They were efficient, hard working, happy and followed all safety and health guidelines. I greatly appreciated the special coverings for the wood, tile and and carpet. Where do I begin to explain how wonderful Wagner and his crew was with my move from CA to Arkansas. They were so personable and never took a break while packing up my stuff. They were funny and entertaining as well which helped to alleviate the stress. They were careful to make sure everything would be protected and nothing would be damaged on the road. The same was true when they dropped my items off to my new place, quick and efficient. I would highly recommend them.

Tyler, Alfonso, Cole, Tre x2 recently unloaded our belongings from a move to SD from Colorado of approximately 20k lbs. this team was the one bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience with North American Van Lines. The San Diego team was experienced, positive, careful, professional and experienced. I would highly recommend Oakley Relocation for loading/unloading needs. I wish their counterparts in CO (A-1 Freeman) could have demonstrated just a fraction of the professionalism of Oakley. A+ To the Oakley SD team, and an F to the CO A-1 Freeman team.

These guys were absolutely amazing. They remained professional and extremely helpful the entire time. Upon arriving, they set up a sanitation station and were all wearing face masks. I truly appreciate that. Mr. Hector made this transition seamless and the other 2 gentlemen, Chris and Angel we’re very efficient and careful with our belongings. They made sure cover up door frames and the floor/carpet to avoid any damages to my house. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team for my move-in process. This company was top-notch. My parents moved from one side of town to the other. The original moving plans never materialized so I needed to locate movers asap. I called on a Monday for a Saturday same-week move and this team made it happen. They really dedicated the time, attention, and effort to this matter. They answered all of my questions throughout the week in preparation for the big day in moving a 4-bedroom home. From the moment I called and had the manager Ashley come out to give me a quote for storage and a move from CA to Boston I knew I had chosen the right company.On move day the team of Mike, Matt, and Travis came out to pack up my framed pictures, and precious glassware. They did a great job of packing that up and packing all my furniture for storage.These gentlemen were congenial, knew their jobs and all went smoothly. They are an amazing team.

We are wrapping up the second day of an out of state move from Temecula to Colorado and I couldn’t be happier with the Oakley Relocation Team. Casey and Beth, working through Oakley Relocation, did a great job with our move across the country. We prepared carefully and they mirrored our preparation with very precise record keeping and also by orchestrating the loading and unloading of the van with teams that treated our things, including the homes, with care. They even shared some of their tape that was superior to the best that was available from big box hardware stores. They deserve the highest recommendation that can be given.

JoJo and Johnny were amazing! Friendly, prompt and efficient. I’d 100% recommend them to anyone looking to move! They had everything safely packed and loaded in an hour. Traci my Coordinator was wonderful during the entire process. I had a lot of stress and personal changes in addition to a huge move but she made it easy and made me feel like I was in good hands. I cant say enough wonderful things about my move with Oakley. I had the dream crew, Justin, Mike, Gil and Travis. They were polite, professional, great communicators and so incredibly hard working. I have personally moved every 3-4 years since 2002 and I have to say, this has been the best pack out we have ever had! Tyler, Marcus and Joe were attentive to every detail of our pack-out. They made sure to be very safe during this Covid19 pandemic wearing masks and keeping socially distanced while working non-stop! They were able to have us packed out in 8 hours and I thought it would take 2 days; as it has in the past when we had less stuff.I had questions about the actual date of our pack-out due to some confusion with our military coordinators. I decided to contact Oakley Relocation directly to verify information. Maryann and Jerilyn were extremely helpful and quick to respond, they answered all of my questions and sorted out my concerns! I am so pleased Oakley Relocation was recommended to me by Angie Scholl and that I was able to request them to be our moving company through the move.mil website.

Hector Ortiz and his colleague Enrique provided excellent, courteous and professional services!They took ample Covid precautions having separate Sanitization stations for both of them, wearing masks all the time, using sanitization and sticky pads for sanitization and cleanliness. I really wish I could give Oakley Relocation 5 stars. Unfortunately, after having them move us from San Diego to Colorado Springs, crating & putting our things in storage for 7 weeks, and then delivering everything, we had 9 pieces of broken, fairly new furniture. I’m not talking about just scratches or dents. I’m talking about a dining chair with a broken leg, a nightstand with a 6” chunk of wood missing off the side. I witnessed them dragging my dining tabletop along the floor as they tried to screw the legs back on scratching the entire top in the process. You get the picture. It was heart breaking as the movers brought this furniture into our house.Be aware that even if you purchase the full replacement value protection for your belongings (as we had) it is at the moving company’s discretion to either repair the item (or give you cash to repair) or replace it with like kind or quality (or give you cash to purchase). We really wanted them to replace a couple of things as the damage was pretty severe, but they settled with paying us a small amount to repair the items.Their “full replacement value protection” that you pay dearly for is very misleading & you can count on Oakley to not live up to this.We have moved several times throughout our life and have never had damage like this to our furniture.

These guys are pros.We moved cross country in 2018 and unfortunately used someone else. We had damage and an utterly smashed flat screen.This year we decided to use a national company, who subcontracts with Oakley. Nothing is ever really perfect and its not that easy to get day help loading or unloading in various cities around the country. But Oakley has a good system and they are professional. They wrapped everything well, re-assembled everything and took their time putting things where they were needed. Communication was really great. The driver Casey is just five star. We would definitely use Oakley again (but please dear god we shouldnt have to move any more.)

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. All pricing was clear and stuck to. Schedules were explained and adhered to and most importantly, EVERYTHING was delivered in perfect condition, and placed where we needed it. Robert, Tracy, and Trevor made my move a big success.

Our move was booked in Minnesota, so the San Diego delivery was just assigned to us. What a nice surprise, our crew from Oakley Relocation was excellent. They were pleasant, careful and efficient. Ashley did n amazing job estimating our move. It was complicated as it had two stops at the front and two at the back with various things from each stop going to different places. He was quick with the quote and up,front in all aspects. Then he assigned then crew.1. The packers Ernie (i think??) and Michael. What a real pleasure having them pack! They were so fun and i loved amazing them with my Alexa :) We all had fun listening to music and they worked very fast!! Our stuff arrived safely and though i havent unpacked everything, it sure seems like they did a stellar job packing. all my kitchen dishes and glasses are in perfect shape!!.2. The Movers. Kurtis and Justin were as professional as they come. Very methodical and careful with our belongings. They were here when they said they would be. everything was tagged nicely. Both were so nice and worked harder than i have ever seen movers work. Even worked extra hard to get everything in our storage unit. Moving cross state is stressful enough but they took the stress out of it.Thank you so much for getting us here to our new home!!!!!

Everyone was very professional and friendly. They showed up early and were done in 5 hours. Our furniture arrived at the promised time.Our furniture was placed directly into storage so a proper inspection was not done. One dining room chair was observed in a broken condition. Overall I am happy with the move.

These guys are very helpful. Had a guy come buy and gave me a reasonable quote on all my items. I have never moved outside of the state before and wasnt really sure what needed be done. One of there representatives gave me his card and answered any questions that came up. He also gave me a update when I asked what was the status of my items. I had all my stuff picked up and dropped off with care with nothing missing or damaged during the time they stated it would be there. I will definitely be using these guys again for any future moves.

I used North American Van Lines for a cross country move, and they in turn contracted to Oakley Relocation.Oakley Relocation lied about the weight of my load and increased my charges by 25% which they did not inform me until I contacted them to get false charges for boxing two mattresses which they did not do (I only have one mattress and I had packed it myself in a shipping bag I purchased myself from Amazon).I am certain they lied about the load because I had just moved 6months prior and had the exact weight information which was also from North American and I even showed them the paperwork. I had not even unpacked 80% of the load from that previous move and the stickers were still there to prove it. And I had only reduced my boxes and given away heavy items and they claimed I somehow had 700lbs more than I did before despite having fewer boxes??During the loading, there were two movers who did the heavy lifting and the driver named Miguel. One of the movers was Miguel’s brother. Both of those movers were very professional and competent and they did excellent work wrapping my couch in blankets, while the driver Miguel avoided any manual labor and just did the paperwork. I tipped each of the movers (including Miguel) $20 cash for a total of $60 and gave them Starbucks Frappacinos.During the unloading at my new residence, the driver Miguel only showed up with his wife who was shorter than me and weighs twice as much as his only “other mover.” Miguel the driver told me he did that to save $200 on hiring an actual mover. She couldn’t properly handle the hand truck and kept crashing into the walls of my new apartment and dropping things. He also parked the 80ft trailer so that it completely blocked in 5 of my neighbors.The driver also kept asking me to text him my address which I did three times including pictures of a map. I emailed the office my addresss and they did not communicate to him. But even though the driver had the texts which included photos of the map and exact instructions about what to type into GPS, he still got confused and lost and I had to drive out to find him and have him follow me. I had to help them unload because I just wanted this stupid and lying person out of my home and out of my life as fast as possible and I told him and showed him why I disagreed with his reported weight. He just kept arguing with me and letting his wife struggle to unload the truck.I’ve used North American for so many years and for multiple moves. Because of this shameful and horrible experience with Oakley, I will never use them (North America) ever again. They’ve lost me as a customer for life.I hope people read reviews and don’t let this unethical and poorly run company with lazy and incompetent people from the office staff to the drivers and handlers.I appreciate moving companies who provide a very useful and helpful service and which I am willing to pay well for and my other experiences moving with hired companies have been so much more professional and with integrity and great customer service.This company left me feeling completely scammed, frustrated, and was not worth the frustration of dealing with them for shoddy and poor work.

Well folks you learn something new everyday. The moving industry is a joke! And yet I believe this company is probably one of the best. The problems start when you dont have a rock solid system. But I believe the real problem is the use of subcontractors to accomplish most of your business.So the crew arrived on time and they start out like gangbusters, like everybody knows what they are doing. But if the customer is not completely ready, meaning everything is boxed and marked and separated, then it is very important to do a complete walk through with the whole team so everyone knows what goes on the truck and what doesnt. So one of the guys comes in and just starts putting their little tags on everything. Basically without even thinking. And there is no way the guy with the clipboard can keep up. Several marked items like unpacked expensive stereo speakers and other unpacked items were transported by me 3 weeks later.So as the day is winding down or maybe they have a time limit they tackle the heaviest stuff. Meaning a massive master bedroom set which is upstairs. I do not believe it was wrapped properly to begin with, BUT EVERY PIECE WAS DELIVERED DAMAGED! We only moved two rooms of furniture but a ton of boxes.One of the big problems was when we got to the garage there were mostly just big items. I specifically told the guys not to take any boxes marked Moms China. But a couple of boxes were put in the truck. When I opened that box every piece of China was shattered.NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM. WHEN THE TRUCK GETS TO OUR NEW HOME IN BUCKEYE, AZ THERE IS A DIFFERENT CREW TO UNLOAD THE TRUCK. I think most of the damage was done by the unloading crew. And as they were rushing to get done, which means they get paid a set amount to to the job, they just started putting stuff in the garage without asking where it goes. And they didnt even bother looking at labels on the boxes.They showed up at the house without extra packing material INCLUDING THE KIT NECESSARY FOR THE WASHER. The salesman said they would have one with them. The washer arrived broken so we will have to get it fixed because its not very old. Of course he also said they would put a film over the TV screen which they did not. But the items they did pack were fine.Here is my take away on the whole process. When you have a different crew loading and unloading there needs to be some type of check required to verify the condition of the big items before they are unloaded. Out of 24 pieces of hard furniture almost every piece was damaged. Including a grandfather clock.I would recommend this company if they used the loading crew on both ends. They were much more concerned about how they did their job. The unloading crew just wanted to get done as fast as they could.

So the pros our guy estimated our move about 1.5 tons less than what it was. My family left before the movers arrived we had confidence in the company since they had great reviews. I had family members at the house when they arrived, the directions given were simple everything inside the house goes to the new house everything outside in the shop and 2 sheds goes to storage simple right. Wrong the truck arrives at the storage unit to drop there first, our unloaders almost didnt want to unload the truck there was boxes of tools weighing over 100 pounds stacked on top of dishes and photos, if the box had fragile items in it we marked it fragile, the unloaders took photos to send to there boss to cover their own jobs. There were boxes opened and rummaged through, we were even left with other peoples stuff that moved to another state as well .We have broken dishes and keepsakes from my father that passed away last year. If I took something apart to be moved the bolts were put in a Ziploc and taped to the items I have furniture that has to be thrown away because we dont have the parts to put it back together. The real kicker is one box containing over a grand in merchandise is missing a new laptop 2 printers multiple external hard drives with family photos that cant be replaced. I took 4 people 9 hours to load a pre packed house. The unloaders and the driver were amazing. Oh and I emailed Trevor twice with no response to date and our move was completed last Saturday. To top it off you have to sign that you received all your items even though you have no clue until everything is unpacked if stuff is missing or damaged. If we didnt have to pay the full amount up front they wouldnt have been paid at all. Thank you Oakley Relocation for screwing me and my family we thoroughly enjoyed it .
