This is a professionally run facility; our climate controlled space was always at an acceptable temperature, clean and easily accessible. Our standard space was the same.The rental process was seamless, and the company provided immediate and thorough information about how to access the property, a map to my units, and instructions for online payment and management which was convenient and worked with no issues.Checkout was equally straightforward. Finally the staff at this location are friendly and helpful, always able to answer questions and ready to assist. I would definitely use this location again.

I had a unit here for over a year. I just cleared out. Due to moves, Ive rented from 4 (ATX area) companies over the past decade+. So Ive been around the storage block. I never review on a whim and if you read my other reviews, youll see I love to give raving reviews when such experiences are had. Its just not the case here.FACILITY - 3 stars3.5 stars for facility, as I havent had many issues with bugs. My prior storage unit provided dollys and had 24-hour access which was immensely helpful. This place offers neither.CUSTOMER SERVICE - 1.2 starsI had a good initial experience renting my unit. Hilda was extremely friendly and the process smooth. I really liked her a lot!When COVID hit, my finances changed and due to a new paycheck schedule (and amount), I was occasionally unable to meet the due date for this bill. *Never have I NOT paid, some months I just had no choice but to be late. I didnt complain but did have to deal with their daily calls and voicemails to remind me I havent paid. **Side note—EVERY OTHER account I hold (car, rent, cc, even tolls!) has been very helpful and willing to work with me and my new income schedule.The store manager Mickey is unwilling and in the few times Ive conversed with him over the phone, hes spoken in a condescending manner. A few months ago I had a personal matter coincide with my bill (oddly enough it happened to be on my Birthday as well). Given my compliance with fees, I thought perhaps theyd forgive 1 month of late fees if I explain. The conversation was uncomfortable from the start, and his responses disparaging at best. i.e.,Me: Hello, my rent is late. (I explain my personal matter but before finished)--Him: Nope we cant. Whats your unit number?Me (embarrassed): Im blanking out, its 180-somethingHim: We dont even have units that go to that number, heh (silence).Me: Perhaps Ive called the wrong location?Him: I dont know if youve called the wrong location...--Me: OK its the right location, last name is **Him: No account under that name.I do indeed have a unit here so Im not sure why he said no account popped up. I rummaged to find my unit number, paid my bill + insurance + $21.60 late fee. He was happy, we said our goodbyes.And so there you have the late fee saga.I do feel bad giving a low review. Im a believer in second chances when it comes to customer service, as we never know what someone else is going through at any given time. Unfortunately, after over a year with this Life Storage, its how I feel and its what I experiences here.

My experience at Life Storage was exceptional! Mickey and Hilda were very pleasant people to work with, such a user friendly environment! If I ever need a storage unit in the future, I will be back!!

The process of moving out was so much easier after I rented space here. I have a very small place and the boxes were piling up so I decided to look into storage units. Great service. The store manager Mickey was the one who helped me today. Very sweet, explained things well, highly professional, and helped make sure I found something that would work with my time frame and price limit.

We rented one of the small storage units from this location for about a year although the office can get busy at various times, I always felt like we were helped as quickly as possible. The unit that we had was easy to get to and the hours of access were more than adequate to ensure we were able to access our unit as often as we needed. I would certainly store stuff at this location again should be need arise.

Went into this storage faculty to price the units for a upcoming move. The young lady at the desk was very nice and knowlegable of the units. With her help i was able to decide what size of unit I will need. Was even offered use of moving truck they have on hand. Free popcorn also want esle you anyone want.

I reserved a space on their website so that Id have an easy and quick visit by their office to complete paperwork and finalize my unit rental, but this failed.When I got the office, which seemed like a place Id be happy to do business with, an old gentleman was on the phone seemingly trying to get their security system back online. There are two monitors in the front office monitoring the property, but one read No Signal. I picked this one partly because of previous reviewers conveyance of their feeling of security. Okay, tech issue or user error... It happens; no biggie.After a quick few minutes, he was off the phone, located my paperwork, and began going over fees. He mentioned I had a special, waiving the $25 admin fee. I pointed out I also got an online special saving me 50% off the first full months rent since this wasnt mentioned. He looked confused and said that wasnt offered. Of course, this is what closed me on their site, so I wanted to be sure it would be honored. I immediately reached for my phone containing the confirmation email while the gentleman insisted they have no offer for 50% off. Of course, the confirmation email sided with me (even worded as 50% off), but when I pointed this out, the old man stated, This is for half off of Decembers rent. This is November. (I wish I could convey the tone that was used.)I didnt know if it was ignorance that kept the old man from realizing 50% is the same as half, and December would be the first full month, or if he is just one of those people who hates being wrong so much they continue to run with their story.... But he did. As long as we are on the same page, and I get my 50% off my first full month, lets move on.Next he hit me with mandatory insurance that would be added to the monthly rent. This fee certainly wasnt obvious on thier site (like the 50% discount the representatives should be familiar with), but I couldve missed the fine print. $10 more a month... Ehh... Rack it up to hidden fees and lets get it done.Finally, I asked for clarification on what would be required if I moved my motorcycle into the unit... A likely possibility in a couple of months. Wording on their site on whether Id be storing a motor vehicle prompted this question. My question, again, was very simple and direct, What else will be required if I do move in my bike? Any additional fees, or just extra paperwork.The answer I got was initially very simple and direct. Id have to provide registration... Sounding like proof the bike is legally mine. Not an issue. Then, he stated Id be charged a tax. I asked for clarification, and it was explained that, the state charges us a tax, so we charge you. (Face palm)He then went on to explain he believes its 8.25%. This sounds like a TX sales tax. Now Im confused. I ask what the percentage is calculated on and the old man the explains, Well, if it were a dollar, that means youd be charged eight and a quarter cents.At this point, the incompetence was too much for me to deal with and I kindly stated Id be reconsidering my storage option. The reply from the old man was, That will be great.I was very puzzled by the way an eager-to-be-paying customer was spoken to in this manner, but it was enough to easily determine this is not the place I will be handing $600+ of MY yearly dollars. Id say maybe it was just bad luck and I got the new, unknowledgeable employee, but I dont think this is the case since I first heard him speaking negatively of a new girl when he was on the phone at the beginning of my visit.From my experience working for one of the largest vacation rental property companies in existence and conversations with 1000s of property owners and travelers that use our service, this guy reminded me too much of the horror stories I see of property owners who screwed over their tennants.
