I bought 2 new tires from Big-O and had them put on the rear of my vehicle. A few weeks later I started noticing a lot of wobbling from the rear then noticed I had a broken stud on the rear drivers side. When I took my vehicle to another tire shop to have a stud replaced I was informed that ALL the lug nuts on both rear wheels were loose! Not even finger tight! Big-O tires forgot to tighten all the lug nuts! I could have died! More importantly my kids could have died too since I had driven on the turnpike with them several times! Because of this incident and there high prices I wont be going back there!

Took a mower tire to them on a Tuesday, talk to Dave, they couldn’t fix it because it needed a tube put in and they had to order the tube. No problem tube would be here Thursday it would be $18 to fix. Didn’t hear from them so I called. Sorry can’t get a tube but we guarantee it will be her Friday. Not a word Friday so I call back, nope no tube but we guarantee Saturday. Again zero updates, called and was on hold and they happen to be fixing it then. Perfect, I’ll pick it up. Arrive to pick it up and guess what it’s DOUBLE ($32.00) what they quoted me! The guys defense was that the tube was hard to get and another customer even brought his tire in today and got it fixed TODAY because a farm store down the road had the tubes and charge $27.99. First off, you have had my tire since Tuesday, had anyone bothered to attempt to communicate with me that getting it down the road was an option I would have done that myself! No one made an effort to get my tire fixed in a timely measure, but this guys sure did because he needed to mow today. Great you sacrificed one customer for another! Great job fellas!! Ladies if you need a tire repaired GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I will never go back again!

I like the option of selecting the tire I want for my vehicles. I receive reminders for oil changes which I appreciate. The staff is always friendly and professional.

Great place for repairs. Dave was great on working with the price. He beat the price of other shops in town. He was very knowledgeable and straightforward on all services. Because when your spending 1230 dollars you got to know whats going on. Also there parts and the warranty are one of the best. Plus he got me in the next day and got it done in less time that I was told. Over all a great shop for being mainstream.

Take time to read the bad reviews for this place before you spend good money here and get charged for work that isnt being done.My experience here has been neutral-positive since Ive started using big o as a tire dealer and mechanic.Twice Ive brought it in for a tire rotation that wasnt done.I was only aware the first time because a different tire shop had chalked the tire where they did a flat repair earlier in the day and when I picked it up the rotation was on the ticket but it had obviously not been done.I bought it in for a suspension inspection because of unusual tire wear and they determined the tie rod ends were bad. There was some confusion between the service writers and the techs and they had to have it back for a second day after they ordered the wrong parts.I showed back up at the end of the day incorrectly assuming there was time to do everything.I took it home and I noticed the tires hadnt been rotated, again.I bought these tires from big o and not once did they ever mention that there was a concern with wear or make any attempt to sell me service I didnt explicitly ask for.This occasion happens to be a Saturday where the crowd level was like Disney world, and overwhelmed staff is franticly answering calls and checking customers in and out at an wholly unmanageable pace. I finally make it to the counter and I tell the guy that I need a rotation. In the most condescending and smug voice possible says; do we have an appointment today?I handed him a self-tapping screw I found on the ground outside, simply to make them aware that their construction crew was dropping 2 screws all over their tire shop parking lot.He told me in an equally smug and dismissive tone, yeah were doing construction, we can only sweep the parking lot so many times in a day I proceeded to tell him my full story in between the phone calls he was taking and after about 5-10 minutes of negotiation he agrees to take my truck in right now, for the rotation that was never done during the 24 business hours its already been there in the last month.I ask him about balancing the tires because of the wear and high speed vibration and he tells me it would be wasting his time and mine.Translation: I dont want to and we obviously dont have time.I get a ride home and less than an hour later I have a text message that says it was done.I get home and jack up the front end and discover the reason for the noise was the balancing weights inside the wheel are rubbing the caliper when the front wheel went around.You know, because the front brakes are larger in diameter so, clearance in the wheel is different? I had to scrape off half the weights with a screwdriver to get the wheel to move freely.I took the truck to a different shop to balance the wheels and all 4 tires needed weight.It definitely makes me wonder if all of the oil changes and other service Ive had done was actually completed.What else other people are being charged for that isnt being done? Its happened to me twice within 12 months.

The whole staff and team at Big O were WONDERFUL!!!! My husband has been working with Doug, Dutch, and several members of the team on getting new wheels for his truck. He could never make up his mind so I got them ordered and they help me keep it a secret- and that was a struggle. My tire light came on and we stopped by to get it checked. They got me in immediately, charged me nothing and aired up the tires to the appropriate amount. Craig was very helpful and did a wonderful job. I will come back again when I need my tires replaced!

Had an appointment for tire rotation. I was in & back out in an hour! Very efficient, clean & organized.

We took our Tahoe in to have the a/c system checked for a Freon leak. The entire system was new except for the Evaporator Core, so we knew thats where the leak was. When fully charged, the system blew Ice Cold and blew out of the correct vents as needed. it would get so cold that we would turn it down sometimes. We told them we would have the system FULLY charged right before we brought it to them, all they needed to do was find the leak. The owner called and said the system was low 38 ounces of Freon but there were no leaks and they had filled the entire system. I knew they were wrong or lying because the system was full 30 minutes before they got it AND if it had leaked 38 ounces in 30 minutes, how could their NOT be a leak? When i got there the owner tells me a 100% different story, says he misread the paperwork and that the system was 100% full and they TOOK 38 ounces out, but there was no leak, then they proceeded to try and bill us for finding nothing. I told them that the system would leak down in 13-14 days and they needed to take it back and find the leak in the Evap Core just like i asked. 2 hrs later they call and say they found a leak, guess where it was...YEP, in the Evap Core where we said it was. They wouldve charged us after giving us our vehicle back with the same leak it showed up with. They originally gave us an estimate in the mid $800s, when it was done it was nearly $1,000.00. Within a day we noticed that none of the vents were working as they should, if you put it on face, it would blow on your feet..if you put it on feet and would blow somewhere else, there was almost zero air coming out of the face vents and it was barely even cool let alone cold...after 45 minutes with the a/c on full blast, we were still sweating our backsides off in the vehicle. Also, within the first 24 -48 hours, screws were falling out of the dash, then the entire blend control motor fell out and landed under the brake pedal while my wife was on the highway at 2 in the morning...it scared the heck out of her! We also noticed we had ZERO radio stations on the radio, but it worked perfect before. We called and told them about it, they said they didnt touch the radio...so we took it to a stereo shop where they found out that the person who installed the Evap Core (BIG O) had gotten the wires caught and pulled the antenna lines out from where it went thru the firewall and where it went in to the radio...they took the dash apart to find this, cost me $120+. We took out vehicle back to Big O where they spent the day fixing everything. We checked everything out, the vents are a little better but NOTHING like it was before they worked on it. The a/c is cold if you stick a thermometer right inside the vents, but if youre sitting in the front seats, youre gonna sweat youre backside off because it still doesnt blow like it used to. They claim its a design flaw by Chevy..apparently this design flaw only appears after they work on it because it was never there before. We asked them for a discount because of the messed up radio, the vent issues, the non-cooling problems, the screws falling out from the dash, the blend door motor falling out, etc..etc..etc.. they said theyd give us $50 and that was after 2 days of calling them. They said we shouldve brought it back to them for the stereo issue...Well, why would i take it back to them when they said it wasnt their fault???? I have pictures of the antenna line disconnected in 2 spots, i have pics of the blend door motor and screws laying on the floor..but they still wont make it right, even after we wasted 2 days doing this...they even say they have shuttle service but we ended walking 2.5 miles home in nearly 100 degree temps after we dropped off the vehicle because they wouldnt give us a ride home. We are now OVER $1,000.00 poorer and the a/c system is terrible. we will have to save up and take it somewhere that can do it correctly. I told Doug i would be writing this review, he could care less and didnt give a darn and told us to go ahead and do it. So here it is.

Staff were as helpful as they could be when they werent getting frustrated by malfunctioning tech and difficult to work with companies. Their deals were mostly straight forward and costs mostly clear. But warranties and rebates and services are where they make their money, so I understand the hustle. Would still recommend the business, just come prepared to turn down services etc.Updated edit: This review came off MUCH more negative than I had intended. I wanted to clarify that I definitely enjoyed my time here and the associates seemed very down to earth and human.I just wanted to let everyone know that the people here are good people, but it appeared as though the credit card reader as well as a corporate account were giving them some trouble during my visit. I wish Big O Tires all the best and I will probably be returning.

I took a Big O Big Foot AT in to get looked at due to a puncture. The tire was deemed to be bad and needed to be replaced. The warranty process was painless and simple. Out the door in about 30 minutes. Great job Big O Topeka team.

Took over 2 and a half hours to get four tires on my car without extras when you could get it down much quicker elsewhere. Not very inexpensive.

I set up an appointment for 330 and showed up at 315 for 2 tires and alignment. At the time I was told that it would be an hour to hour and half tops and that nothing was ahead of me on the alignment. It wasnt till 620 that I was actually out of there. I was even told 30 more minutes at 420. They put a truck ahead of me on the alignment rack without word and didnt bring my car in until they saw me pacing back and forth. The problem that bugs me the most and not at any time was I offered an apology or an explanation. The only time anyone told me sorry was when I actually confronted them at 620. Only one person was nice and the others just scattered or shrugged me off. To not be offered an apology, an explanation or to even acknowledge that you have done a customer wrong shows the type of business you have. This is not my first time of a bad experience here but it definitely will be my last.

Had a 10:30 appointment on 8/13/18 at the Wannamaker location to have my brakes looked at.I had called Saturday to set an appointment for Monday at 10:30 the person I talked to then said to bring it on in and we would take care of you.When I arrived there was no appointment made but the person waiting on me still took care of it. Around 12:30 I noticed my car had still not been pulled in to be looked at and folks who had come in after me had been taken care of and gone so I decided to leave. When I went to the counter to ask for my keys the guy at the counter simply stated sorry we did not get to you. What happened to the days when customer service really meant something. UPDATE..... the owner of the shop responded to my review and gave me an email to send more information and my email address and phone number.As of 12/1/18 I have not gotten a response. Im not surprised. Again what happened to the days when companies believed in giving great service and lived up to that. UPDATE .... it is now a new year 2019 and I still have not gotten a response from this company. I am not surprised. I have come to the conclusion that I will never use this company again. And will suggest to anyone I know to do the same.

We took the car in and told them what was wrong. They told us “no its something else”. We spent over $800 just to have the SAME issue. We took it back and they told us exactly what we told them what was wrong in the beginning. And they still expect compensation. TAKE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ELSEWHERE

Fast. Friendly. Fair. These guys are knowledgeable and super friendly, and do SO much more than just tires. My mom had referred me to Dutch and the Big O team to begin with (which I REALLY appreciated Dutch taking such time and good care of my mom) I brought my car in once when I needed a quick turnaround & my regular mechanic didnt have time for 2 weeks. They were great and now Ive come to rely on them for all our vehicles for nearly everything from oil changes & tires to alternators & air conditioning repair and more. I recommend them to everyone. :^)

Like I said before the guys at Big O Tiers are the best of the best in Topeka Ks. My grand daughter stated she hears this funny sound when she steps on her breaks, well that funny sounds was metal hitting metal she needed new breaks shose pads and the rotter needed to be replace, called my guys at Big O Tires, Aaron stated no problem send her over. On a road trip, after purchasing a set of tires in Colorado. We had pulled in just before closing to have our tire balance checked. The guys here were great! The other shop had failed to balance our tires correctly. This shop balanced the tires quickly and had us on the road again in no time.Thanks from Kentucky!

This was easily the best, most professional Auto Care experience Ive had. These gentlemen were courteous, fair, and went above and beyond to give me the best experience possible. My oil change cost 20$ less than I was quoted everywhere else and they changed my tires for free without me asking!!!!

I booked a one pm appt. I arrived 1:05 pm. They predicted a 1 hr 45 completion. I settled my bill at 3:40...second time in last two visits. Disappointing.Addendum: Store manager reached out by email to address my issue that same evening. He took invoice # and researched the delay. Long story short I was impressed with his genuine interest in rectifying my disappointment and took appropriate steps to avoid future delays and improve communication when unavoidable. Am changing my review to 4/5 stars based on this interaction.

You’d think when you spend $1300 on a set of tires they could mount them a little bit quicker than 3 and a half hours I sat in the waiting room. I will never buy tires here again.

I brought in my 2013 4runner for new wheels and tires. The staff were extremely helpful and quick. I put on new headlights and a push bar. Everything was well done.

My husband and I are from out of town and here for the night. We blew two tires in an enormous pot hole. Called around to 7 different tire shops before we found this tire shop to have the tires I needed on hand. When we got to the shop, they were super busy. They were unable to pull my car into the shop to keep from driving one rims, so they jacked the car up in the middle of the parking lot and changed both tires. A half hour later we were back on the road. Absolutely impeccable service. So impressed and thankful!

Big O always bends over backwards to accommodate and take care of their customers. I dont know how many times, over the years, Ive had flats, and theyve been able to work me right in. They also have special deals on tires and wheels you cant find elsewhere.

The guys at the shop are extremely nice. But they will throw a rebate at you that can take 2-3 months to receive. I had such a hassle with the company that was supposed to reimburse me for my upgraded tire that I wont buy in to the rebate again. Dont buy a more expensive tire for the rebate. The hassle isnt worth it. I did call Big O Tires and the attendee contacted the tire merchant for me. Supposively Ill get my girftcard in the mail. Which again. Was extremely nice of them. Just not worth the time to do it again.

Its never fun finding out something is wrong with your car, but it is always nice to know that when something does go wrong, youve found people you can trust to fix it. Big O Tires went above and beyond to show me the problem, make sure I understood what needed to be fixed, and offered the lowest quote for the repair. I cant really see me taking my car anywhere else from here on out.

Walked in and thought there may be something in my tire that kept making it go low. I was immediately greeted told it would be a 45 minute wait or they could for free shuttle me to wherever and then pick me back up before 6. I decided to wait and they quickly got my van in and out. 20 ish minutes and the I was paying 20 ish bucks for a plugged nail in tire hole. I will definitely use again.

Called for quote on tire patch. Was given quote. Came in very shortly thereafter for tire patch. Twenty bucks but over 5 hr wait. For a nail in a tire. Not told about the wait on the phone. And there was at least one too many guys out in the front counter area then there was stuff to do in said area ... I went across the parking lot and was in and out for twenty bucks and home less than twenty minutes after I left big o here disappointed

I trust the guys at Big-O on Wannamaker Rd in Topeka KS. I keep 7 cars on the road for my family so I see them frequently. They have always dealt with me fairly and honestly.

This is a place you can trust. The people here are friendly and they have plenty of expertise in their craft. They never try to up sell you or manipulate you to think you need to do something that you actually may not need to do.For those that don’t know, they have a shuttle service to get you to work so you don’t have to worry about cancelling plans when something bad happens.
