Pearle Vision on Golf Road in Schaumburg employs quality optometrists and knowledgeable staff! I am very satisfied with their quality of care. I had been going to a different well-known eye care company and was disappointed in their staff, so I didnt have an eye exam for more than 6 years.I decided on Pearle Vision because they have been in business as far back as I remember which is a sign of much experience and a good way of treating people. At Pearle Vision, from the moment you walk in, you feel that they appreciate you and are very polite and kind. I will keep them as the eye care provider for my family and myself. Kudos to Pearle Vision!

Dr. Kugel was very friendly and professional and helped me to find a better content lenses than the one I used to wear. Eye exam and my doctor were great! Ordered my yearly contacts without any issues. However, with or without insurance buying glasses from them is over priced. I also price checked having brand new frames (coach) I never wore having new lenses put in, that was just as pricey. That’s my only cause for concern with them. I go elsewhere with my script to get glasses every year.

Employees were extremely helpful, and kind. Maria went out of her way to make sure everything went the way it was supposed to. I am satisfied with the service. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to this Pearle Vision for a few years now and have always had a great experience for my annual checks. Ive never been an eye glass wearer, but I find it important to check my eyes every year. It doesnt hurt to keep up a solid baseline!My visit this year was a little different, as I had a different doctor that was filling in for my normal Dr. Patel (Love her!). Dr. Kugal was the one who helped me and I appreciated her guidance. I have been told for a few years now that I should look into getting glasses for driving. My prescription is minor so Ive avoided it every year. Dr. Kugal gave me what my prescription would be and placed the lenses into what I call, Albert Einstein glasses, so I could take a look into the parking lot. I couldnt believe how clearly I could see. I had no idea how blurry my vision was. I knew my eyesight was a little blurry, but man! After looking through these glasses, I realized its time for some glasses while I drive!Thank you to the rest of the team for helping this new glasses wearer out! Maria was so helpful and quick with the exam portion (and so FUN!), and Chelsey was amazing, answering all my questions and listening to my stubborn self talk about how I dont really WANT glasses! Though Pearle Vision can be a bit pricey compared to other stores, the quality of the service is well worth it, especially if youre interested in getting high quality custom lenses. I had Chelsey on my last visit and she was great! She helped me find exactly what I needed and did a thorough breakdown of all the costs involved. It was a pleasant experience.

My experience this time at the Pearle Vision at 850 Golf Road in Schaumburg was especially positive. Doctor Thaykkar (we have the same birthday, but sorry if I misspelled her name though) was very sociable, polite and kind, explaining everything to me in a respectful, non-condescending way. Maria was incredibly bubbly, sweet, bordering on adorable while helping me pick out frames for my new pair of sun and every day glasses. She also took the time to explain the cost break down: before and after insurance as well as reminding me how much I put on each card (I paid with my HSA plus two other cards). I’m incredibly happy with my visit this time and look forward to seeing Maria and the lovely ladies again when I pick up both pair of glasses!

I see the positive reviews here and wish to relay my experience. I purchased glasses here, and upon picking them up I was told I could not exchange them for another pair. The issue was due to my higher prescription, the lens came out a little thicker on these frames and I could not see myself wearing a lens that thick. All I needed was smaller frames. I was told exchanges were not allowed especially bc I initially made the purchase on December 31st. I find that hard to believe (further verified that policy does allow for exchanges) and another very helpful Pearle Vision resolved my issue almost 6 months later. In summary, for 6 months I didnt wear the glasses I purchased/used my benefits on and was told I couldnt exchange the day I went to pick them up.

Ive been to a few different Pearle Vision locations in the past due to moving or changes in my insurance coverage, but this has been my favorite location Ive ever been to. The staff in the main lobby is very patient, receptive, and understanding. They helped me go through everything very quickly and explained my options in great detail.I have had several interactions with Chelsea specifically, and I was very impressed with her professionalism and patience. Im also a big fan of the doctor! I recommend this place for all your vision care needs!

Great selection of glasses, unfortunately they are taking every extreme precaution for covid. You need to have a mask to enter, I didnt have one and they did not have any extra available, so I went to walgreens to purchase the mask. Came back some time later, they sanitize all the glasses that you try and you need to wear a mask to try the glasses on. How am I going to decide if I want to purchase that $500 frames with my mask on? I understand necessary precautions but this location is extreme and completely not focused on customer satisfaction. Kids are not welcomed. Already found other spots that have a normal approach towards their customers needs and will not be back for sure.

This office is the best! The doctor and staff here actually know what their talking about and are honest! When I ordered my glasses there was no surprise fees at the end and she explained everything in detail. I love this place so much that I convinced my family to travel to them all the way from the city! They have so many frames to pick from. I also felt they went out of their way to put great covid protocols in place! They have a separate room that I was able to go in by myself and try on the frames without my mask. I visited Pearle Vision in Schaumburg on 9/11. I was greeted by Bri at the door, she was very nice and pleasant. I went in to see Dr. Thakkar, she answered all my questions and was very patient. Chelsey helped pick out my glasses, she did a awesome job! I ended up getting 2 pairs of glasses. Bri suggested I get a 2nd pair for just the computer which I had not thought of before. Thanks Bri! Super easy to make an appointment (Chelsea helped me over the phone) and I was able to walk right in without waiting to be seen by the doctor (Dr. Patel was awesome and very thorough!!) This was the best eye exam experience I have ever had. First, the staff was extremely compliant with COVID restrictions and masks were enforced which was great to see. The check in process was seamless, and Dr. Thatcher was absolutely fantastic. She explained everything she was doing very well, the difference of the results of my previous exam compared to now, and was super receptive to all of my questions. When my new contact lenses started acting up, she allowed me to test a different brand to ensure that my eyes were comfy. Staff went out of their way to sanitize all the frames I had tried on or tested before allowing others to try. I’d absolutely recommend this location to anyone and everyone!

Yesterday was the first time I’ve gone for an eye appointment and picking out glasses that resulted in me being thoroughly satisfied and happy! I was so thankful for Elena’s assistance. Such an amazing experience! I was really nervous for my first eye exam in a couple years and nervous to take my mom who only speaks Spanish, but the store manager Jasmin was so helpful and kind she treated us as if we were family! I had a job interview at this location and I was superexcited and ready for the interview. I’m expecting a baby and I was ready to get into a workplace that will benefit me financially! I was greeted at the door, she was super super friendly and sweet but when the hiring manager came up to me she respectfully denied me because of my clothing. She did not look at my resume or speak to me about my experience, the job or anything. I did let her know that my clothing selection was limited because of me expecting but I was still denied. I am extremely disappointed, I have worked as a front desk concierge and within only 3 months of working up front I was promoted to manager and I thought I would be able to utilize my potential in this workplace. I respect the professionalism but I don’t respect that i was immediately turned away without even a conversation. They missed out with on a great employee but I am still super disappointed that because of my clothing, my potential and everything I can bring to the table was entirely overlooked.

Excellent customer service. While the new protocols that are place with COVID across the nation may result in a patient not feeling the most welcome, this was not the case here. The team did a fantastic job providing a compassionate and caring environment all while maintaining a safe, clean visit. The office was exceptionally nice and very modern looking. Tried to get glasses from Glasses USA and since they do not position your eyes on the lens all 3 pairs they sent me were terrible. One pair at Pearle, fitted by Sadie, and I was set.

Chelsey and Dr. Thakkar were super helpful! My old glasses were making me dizzy but they helped me figure out the prescription was incorrect and now I can wear my glasses comfortably
