Visited LensCrafters to purchase a couple pairs of glasses for my pre-teen. The staff greeted me as I came in and got us situated to look for frames. After deciding on a couple of pairs, Valerie A. worked with us to get us the best pricing available and explained in detail our breakdown of what each pair would be. She was friendly and helpful and easy to talk to and made the experience quick and easy for me and my son. I would recommend coming here for any of your vision needs based on the staff alone. And the frame selection is pretty good too.

Called this LensCrafters as they are a national chain about an issue with my glasses I just bought a few months back. The paint on the Prada glasses I purchased are chipping like crazy and a nose piece came off.I have bought many pair of glasses from LensCrafters over the years without issue. Not only for me but my family as well. I have used them all over the country.The lady on the phone at the Tacoma Mall location (11/2/21 @ 1:30pm) explained that there is no warranty on the glasses and “you get what you get when you leave the store”. If I would have purchased a warranty they could fix for $25, but since I didn’t I was on my own.For a customer that has spent thousands of dollars over the years with this company I expected more. I will not spend a dollar in a LensCrafters again.It’s truly too bad that there is no standing behind your product with this company. I am not hard on glasses and have never needed anything in the past from them. The company is happy to take my money, but when asked to stand behind their product I’m told NO.No more money from this guy and I’m hopeful others will find this helpful information prior to doing business there.

What a wonderful visit! I was acknowledged as soon as I stepped in the office! Everyone was super helpful and explained everything to me as we went along!Dr is super thorough! And Valerie was amazing in assisting me with the breakdown of insurance cost for my frames and lenses and kept me within my budget but feeling confident in the exact frames I wanted ! So happy that I made this my new office for eye appointments 10/10 in all parts !

Rachel helped me find frames and when I couldnt find my prescription she said she would hold them for a couple days. I didnt get in for a week but she still had my frames held out. She helped me make sure they were the ones I really wanted, helped me figure out how to make my old glasses into sunglasses. It was a great experience. With help like Rachel, LensCrafters is the go to place for glasses.

Ive needed to get my glasses looked at for quite some time. Nothing major but Id put it off for a while. I called one other place that didnt seem too friendly and would have taken a few days to weeks. Deborah on the other hand was kind and skillful in her effort to secure my lens in its frame. I did not expect it to be done the same day!

Apparently, no one works here. Walked into pick up glasses I ordered online. Stood around for 20 minutes without even being acknowledged. I walked up to the person at the eye exams desk and let her know I was here to pick up glasses and didn’t know where to go she respond with “you are just going to have to be patient”. As if I wasn’t standing by the door patiently for 20 minutes. As I continued to wait I decided to look at glasses, a women finally acknowledged me and proceeded to yell from across the room not to touch the glasses and whatever I touched I need to put on the counter so she can clean them. At least I finally got their attention. Great selection of glasses. No Customer service what so ever.

Came here after a poor first experience at another major provider. This is an almost exclusively female-managed establishment with Dr. Tiffany Kim providing a wide range of services from LASIK referrals to a special dry eye and irritant exam. Angelina on the main floor assisted me, and after getting a thumbs up from her and her colleagues, Ive got one of my favorite pairs of glasses ever. I understand prior management for this location was terrible, but I can assure you these women are not only representing the best of the LensCrafters brand, but they are quick to demonstrate that stopping in is a good use of your time.

We went into lenscrafters today to handle a couple problems and dealt with a Angelina, Who was very professional and very courteous. The intake person was very professional and knowledgeable, but the TruVision Eye Care people, some of them, lets just say some developing is needed there in the customer service category. The one that gave me my fitting was good, but when you call in specifically in that section to make or cancel an appointment, the last person that I spoke with was ready to get off that phone and hung up on me while I was speaking today. Ill never buy anything from there again.

CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE FOR GLASSES! Spent 2000$ got the expensive glasses and expensive lenses. Came for adjustment 3 times in 1 month, because the adjustment was not right!First time they broke my frame and replaced it and I was thankful for that... last time I came in for adjustment they scratched my lenses because of the heat, on two pair of glasses!I went on vacation the next day and couldn’t come to tell them, I messaged costumer service and they responded with we are sorry! I came back from vacation and went to them and they said we can’t do anything even if it’s our fault, because of their disclaimer that I, on my side, didn’t sign any paper for...So, I’m left with 2 pairs of glasses, that are sideways from their adjustment and scratches on my lenses... 500$ only for lenses...So, save you time and money, go to another place other than Tacoma Mall Lens Crafters...They are nice, but nice doesn’t help when they don’t know how to adjust without damaging!Usually I was thinking I need to buy protection for me in case I scratch my glasses( that I’ve had for 10 years and not one scratch) but they ask for people to buy protection because they will ruin your glasses and you will need one...

Valerie was hands down perfect. Shes very knowledgeable about her product line, quick, very efficient and through thru my entire transaction. On multiple occasions she went far above and beyond what is required of her and does it well and with a smile. She was literally so great I kept my business with her and Lenscrafters at a bit more expensive price than I would have received direct from Oakley had I given them my business as planned. She really was that spot on about everything.

I had my first appointment/experience yesterday and I hate to report it wasn’t a pleasant one. I will start with the positives. Booking my appointment by phone was simple and efficient. The check in process was quick and seamless and I truly appreciated the extensive detailed description on how to navigate to the office and bypass the construction. The tech who started my exam was professional and kind. She talked through every procedure, alerting me of the process and the why behind it.Now the negative. Dr. Kim reminded me at every opportunity that I wear a high prescription. Is my prescription high? Yes, but it is natural; I didn’t do anything that caused this. I was literally created this way. So the constant reminder and snarky remarks were highly unprofessional and demeaning. When she walked in to conduct my exam, she says, “Wow, you have a really high prescription.” My response: Yep, it’s been like that all my life. She mentions she wants me to try a new brand of contacts despite me saying I prefer to keep my own. She then says, “well yours were created in 2010, so we like to keep patients updated. I am going to get some testers for you even though I don’t know if I will have them since your prescription is so high.” She leaves, comes back with them and AGAIN... “I am so surprised I have testers in your prescription. Yours is so high I didn’t know we kept them here.” She then tells me to follow her to the contact room so that I can put in a pair of the testers. In this room, she tells the tech in front of me in full volume, “She (points to me) is trying on a tester pair. Her prescription is a ****. It’s high, right?!” The tech replies, “wow that is high!”I have never been so embarrassed in an eye appointment in my life. I have always been treated with respect, compassion, and professionalism. This office failed to do these things, and I will not be returning to be the spectacle of the office again.

Nicole who assisted with the testing was sweet, patient and made this an easy experience. When it came to selecting my new glasses - It was actually a fun experience thanks to Debbie Garcia. She helped me with the total process, which went smoothly. My glasses came in less time than expected - just a few business days, and with prompt notification. Heather was the representative who asurred that the glasses were well fitted and that I was happy. Thanks for everything.

Heather was Great ! The Experience was Good & Selection was plentiful, The only thing I noticed is their prices are outrageous! I purchased two pairs of glasses and they billed my insurance and I was supposed get 50% of the 2nd pair but not true I spent over $800 and the worse part is I asked for AARP Discount, AAA, Law Enforcement all no . So I looked around the Oakley Sunglasses I ordered are Triple the price that i found . But because I used my Flexible spending account I feel they Truly Screwed me ! So be cautious about LensCrafters ! They truly are Greedy

I purchased a very specific Ray-Ban frame, took it to Lens Crafters at Tacoma Mall, and ordered a set of prescription lens for them, to the tune of $475.00. Some time later, I was advised that they had lost the glasses, and wanted me to come in to be fitted with something else. I declined, as I had gone to considerable trouble to get those specific frames in the the size I need. The person said that they would try and see if they could get find the frames in one of their other stores. A week or so later, I was called and advised that they had located the frames, and bought them from the other store. The caller sounded as if this were my fault. She said that they would order the lens, again. Now, six weeks after the fact, I have received a blanket send e-mail advising me that they are having problems. I have been provided no information about when I might get my glasses, and of course, return of the frames to me with the factory lens and refund of my $475.00 is out of the question. Stay way, way away from these people. They are apparently going under and are trying to keep from refunding peoples money.

My son and I went to LensCrafters in December of 2019 and the entire staff were very friendly, professional and made us feel right at home. They patiently took their time in identifying the correct lenses for us both as well as explaining different options in improving our eyesight. They gave us both lectures on how to put in and take out contacts via online tutorial and in person. The eyewear section staff were also very helpful in assisting us both with the correct glasses based on our facial structure. We deeply enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to see you guys next year! I really like LensCrafters and I tend to get my eye exams and glasses or contacts from one of their many locations. This particular LensCrafters in Tacoma didnt disappoint when it came to customer service and selection of frames. I will say that the prices are a bit high when compared to other optometrists but LensCrafters offers different sales and promotions that make it affordable. Overall, I am pleased with the service and glasses that I received.

I had dropped off a friend to get a eye exam. I was rudely interrupted because they said they needed a driver at the location. As I entered the location I was poorly greeted by staff and did not feel welcomed into there store. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family.

Went to purchase new frames, I was ignored for 10 minutes was told they needed to take a call and would help me after the answered the phone. After her phone call she went to the back while I was still waiting. Had two frames I wanted to ask questions about but sadly when the lady returned she helped another customer. I put the two frames I had back and left the store. On my way out she realized she had forgot about me which seemed odd as I was the only one in the store before the lady she helped arrived. I will go somewhere else, although this store is closer to my home and had at least two pair of frames I wanted to purchase and fill my vision prescription.

Accidentally scheduled an appointment here rather than the place I thought I was scheduling at. Turned out to be a happy mistake. While more expensive than I wanted, these bifocals are perfect. No distortion when I turn my head, vision is clear, glasses arrived on time. I liked the doctor who worked there as well - she took time, was thorough and didnt give the feeling that you were being herded through a cattle call like some places do. Definitely recommend this place if you want glasses done right that youll actually wear.

Eye doctor was great, very patient, thorough and seemed knowledgeable. I especially liked that she explained everything. The staff in the eye glass area and the exam area were awesome. Everyone was super kind and didnt seen annoyed that I had my antsy toddler in tow. My only gripe is the price. Dude! I paid top price for frames then the lenses are 450?! Insane. I did however recieve my glasses in 3 days which was better then the original 10 to 14 they quoted me.

Just go somewhere else... they are over priced, horrible quality lenses, so many frames yet some how so little differences, rude staff, except James, he is amazing. I am so upset I spent $400+ on lenses that 3 months later have some blue/white streaks that do not go away....garbage lenses in my opinion/experience.

I went to this office and had a good experience with Dr. Kim. I decided to refer my mother. The doctor she saw, Dr. Bauer, was very rude to her and treated her extremely poorly. My mother and I will not be returning to this office and will not be recommending any friends or family to this location.

This place is a joke Ive called 4 times to try and cancel a appointment and no one answers even though I know they are there I went in to get contacts and they are charging way to much it was going to cost me a little over $230 dollars and I went to Walmart vision and they only charged me $170 for my contacts and a pair of glasses Im so glad I didnt go with lenscrafters

We had a wonderful experience with Debbie at the Tacoma location the last two days. She went above and beyond to help us when we needed new lenses for my sons glasses and then again when we returned the next day with broken frames for the same glasses. She remembered us and worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed, even patching up our broken frames to be a back up pair if the need ever arose! Thank you Debbie!

They will do anything to get you into buying their expenses glasses. Be aware if you buy your glasses online and go to Lenscrafter to get adjustments, chances are that they will trash the online business telling you that buying online is bad business and that you need to pay $300 more to get a good pair of glasses. Stay away from Lenscrafter and any retailer if possible. Try them in store first and buy them online after you can save $300-400.

My family and I have been coming here for years to get our glasses. In all those years I’ve not had one problem. Yesterday I went in with a friend to browse and was greeted by a older woman with medium length brown hair and glasses who I believe was the manager. I had started to walk towards the left because thats where men’s glasses have been for years and years but I guess with in the last two years since I’ve been there, they’ve moved them to the right and redone the floors among other things.The woman asked me what I was looking for and I told her I was looking for new glasses and the woman corrected me “you mean new frames” and then told me where things were. I went about my business and looked around. After a few minutes I then went up to her to ask if they would be carrying the new Tom Ford eyeglasses and sunglasses anytime soon. The entire time the woman looked at me in a very condescending way and her tone matched her facial expressions. She said, “we don’t sell luxotica brands and if it’s not in the store then we don’t sell it”. I was confused because I was just looking at Tom Ford glasses on the LensCrafters website so I said, “so if you can only order them online I couldn’t order them through the store” to which she just confirmed. All she kept saying was that they’d never sell luxury glasses like that (because Burberry, Versace, etc. aren’t luxury). Finally I said well you sell them on your website so I’m confused and all she could do was look at me like I was stupid. All she could say was, “well even if we do sell them online this store will never sell them”.How do I know more about your products than you do? You should be constantly reading up on what you sell and I’m more than positive you receive emails from corporate about new merchandise as well. I worked in retail at this very mall so I know how it goes. It was 10 in the morning. What has happened in the short time between opening the store and that moment to cause you to lose all customer service skills? I could maybe understand if it was the end of the day and there were a lot of customers but there were two other gentlemen and they were being helped by someone else.Needless to say I will not be coming back and neither will the rest of my family. I’ll be buying my glasses from the website, driving to a different location, or taking my business elsewhere altogether. Good luck with business.

When I purchased my glasses and tried them on I noticed that they were too big on my face. I explained this to the lady that was helping me and she proceeded on adjusting them and told me that they should be fine afterwards. However a month later it was the same issue so I called them and explained that the frames were still too big for my face to the point the glasses are repeatedly falling off of my face and I have been wearing my contacts because unfortunately I cannot fit my glasses and asked for them to remedy the issue by either returning the frames or exchanging them for frames that actually fit my face. The representative told me that because I’m out of my time window that there was nothing that she could do other than me basically dishing out another $400 dollars for new frames. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 12 years old and never in my life have I experienced this kind of poor service. Let’s be honest one glasses are not cheap and two the glasses are a two year prescription soooo basically I’m being forced to pay $800 for glasses in one year. BUYER BEWARE

Actual exam was fine - not excellent. The customer service on the front end was unacceptable. Asking reasonable questions about the exam is apparently an annoyance. First and last visit to this store.

NO SAME DAY SERVICE. NO REPAIRS.They stopped offering same day service over a year ago.I said your business model was built on same day service, they enthusiastically replied we do same day next week. They said that more than once. I am legally blind, my dog has eaten 3 $300 pairs of glasses in 6 months. They babbled some nonsense in a room filled with thousands of frames that they couldnt sell me frames that would my lenses...Ill go back to pick up the emergency horn rimmed 150$ basic frames because Im absolutely desperate but I wont go back and Ill never recommend them to anyone.

The absolute best experience I have ever had at the eye doctors. I was a bit hesitant to visit a chain lens crafters. I have always booked with a private, local owned business. My experience here was PHENOMENAL. I saw Dr. Kim at the truVision desk which is a branch within Lens Crafters for your eye exam. She was professional, personable and wonderfully kind. Her assistant at the front desk Emilio was humble, polite and made me feel very welcomed. You can tell the staff here is genuine in their love for what they do. I felt like everyone was there to help me and provide the best service. I like that they didnt hover while I looked for the perfect frames for my prescription. Everyone made me laugh and smile and I felt completely comfortable. I will def. be going back here again!

First off I have always went to pearl vision but decided to give LensCrafters a chance by ordering a pair of glasses thru them. The staff was descent by helping me decide on a frame after ordering the glasses I specifically asked for the thinnest lenses possible when I receive the thick pair of glasses they informed me there are multiple skinny lenses and this is the one I chose which was incorrect. Asked to have them sent back the first week to have the lens shaved down which they then indicated this would be another 175 on top of the $765 I had already spent on frames and glasses so I rejected. A few weeks later one of my lens just feel out by walking not running not doing anything extreme simple walking. Called to start insurance claim to get my glasses fixed and was transferred around and finally reached someone which they stated they were apart of the physician team and I needed to speak with a floor manager. This is horrible customer service I will never order another pair of glasses from LENCRAFTERS TACOMA OR ANY LENSCRAFTERS AT ALL.Please be aware

Debbie helped us and said they would text us when ready in an hour but 2 hours passed by and I was concerned and called myself only to find out that it wont be ready til next day because the tech that was there is new and wasnt too sure about doing my glasses. I then told Debbie over the phone that the reason why we came there was because of the same day service they advertise so much on commercials, I told her thats false advertising and bad customer service .. so Debbie decides to give me an attitude asking me if I want them done or not so I ask for a manager and Debbie says she is the manager I then ask for her manager and she says the general manager wont be in til Thursday .. How convenient huh?!?! So irritating! and over priced might I say ..

Was told that if I bought my eye prescription I wouldnt need an eye exam, I told them I ONLY wanted a contact exam.They ended charging me for both and it wasnt brought to my attention until AFTER I paid when they didnt show or tell me how much the service was. It was almost $200 when it was only suppose to be $80. They told me before I started I was only getting a contact exam. Also I felt uncomfortable being questioned on why I wouldnt pick the brand of contacts the Dr wanted me to get, when Im used to the regular brand I use. I was just there to update my prescription.At the end of my appointment, I was given an over priced bill, and now have to wait a week and do a follow up just to get my prescription for my contacts. Avoid the exams here. After this experience I will be going somewhere else.

I came here for the whole experience and for what the commercials on t.v. said they offered. Instead I ended up being ignored for 30 mins before I left. they only had one other customer, and two employees on staff. The selection was crap and waaaay over priced. ended up going to Costco and bought 2 pair for the price of one pair here. I do not recommend.
