Dr. Mahon always takes time to explain the exam and the results. He was able to detect early signs of Glaucoma and Cataracts the referred me to specialists who could mitigate the effects of these issues. The staff are always helpful and courteous.

Shout-out to MountainView Eye Associates! I had not been anywhere for an eye exam in 17 years (I know, I know). I was highly impressed by their safety approach, in addition to the exam itself. I felt heard due to some headaches and concerns, taken care of medically, and then totally had fashion time trying on glasses without feeling rushed or like they had better things to do. In fact, I did not feel rushed during any part of my time there. It was as if I was the only patient of the day, and with doctors these days, that seems never to happen. The front desk employees, Micaiah and Stephanie, greet you with a big heart and are always trying to make the patients visit as easy as possible. My husband and I moved to the area recently and needed to find new doctors. Today I went for an exam and to get contacts and they were AMAZING!!! From start to finish my experience was unmatched! They’re handling Covid so great and made me feel so safe! The whole staff is so friendly and helpful and Dr. Mahon is the absolute best! So nice and answered my (many) questions!! We will definitely be sticking to this practice!

Dr. Mahon is a easily one of the most knowledgeable doctors I’ve ever visited in my life. He and his staff are so genuinely kind and caring it’s hard to imagine going anywhere else. Their office is incredibly clean and up to date, and they embrace technology from iPad signatures and Apple Pay via text message. To diagnostic equipment that is above my pay grade that I’ve never seen elsewhere. If you’re looking for someone who cares and knows what they are talking about, I would recommend not settling and waiting for however long it takes to get an appointment.

Third time is a charm..Dr Mahon finally figured out what is going on in my old eyes and we got the right prescription for my glasses. The staff is the best and Dr Mahon, it beyond the best...He is the best of the best and worked hard to get the right prescription for my glasses. I have been coming here since I was A little kid. I’m 19 now. Everyone is very friendly. They all remember your name and treat you like family. Willing to accommodate your needs and help out with as much as possible. I moved recently and even drove an hour today for my appointment bc I refuse to switch eye doctors

I have nothing but good things to say about all of my experiences at this eye doctor. Ive actually referred about 6 other people here who are also thrilled with their experiences. If you want to be seen as a person and not just another client to bill, this is the place to come! The doctor and staff are so personable and caring.

Dr. Mahon insisted that I needed vision therapy, something no other doctor had ever mentioned. It seemed like he was pushing an unnecessary service on me purely for financial gain. To get a second opinion, I went to a nearby ophthalmologist who confirmed that vision therapy for me would be nonsense, as I am a college student who reads for hours a day!Additionally, the person at the front desk was very rude and unapologetic when they made a mistake on getting the proper contacts to me, and took it as far as flipping the fault on me.

Went there for the 5start review that I saw online. Great staff and doctor but giving only 3 starts since i had some issues with getting the glasses. I called and checked on the status 3 times and all three times Im given 3 different dates. Being an Eye associates place, I would think they could give a better status on the glasses. I still have not received the glasses and now they say that its going to take another 2 weeks!! I feel that a generic place like Walmart gives a better status on orders placed :(Update: They landed up calling us for an early pickup. So changing to 4 stars :)

Ive had glasses for the last 17-18 years, been to many eye doctors. Dr. Mahon is by far the best eye doctor Ive been to and probably the only eye doctor I have seen more than once. Hes friendly, so is the staff, and he listens to my opinion about my eyesight instead of just going off of what my prescription should be.The staff is great! Even though Im seen once every year or two, they still remember who I am, and what my preferences are. I accidentally showed up to my appointment half an hour early and didnt really have to wait too long, just long enough for the doctor to get off his lunch break.Go see them!

Best optometrist experience ever. The staff I dealt with, Ramona, Veshawnda and Arianne all seemed very passionate and knowledgeable about their jobs. Dr. Mahon was very professional and was able to describe my eye condition better than any optometrist Ive seem in the past. Also, they were able to have my glasses ready in an hour (they said sometimes it does take a few days). Independently owned and definitely better than any chain.

I have been going to Mountainview Associates since before they moved to their Snellville location, and although its not as convenient to me, I continue with them because of Dr. Mahon and his wonderful staff.
