The Master Eye Associates in Round Rock Texas has great customer service. I needed an exam asap because of an issue that came on pretty quickly. They worked with my schedule/availability and I was able to get an appointment the next day. Thank you for your care and concern for your patients.

This was hands down the best experience we have ever had. We were on vacation at a nearby resort when my son broke his glasses and lost the lenses in the water. We had only been at the resort for an hour and he can not see at ALL, his has a stigma and same day glasses would of been a no go. But I decided to try call and give it a shot. I explained the situation and they took us right in. The staff was so friendly a s understanding. I explained that we would have to go try and get glass somewhere after the doc gave him a script. When my son came out the doctor gave him a 5 day supply of contacts. She knew we would never get his script made anywhere in under 3 days no matter what the same day places advertise. She did not charge us for a contact exam only for he glasses. We were able to go back to the resort instead of trying to find a same day glasses place. Master Eye literally saved our family vacation. My son is near blind and our 4 day trip would of been ruined. I can’t say enough good things about every employee and optometrist at Master Eye. You should definitely give them your business if you are local. All of my kids have glasses so I have been dealing with these issues for over 20 years, and they are by far the best we have ever used ! Thanks from the Morales Family

Very courteous and professional staff. I would highly recommend this location. I’ve been seen twice now, once for a glasses prescription and also for a scratched cornea. Both times I walked out very happy with the service. The staff is knowledgeable and i appreciated being informed of what insurance may cover or not ahead of time.

When asked they gave me an upfront estimate of cost and their card. Did a walk in appointment the very next day & I was seen immediately.Very professional service that was quick and not a penny over the estimate.

Dr. Emily Jordan was very professional and very thorough. She explained so well and broke everything down in laymen terms. I was there for glasses and contact lenses. All of the staff were great. They thoroughly explained each test they were doing and were knowledgeable about how different tests changed since previous times I have had them done. Everything was quick, easy, and painless!

I first visited this location back in June 2020. The office staff was not friendly or welcoming. However, my optometrist was awesome so all was not lost. Now, I am trying to order contacts and called the office 35 minutes ago. I was left on hold until the phone started ringing again and eventually until the line hung up. Ive been trying to call back and no one has answered the phone. I will pick up my prescription tomorrow and take my money elsewhere moving forward. I do not like poor and inconsistent customer service, especially regarding healthcare.

Honestly I accidentally made an appointment for this location instead of Round Rock Vision and once again I am reminded why Round Rock Vision is superior. First off, this is the only office I have been charged a contact fitting fee. They literally code it or classify it a specific way to charge you an extra $60 at your exam where your insurance won’t cover it. I’m aware I sound like a “Karen” but seriously I have gone to Round Rock Vision and Burkley Eye center and I have never had this fee and I have worn contacts for years.I asked for them to double check my insurance and instead the receptionist printing out my benefits after I stated I’m very capable of contacting my insurance and getting an explanation of benefits.Their staff all having attitudes include the lady on her phone rolling her eyes and this poor way of billing is why Round Rock Vision across of 45 was packed today and why they are struggling for business. Please take your business elsewhere.

They were super friendly and got everything done quickly. It was my first time getting contacts and they were really patient and helpful. Definitely coming here again.

Master Eye Associates is THE best place to go for an eye exam. The online scheduling process is past and easy, they took me back for my appointment on time, no waiting, all Covid protocols were in place, they were fast yet thorough, and their pricing was awesome! The people were kind and courteous, and very efficient. I have no complaints at all whatsoever and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Great Job!

The doctor is AWESOME! He acknowledged guests in the waiting area as he walked the others to the checkout counter. I didn’t realize he was the doctor until I went to the back. He was very thorough figuring out what was going on with my eye. He was relaxed, yet still very professional. The front staff can definitely take some pointers from him. But overall it was a good experience.

When I went to the front desk I wanted to understand why I needed to pay if I have insurance, so one of the clerk wasn’t very patient in explaining me the insurance coverage and charges, so some other nicer woman helped her and she took time to explain me, but at that point I felt the bad vibe. When I went to the Dr, he was friendly at first but when I started asking him question it seems that he didn’t like it very much, he was kinda in a hurry, he was talking too fast, they think that we know our eye same ways they do, so I wanted to make sure that I was understanding what he was saying but he didn’t show patience and empathy, it seems that my questions stressed him out, he even took a deep breath, you know the one that you take what something bothers you; some Doctors don’t understand how important is for patients to understand how our health is doing, overall I did not feel comfortable and I did not feel well helped, bottom line I will not go there again at all.

The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and made the process a breeze! Dr. Matthews was a very pleasant man and probably the most welcoming eye doctor I’ve ever had. Definitely making this my go to eye place from now on.

I have never been treated so poorly by office staff. Never saw the Doctor I walked out with my wife who is 8 Mos pregnant. Due to rude staff and poor treatment with attitude. Would not recommend and will not be spending my money here.

Only disappointment was that I didnt know, they no longer do glasses inhouse and I was hoping to get them the same day

Easy peasy 🤓. Both my son and I had our eye exam the same day. It helps to fill out the paperwork online. Got a temperature scan and some hand sanitizer before sitting down. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Dr. was patient and knowledgeable and willing to answer any question I had. My son said he had the same experience during his exam. I definitely recommend this location.

I called up their office to book an eye exam appointment and the front desk lady was just incredibly rude and irritable! I dont think anyone else has been this rude to me when all I did was try to book an appointment! I had a bad feeling about going there and ended up canceling my appointment.

Doctor was fine. But the text message and emails have got to stop in a 4 day period of time I received 7 reminders. 1 would have been fine. But PLEASE OFFICE STAFF stop with the reminders.

The SMS text forms are difficult to use. I tried 5 times to complete the patient information on my phone. Someone finally called me, and said they needed my email address to forward the link, even though they emailed me to remind me to set up an online appointment.Completed the forms, and went to the appointment. They asked me to wait, and after 20 - 30 minutes (I seriously think they were just then verifying my health insurance information) someone said they didnt take my health insurance. I asked if they accepted VSP, they said I could not use VSP because I was a diabetic, and they didnt accept Aetna. While waiting, I overhead that same person tell someone on the phone that they did not take Humana, either. I should have been told from the beginning that they did not take my insurance. They wasted my time while trying to complete the forms, and keeping an appointment they knew they were not going to accept any of my insurance.I work for the largest employer in Round Rock, and our campus is literally in Master Eyes backyard. Unbelievable.

I dont have insurance and going into this place and getting the prescriptions I needed was very easy. I needed both contact and eye glass prescriptions. I am an experienced user in both. They werent very busy on that particular day so I scheduled same day. They pulled me back early with no wait except for me filling out paperwork. They were very efficient. I felt the eye doctor (who was a female) was very competent and knowledgeable. It was a breeze through and through. I thought they would be more expensive and they wound up being cheaper than another place I had gone to.

The front desk staff/ receptionists are fine, but the doctor who was checking our eyes was in a hurry. She just wants to complete the eye examination as soon as possible and finish the appointment in as little as 1-2 min. She was rushing all the way. I understand she was in a hurry. There are no other clients at that time, so it is not a busy hour. No courtesy to clients in explaining the details, even though I have good insurance. Same experience for my wife as well. Seems the doctor is too busy to talk to clients. Will never visit again.

The optometrist that helped me was so welcoming and friendly! I wish I could say the same for the front desk staff, the gentleman that works the front seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else but at his job that morning, not a great first impression for a first time client like myself. Other than that, appointment was fast and easy. Overall an OK experience - looked at my final bill and was charged an extra fee for a retinal scan I didn’t realize was an optional thing, not a big deal but I appreciate when staff is transparent about charges.

This Master Eye is incredibly efficient! It is always an easy visit. I come in, check-in, get my eyes checked, and walk out in about 20 minutes. They are always friendly, and I love how quick they are.

I have never had my eyes checked before going master eye. It was really fast and thought it would be more to checking my eyes. My overall experience was great and was able to go right next door and got fitted for my new pair of glasses right after getting my prescription.

Was in and out in 10 minutes!! Which is usually a good thing I guess!! The young lady that took me back to do the testing before you go in to see the Dr was very sweet and professional. Then I went into the room and the Dr. literally flew thru the door hardly said hello, She started putting me thru the exam, no small talk, no asking me about my vision, didn’t ask me if I had any questions!!Flopped down in her chair after the exam, typed up the prescription, and out the door she went!!I’ve been to many Optometrist in my day, and never experienced anything like it!! When I left I was thinking to myself, Wow, like did she really just leave?Very unprofessional!!! I will definitely not go back!!

My eye exam was thorough and professional. Dr Kindla was very warm and personable and I felt like she genuinely cared for me as an individual. She even printed a picture of the eye drops she was recommending so I would have it to refer to. The office staff was friendly and efficient as well. I would go back again.

The waiting room is small and not fancy at all. The good thing though...Dr and technicians are very nice. The pre testing is all in once place. Not much walking around at all. I really enjoyed taking my Rx right next door to find my glasses.

This place is excellent. They have only interest in ensuring you have healthy eyes and good vision. They dont sell frames so you can rest assured that they are just there to be the best optometrist in the area.

Took my 1st ever eye check here with Dr. Daniel. Told you what, all of staff is straight A in friendly, reasonable, energetic, informative. They all great positive people that I has experienced with( unless you throwing negative charge in). They are care and share. Great experience I had has.

I have been trying to get an appointment for the last few weeks, everytime i call in the receptionist was very rude, it almost sound like she does not care about her job!! Let me tell you that my visit and consultation contribute in your paycheck.

Took a little bit to get started but once started the process was quick and efficient. The staff was professional and very nice.

Shop around, I can never use my insurance with them. They state that they supposedly provide better discounts on frames and glasses than what it would cost me to use my insurance. It doesnt make any sense, since thats the purpose of insurance, to provide you a better price at a discount. If anyone knows how to get around this selling tactic, please post.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I am not one to leave bad reviews easily. I understand that businesses have off days, busy days etc. However, there was ZERO excuse for what I experienced with this office. They had the wrong information on my daughters chart about a previous eye infection. I tried ordering contacts from an outside source and the Dr. Would not approve the prescription. Even though I paid the contact exam fee and he gave her contacts to try. He didnt approve of the contacts I chose, which is ludacris. When I tried to explain to the girl on the phone I would like a call back from the Dr. (Since the information they had in her chart was completely wrong) She said he was too busy. In the end, I did tell her to please relay that I would never be returning to their office with any of my children and I will leaving a review. I then get an email from the DR. stating I threatened him so he would do what I wanted. #1. I never spoke to the Dr. so how would know what I said? Furthermore, why would he sign a letter when again I never spoke to him.#2. They tried mailing me the letter but it never made it to me. Because they had the wrong address. Again, WRONG information in my daughters chart.This office is completely incapable and frankly its worrisome that they have so much wrong information in a paitents chart and act like its no big deal.Worst experience!!!!

Dr. Daniel Brinchman was friendly and professional. He was honest about the dangers of overprescribing and has an expert knowledge of the different kinds of contact lenses. He even took a sweet close-up pic of my eye, and then airdropped it straight to my phone so I could share with family! I will 100% recommend friends to Dr. Daniel.

My last place I went to, the dr over prescribed me my glasses and contacts so when I had my visit today, Dr Brinchman told me I had a stronger prescription that I actually needed. He was honest and Im just very happy with my experience in general! The staff are very friendly too! Im so glad I switched to them!! I will continue to come here for a very long time!!!

I highly recommend this practice, and heres why. Its more than just a place to get a prescription for glasses or contacts. Its a practice with a commitment to your eye health and your overall health. As we know, the eyes are an organ and just like any other organ, its function (or lack of proper function) can indicate that there may be other health problems going on. The burden of the physician is to try and communicate that to his patients, who may or may not completely understand. The business owner response to one of these reviews was top notch and informative.I have terrible eyes, and Ive been going to annual eye exams my whole life. We found some things in my eye that I didnt know was even possible to see with current technology. I am thankful for the physicians at this location for firstly, finding the things in my eyes, and secondly explaining to me whether or not I needed to worry about them.To Dr. Brinchman, I give him all the kudos. This is a guy that cares so much about his patients. It was very evident in my discussion with him. This is a guy that mounted his own hand sanitizers in each room to ensure that it met the standards of a healthcare facility. And it is a healthcare facility, not just a conveyor belt for prescriptions. Keep that in mind when visiting, and when being offered these optional tests. They need to get an overall picture of your health, thus why they even take your blood pressure. So, please give them a break. They care, thats why they offer other tests. Its not always just about the money. It might be for some other places, but not for Dr. Brinchman. He really has a heart.
