Dr. Butler very kind and patient. More importantly very knowledgeable and thorough with my families eye exams. In addition the ladies in the front office were very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with my visit.
I have been a patient of Dr. Butlers for a few years now. He is very thorough. Office staff is patient and they provide great customer service. Love the new renovations.
I needed to have my lenses moved from one broken pair to an identical pair and they did it for me for free and even cleaned the lenses!
Saw Dr. Butler for routine exam, was seeing double with crossed eye. He found an ophthalmologist who specializes in correction of double vision, who took my insurance. Got my eyes fixed, got great new glasses from TSO. Great service!
The staff at TSO Round Rock provides top notch service. Dr. Butler is excellent, taking time to review your concerns and making sure you are completely satisfied with your lenses/contacts.
This by far is the nicest place Ive been to have my eyes checked the doctor is so nice and he listens the staff is so so nice and they listen and they have all the latest technology just love it there and I recommend my friends and family to get their eyes checked there
Dr. Butler is amazing. He listens to his customers and truly cares about them. Thank you, Dr. Butler, for all that you do.Lynda John
The staff here are so friendly and do whatever they can to help with no hassle at all. Every city Ive lived in, I always go to the local TSO. This one is by far my favorite.
Dr. Butler is a phenomenal optometrist, my daughters enjoyed their appointments. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, & really are customer oriented.
I started out really liking this place! Very friendly! Dr. Butler was very kind, patient, and accommodating. He gave me a paper prescription for my contacts, and set me up with some glasses. He had me try some contacts, but they were way out of my price range, and I wanted to keep using mine. No worries! Well, since then we have moved, and I misplaced the paper copy he gave me for my contacts prescription. So I called this morning to get that same prescription emailed to me, so I can order my contacts online, which saves me about half the cost. At first, Amanda was polite, but in the end was telling me I had to come in to get it finalized. I explained to her that i’d Already been given a paper copy when I was there... so what needed to be finalized? Did he give me a bad prescription?! I didn’t believe that. It sounded like they wanted me to come in, so i’d have to pay out more money. Not doing that! I asked her if she could just send me the same thing he’d given me day of (I think this may have been June or July.) I asked her if she was willing to help me, or if i’d have to figure something else out. She said yes, you’ll have to figure something else out. I simply laughed and hung up. Like, really? That was not what I expected from what I thought was such a nice place. All I wanted was for them to send me the exact same thing the doctor had given me ALREADY! Not try to con me out of more money. I called back and asked for a manager, of which Tamra said she was “the closest thing to it,” being the lead optician. I began to explain to her that I felt Amanda did not help me, and that she was kind of rude about it, and this woman CUT ME OFF!!! I am the customer! Clearly she is NOT the manager, and definitely not cut out to be one. She said she heard EVERYTHING (if she’d had heard both sides, maybe she would have identified that the level of service was below par, and that she was not helpful.) I was immediately offended, that she wouldn’t listen to me (the customer.) The very first step in customer service is LISTENING! She repeated several times that she’s “going to cut me off right there” and persisted I was in the wrong. She still refused to listen to me! She kept talking over me, and insisting that she speak. Unbelieveable!!! I have had some bad customer service experiences, we all have. But this, this was blatant. I’m still blown away. She hung up on me three times. Each time, I got a little more upset. I am a director in the hospitality industry, working in customer service for over 10 years. This woman, with the way she spoke to me, would be written up immediately if she were a manager. She may not be, but she very much deserves a reprimand, and a lesson in customer service. The last phone call I told her to not hang up, which she then decided she’d have the doctor call me... GOOD IDEA! After how much money I’ve spent at this place, and now the horrible service I received, I will not be returning. I will also make it a mission to ensure my neighbors, and my community, know what I experienced today. I will not say that I was easy to handle over the phone. I was upset, and rightfully so. And at that, I was NOT heard. However, being a front facing employee, Tamra really needs to work on her approach to customer issues and complaints. I will be sure the doctor knows my experience, as well as the board, of which I know a couple, well. (Another lesson in customer service, you never know WHO you’re speaking to.) I will not go to another Texas State Optical, again.
So first thing in the morning ing the receptionist greeted me and quickly got me through the test and had friendly small talk with me the whole time, then Dr. Ryan was So mice and friendly and informative and I appreciated that.. THEN the receptionist took her time with me to help me pick some snazzy frames for me and was so patient and friendly and I got some cute ones! Then the lady that helped me pick my glasses and pay for them and one thing I have to point out is a lady came in rudely exclaiming I had an appt on the 28th at 10! (Let me remind you it was the 20th and the 28th is a sunday..) they politely apologized and empathize and handle the situation SO Well. I was highly impressed.. and in all that chaos still made me feel extremely important! And when I went to pick my glasses up the lady was so kind and friendly and made sure I rocked those glasses perfectly before I left ! Honestly I didnt know I could enjoy a glasses experience so much but I am a very happy customer and I can SEE 👀 ❤
100% relable my glasses were there in no time. Dr. Butler was a excellent and friendly doctor especially with my granddaughter!
Great Doctors and staff. Very knowledgeable
Excellent service and excellent care! Highly recommended!
They advertise supporting VSP insurance, but dont carry any frames the meet the coverage plan maximum. Doesnt seem right.Workers were friendly.
We recently visited Dr. Butler and the staff at TSO for our twin 4 year olds preschool eye exams. Everyone in this office was phenomenal and provided us with a level of care that exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Dr. Butler and the staff at this office. In fact, well be moving out of Round Rock in a few weeks (to Bee Cave) and have already committed to making the drive back for our annual exam. Our twins were very well taken care of! The entire staff was so patient with our somewhat fearful, constantly distracted, 4 year olds. Dr. Butlers bedside manner was awesome and our boys were at ease and thoroughly enjoyed their exam. Highly recommend and we will return!
Great service from friendly staff
Excellent service, very friendly staff.
