The place is perfect for kids with special needs. They know how make my daughter to calm down and to be more relax. They really know what to do. They are really expert.

Took my son here as I wanted to look for an eye doctor that is located closer to where we live. Great experience, knowledgeable staff, and made my son feel very comfortable through the whole eye exam/process. Would recommend for anyone that lives in the Schaumburg area!

My 8 year old son was having problems learning to read and focusing at school. After an evaluation with Dr. Lorenzana, she recommended her eye treatment therapy sessions. I have noticed a HUGE improvement in his behavior and reading progress! He is now doing well in 2nd grade and his teachers have great things to say about him. I am thankful to Dr. Lorenzana and her wonderful staff-that are outstanding to work with!

Dr Lorenzana is one of the best optometrist around. I’ve been going to her for over 10+ years.She’s educational and believes in the body as a whole and sees all within our eye during our exams.She’s personable and she really listens when I talk about my health issues for example I was recently diagnosed type 2 diabetes two months ago and confirmed that after being on a vegan diet and exercise. She told me my vision improved and she doesn’t see any signs of symptoms of elevated glucose through my eyes!I love that she is a doctor that continues to learn about new technologies as an optometrist and the connection of our brains to our eyes.I recommend to see her if you want a more in-depth experience of your eye exam.

I had a great experience with my son’s visit at Dr Lorenzana office. Staff there is so friendly, and Dr herself has a great way of dealing with kids. Very nice experience! Highly recommended.

Well i have been seeing and using advanced vision center for many years now even b4 the name change way back when they were still in streamwood. they were great back then and have been consistently better, more professional, more knowledgeable. they are great to work with, fun to be with, makes u feel like family. I would most definitely highly recommend them to any one and every one looking for a outstanding, professional knowledgeable eye care professional. thank u to the advanced vision center and keep up great great work. Well when I posted this particular review I thought they were as good as as said in the review but I have since found out do my own experience with them they are not as good as I thought they were they told me I needed cataract surgery said they would get in touch with this with the surgeon and never heard from them after that after four phone calls never heard from that I had to find my own doctor and surgeon to take care of it so sorry to say I was wrong to telling the saying how good they were because they are not so good I would never recommend it to anybody

Staff was polite but billing is a big mess. Be careful, they will charge you whatever they want to. We will never come back to this place anymore!!!! so not trust worthy. For a regular eye check-up for my baby (no dilation, basically just look up and down for 5 min), i was charged $118+$35 co-pay AS MEDICAL when we have an vision coverage! How was that possible??? There was no medical involved at all and it was only for preventative eye checkup which was 100% covered by our insurance. You do the math! They only know money. We have never been charged a dime for our regular eye checkup for years with the save insurance at other places until we moved here and found this place. It was not the insurance like they responded it was them. I cant comment on the service and professionalism because it was a 5 min check up for my baby and only look up and down and toy then that was it but the charge and billing was absolutely terrible and i will tell everyone one i know who cares about money to not go to this place.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Lorenzana for at least 8 years. She is very polite and will happily answer any questions you have.

I can only assume most of these poor reviews are from people not using the primary service of this place.Sure, you can get standard eye care here, but their specialty is addressing issues a pair of glasses alone cannot fix.For instance, I have had issues with the alignment of my eyes, and they have significantly helped me with this. I cant speak to getting glasses here, but I would say thats akin to having a neurosurgeon put a band-aid on you cut, then complaining about his bedside manner.If you need specialized eye therapy, this is a good place to get it.

Went for the first time on Tuesday, 1/7/20. Everyone that works there is very nice, accommodating and knowledgeable!

Staff is very friendly and easy to work with. They do a great job, really good quality and thorough care.

I always had excellent customer service and enough attention from Dr. Lorenzana. Twice my contacts broke and were halfway stuck in my eye and she came 2 hours early than her regular office hours and helped me taking out those contacts. Not only she removed them and checked that there were no scratches she gave me few extra contacts for my use.I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs contacts/ eye glasses / eye exams.

I received a numerous amount of emails and text messages asking me to confirm my appointment. This was a great indicator that the doctor had time management skills. Wrong! I waited for 90 minutes for my appointment and walked out! Six other patients who came after me were actually seen. The appointment that was scheduled one hour after my appointment was sitting in a room. We were still in the waiting room. I was given the excuse that there had been emergencies which is understandable but not when the other patients were not pushed back one hour also.Although I received apologies when this was taking place and I was at the front desk questioning how much longer and apologies after I left the office without the appointment, no solutions were offered.

Be aware !They will sell you an INSURANCE for your glasses for which you obviously have to pay extra. When accident happen they change their story that you had purchased a WARRANTY which is of course not covering an incident!!!When I called them I spoke with Yesenia and she told me that if youll buy there an eye frame it comes with NO warranty and thats why they charged us extra in the first place (back then they called it an INSURANCE).Not mentioning that this little shady business will not call you as they promise when your glasses arrive and you better check if you are getting the right glasses because you may endup getting the wrong prescription how it happened to us.Long story short... if you want to get aggravated, cheated, loose your money and be frustrated then YES! - go and shop here! Dr. Lorenzana has always given me excellent eye care ever since I started going to her over eight years ago. Ive been wearing hard contacts for 57 years and through her evaluation, therapies, and exams it was noted that I had to stop wearing them because my corneas were affected and to start wearing soft lenses. I was fitted for soft lenses and to my surprise I had good vision. Dr. Lorenzana has a very gentle way to assure you about your vision problem. I respect her knowledge in the field of Optometry and will continue to keep her as my doctor in the future. Thank you, Dr. Ingryd for all the years we shared as doctor, patient, and friend.

You wait and wait and wait and wait. They are slower than all my other doctors put together. And they have you do repetitive paperwork EVERY time you come for an appt.! They have little kids running all over the place. I have been coming here for 15 years now since they were located in Streamwood. No more. They are terrible.

I had to wait for more than 2 hours for a basic check up. Pathetic. I have things to do; if you cant take me, dont tell me you can. I recommend any other place than this.

Ive been a patient for a long time. The staff at the front desk has always been very helpful and informative.My whole family sees Dr. Lorenzana on a yearly basis. She always takes her time to get to know her patients. She goes above and beyond to making sure that everyone is treated with the best care.Dr. Lorenzana has the passion to help people especially children.Within the last year Ive been very grateful for Dr. Lorenzana and the advanced vision center stuff.My children were struggling with reading and learning in school but they had 2020 vision. Dr. Lorenzana recommended Vision Therapy and it has been one of the best recommendations. I am so thankful that she is a huge advocate for Vision Therapy.Vision Therapy has removed major stumbling blocks on their learning. Sometimes I cant believe the big transformation from discouraged learners too excited learners. They can read well and enjoy it too!I recommend Dr. Lorenzana and her staff to be part of your care!
