I had the same eye doctor for 15+ years and unfortunately he moved too far for me so I was hesitant having to look for another eye doctor. Sure enough, RIGHT BEHIND MY HOUSE (never realized) was this place. Ivonne was WONDERFUL and I cannot emphasize that enough. The whole staff was very helpful and the doctors were very accommodating and thorough. I am so happy to have found this place SO close to home.

Amazing receptionist and doctor!!

I went there for an eye exam and to get a new pair of glasses, the employees were all very nice and professional. Great selection of frames too! They helped me select a frame and I am was satisfied with the service.

Despite negative reviews posted below;From the minute you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and helped accordingly. I was concerned that maybe my vision had changed and I was reassured that I would get the appropriate screenings that would meet my needs, since this would be my first time getting glasses. I was well informed about the procedures and how my insurance would come into play; no hidden fees, no games. The employee who helped me was very kind and helped me pick out my glasses for me that would fit my face. She took the time to bring out the ones that I liked, and the ones that she thought fit me well, but ultimately let me know that it was my decision on which ones to get. I left with a smile and no doubt about the glasses I picked out. I got the call a week later about my glasses being ready, and I am in love! I was scared about wearing glasses but after the help that I got, and how well informed I was the minute I walked out the office after my purchase, I will definitely be going back for my annual visit, since that is what is recommended due to the aging process and recommended by the CDC 🤗

Great doctor!very friendly, and he explained things well.I have astigmatism and diabetes and he was very knowledgeable and explained very well.He even gave me both dailies and monthly contacts to try.

This is definitely an office that is determined & diligent in solving problems. Apart from being friendly & courteous, the staff went above and beyond in helping me secure my prescription glasses when they realized that there might be a longer than expected delay in fulfilling my order. The doctor is warm & knowledgeable. Id highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new eye doctor or office to fulfill an eye prescription. Well done!

AccuVISION in Schaumburg is by far the most professional, friendly and accommodating place to get an eye check up and eye glasses or contacts. My whole family has been going for years, and has never been disappointed. Recently I had an eye issue and the doctor and staff went out of their way to help me. I know you will not be disappointed if you go too!

I was able to quickly get an appointment.I used a coupon for the checkup and was treated as if I had paid full price for the exam.They have a very nice selection of glasses. They also were wonderful in helping to pick out a style that looked great.Very professional...very nice staff and doctor!

My appointment was quick and painless. I had a 16m old in tow and they made sure he was having fun by giving him play glasses while I picked my own out! The doctor was very informative and even told me things I never knew about my driving restrictions and not having my glasses with me. The staff was fun and educated and made it an overall great experience. They have a great selection at great prices if you need glasses right away. Fantastic experience. Thank you!

I work in Customer Service and have never had a better experience at any doctor, eye doctor or dentist then here! From the minute I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed as a new patient. They were helpful in selecting frames based on my preferences and maximizing my insurance benefits. I was informed of things I never knew, like dont clean your glasses off on your shirt because the dryer sheets leave a film. The eye doctor was extremely helpful showing me what my prescription was and the new prescription. He explained how my vision differed and was very very informative. Everyone at this location has EXCELLENT customer service and thats what makes or breaks a business. I will not be visiting any other eye doctor as long as they are in business! I didnt want to leave...I had such a great time talking with both woman working! =) Highly recommend them.

I gave this place 1 star but they should get no stars. They are very rude! Made an appt for eye exam they knew I wore contact. Did the appt picked up my glasses and copy of exam so I can order my contacts on line cause they are so much cheaper than buying them from this place. Got the prescription and it only said glasses. The lady told me that it costs extra for contAct exam. Now they want 75 dollars for for contActs. This place is a ripe off don’t do here. For 30 years I have been wearing contact and never once have I even had a problem with my exams!! Don’t gov to this place they. Are money hungry and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!! Even at the time of the exam the doctor and I had conversations about my contacts and never once did he say anything about a different exam!! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!

Rude receptionists at the desk, one was an older lady who seemed to only care about herself and not the customer at all, the other, a younger woman essentially laughed at our faces over a small issue we were having. This place has some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time, I would have expected more from a place that seemed more professional.

Got glasses for my son and myself. The older lady at reception was extremely rude especially to my kids who are 7 and 2 years old. She kept giving me looks making me feel uncomfortable so i told them i would come back to select the glasses when the kids are not with me. The doctor there is nice and thorough. The girl named Bri is very nice but the other staff is very rude and do not expect them to go out of their way to help you. No customer service . I would not go there again.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. rude receptionists. the old and young ladies there were AWFUL. i had a problem with my contacts and they said it was my fault because i never scheduled a follow up EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDNT TELL ME THAT I NEEDED A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT. i wish i could take back my business from here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. NOT WORTH THE STRESS

They want to charge twice for services that were already paid for!!! I have a current prescription for glasses from this location that is not expired. I even purchased my glasses from them at the time. I want to now purchase a pair of sunglasses online (since my insurance only allows one pair of glasses per year). In order to purchase from an online retailer, you need a prescription and Pupillary Distance (PD) which is the distance between your eyes.Accuvision wanted $10 to re-measure my PD (something they already measured when I purchased my glasses from them)! They claim that they do not keep this information and that the distance between the eyes changes...This is false and is just another way of getting extra money! PD remains fairly constant for adults.I will not be going back.

I will definitely be coming back! I had a very friendly and proffesional and clean experience! They did a very nice job explaining different contact brands i could choose. I liked that i was able to try on the contacts myself & that I was able to pick out glasses with my contact prescription which i was very happy about! Most places make you pay or take 2 sepreate exams for this.The staff was very helpful when choosing the correct frames for my face shape. I couldnt help but notice how clean their store is. I would recommend anyone visit this store. Ivonne is the manager there and she did an amazing job at making me feel welcome. Thank you schaumburg staff!

LOVE LOVE LOVE AccuVision. They are my go to place for prescription eye wear. I was previously a life long customer of the Eye Boutique, (I will never go there again, their prices and products are substandard). AccuVision took the time to understand all my concerns and educated my about the latest products and worked with me to ensure I was completely satisfied. My customer experience was phenomenal. I was greeted the moment I entered their establishment and the process moved quickly. I felt like their only priority and appreciated the fact that they valued my time. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will never ever go any place else for my contacts or glasses!

I broke my glasses that I purchased from AcuVision and stopped in after work to see if I could drop them off for repair. Not only did Christina fix them immediately but for no charge. When she gave them back they were better than new. Now that is customer service.

Its very odd to hear from a customer service complaining to a customer why do all customers have to book appointment in the last 5 days of the year end. Well Ms Old Lady, you need to go back to school to learn the ABCs of customer service.
