Horrible experience!! I bought glasses and I pay for scratch resistant option and is completely worthless. I figure they would fix that scratch since it was less than a month and they basically told me that they cant help me unless I buy a warranty...I was so happy with my glasses but I lost all my hope for Visionworks by Tysons Corner. My friend had a similar problem and the other place was happy to fix it for free because it was less than 60 days. I would not recommend this place. Where is the customer service?The owner needs to make it right for me.Completely unacceptable.

I rarely write bad reviews, but you should be ready for some unexpected costs if youre planning to visit this office. Be prepared to be treated like an ATM rather than a patient. I chose this particular location because of the excellent reviews on Dr.Kraft. Lady at the register also assured me they do retina screening, which includes eye dilation and check-up. However, Dr. Kraft said he doesnt provide such a service. Ive been told that my retina is excellent, which isnt accurate because I have a history of retina detachment on both eyes, an eye surgery two months ago, so usually optometrists have a lot of questions about my retina.Ive been charged $19 for this advanced screening.Also, Ive been diagnosed with astigmatism, and Dr. Kraft asked me if I want to try out lenses. Eventually, I got a prescription for the same lenses I wear for five years, without astigmatism correction, but have been charged $70 for evaluation, as it turned out at the register.Thank you very much: Ive shared the information with my insurance provider, they launched an investigation.Everyone at the location is friendly, but I am very surprised they are still operating because there are so many fantastic ophthalmologists nearby. This is not the kind of service you want to experience. If you decide to visit the office, please ask them to provide information about charges in advance, so you wont be surprised at the end as I was.

Beatrice was the absolute friendliest and most helpful person I have ever encountered in shopping for glasses. She gave me honest advice about which frames did and didnt look good on me, was very patient, and explained all of the different discounts/insurance options to help me get the best deal!They were out of my prescription in contacts and my prescription didnt change, so I put back in the lenses I wore there, which is fine, except that they charged me for a contact lens fitting. I had an overall great experience (especially Beatrice!) but not wild about paying $70 for something they didnt do.

I have gone here in the past and was very happy with the staff. Now, they have put in an AI phone system that wont allow you to get to a real person or choose your dr. The phone number I have saved from previous appointments and what is posted on the website, only connects to the AI. Go to the website to schedule an appointment, cant choose your Dr. The website says if you have an eye injury, flashes, floaters, or sudden lose of vision call the office immediately...but again, the AI doesnt allow you get do that. Obviously, if you have an emergency or want to choose who you see, there is a problem with the system.

It had Great Customer service and Great Doctors and choices of Frames.

If you have vision insurance and are not planning to pay in full out of pocket, do not go here. Both my partner and I have had to return numerous times in person and call over the phone to try to resolve insurance misfiling. Our visits were in June and August 2020 respectively and we are still trying to resolve a clerical issue they made.

These folks really go the extra mile when it comes to customer service and patient care. Highly recommend.

Beware of the girl named Beatrice. The 3 stars is for the doctor and the guy name Devin.I called a couple times to get info about contact lenses since my first order and she would tell me to wait for about 10-15min and hung up or she would ask for the call back number and said she’d call back but never did.

Dr. Kraft is awesome. I have seen him for many years and he is always so friendly and helpful. I enjoy seeing him every year...great man and great doc. Highly recommend him.

From the moment I entered the door to the moment I left, Kimberley, an associate at Visionworks, helped me navigate through the process of selecting frames, lenses, squeezing me into a much-needed eye exam, AND working with my insurance company to make sure I got the best bang for my buck. Her honest and approachable demeanor was a refreshing experience.I had to post something because as I was looking up the opening times on Google, I noticed some pretty nasty reviews and thought to share my extremely positive experience. I highly recommend this store as its super central, excellent selection, and they can help you in a jam!

Dr Kraft has been my optometrist for over 15 years. I’ve tried other doctors closer to my home but the level of care and service I receive from Dr Kraft can not be matched - it is worth the time to travel there!

I would recommend this location (Vienna, VA) . The staff works hard and tries to get things done in a timely manner. When it is your turn, you are given the attention you deserve without any pressure to buy. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because the prices are good but not great, considering I was given a 50% off discount on both lenses and frames for my birthday. Like with most eyeglass stores, you get what you pay for., in terms of service. Here, you pay premium prices to receive premium service. I’d say it’s worth it ;-)

This was my first visit to Visionworks. I scheduled an appointment for an eye exam to get an updated prescription for contacts and glasses. The office staff was very friendly and quickly got me checked in at my scheduled appointment time. The initial eye exams/tests were done by one of the assistants. Then I had my exam with Dr. Kraft who was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He asked what brought me in to the office and I told him I was just interested in getting an updated prescription for contacts and glasses. At the end of the exam, I got just that (and a free pair of contacts to go!). I felt no pressure at any time to buy with them. I will be returning here for my eye exams in the future.

The customer service was excellent. Each person I came into contact with was personable, explained the process and my options for treatment and purchases clearly and made recommendations with the future in mind.

Doctors are Good and friendly. But sales persons are crazy. Be Careful. Theyll sell you dirty, scratched display sunglasses on full price.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kraft for over 15 years and he is awesome! I cannot imagine having any other optometrist. He listens and is super patient with you (especially during my awkward phase of wanting only colored contacts haha). He gave me my first pair of glasses when I was in 6th grade, and more recently, saw me through my Lasik surgery/post op. I’m going to keep seeing him for as long as I can! Highly recommend him! Over 3 weeks now or more and still haven’t received a call that my lenses are in. Called last week because I was traveling and needed something as my trial pair was only good for 2 weeks. Emily said she would call me back to make sure she could give me a trial pair and she never called me back. I called a couple days later and she was able to give me a trial pair in the meantime. I’m coming back from vacation and my lenses are about to expire again and I still haven’t heard from them that they are ready. Order was placed on 7/7 and I made the purchase in 7/6. I understand that covid is extending everything but I don’t appreciate the service I’m receiving. 1st time at this location and don’t plan to go back. I hate how I have to be calling them and wait on hold for a long time to get to speak to someone. They should call me back to let me know what’s going on.

Dr Richard Davidson is the best. He’s professional and cares about the patient. I live in MD and still cross the American Legion bridge to see him

Excellent service, Ti was super nice, very friendly and knowledgeable, gave us good advice made the shopping experience easy. She went the extra mile to sort out the issue I had with my insurance and figure out the best combination so I would pay less for the 3 pairs of glasses I needed. She was very patient while I picked my glasses. There was no wait on Saturday. I definitely recommend.

I asked for an appointment for my wife at 9.40am on Saturday, went there today (I was running late and reached at 9.50). I was told I didnt have an appointment, when I showed the appointment email they found that its for 9.40pm. So whoever took down my appointment put pm instead of am whereas the store closes at 6pm. Then I was told that apparently someone called me yesterday and left a voice mail to reschedule the wrong appointment which was a lie as nobody called. I was offered to wait and see if Dr could take an additional appointment but I didnt have enough time. Also the Google listing is not updated with proper times, it says store closes at 7pm instead of 6pm so I went to the store last week to check a few glasses but couldnt. I previously had awesome experience with the people at this location but sadly the front desk staff must have changed. Had to book a new appointment with another location

Great experience!I’ve been wearing glasses since high school this was my first visit to Visionworks. My optometrist was very good and gave me some very helpful suggestions. When picking out my new classes Alex was awesome!! He picked out my glasses first try!! The manager Ron was so helpful and the service was pretty quick and friendly.

Dr. Davidson is professional, caring, and very thorough with his eye exams. There’s no optometrist I trust more.

TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!.I had existing frames that were still good and wanted to continue to use them so I just had lenses made for them. I dont have a back up pair so to give them up for even a day would be difficult because my vision is not good. I was hoping I could take the lenses myself to Reston (which was recommended) to have them cut to save time, I was told it would be about a 2 hour wait. I drove to the Visionworks at 9am spoke to Ron the General Manager about my plans and asked for directions to the facility. Ron stated, Im going to the Sterling location to have some other lenses cut, Ill take yours with me and give you a call back today when they are finished. I admit I have lost faith in quality service and was in shock from his statement, I was so grateful!. 2 hours later Ron called and stated my glasses were ready to be picked up!..that was fast!!..I drove back to Vision Works to have Ron smiling and happy to have made my day, picked up my glasses and went on with my day. Im so happy to have found this location. Dr. Kraft, Jennifer Z. and Ron have been amazing in providing great service!. Its greatly appreciated!!...

I have been here for years now, getting regular eye tests and, some years, new glasses. I find the eye tests to be thorough and there are lot of options for glasses (frames) that usually work for me. I recommend this location for Visionworks.

This is small place just next to Greensboro metro station on the Silver line that offers a professional service. But what makes them stand out is the eye doctor himself. Very nice staff; competent eye exam; but they messed up the lenses which I realized after wearing the glasses for a week. They fixed my glasses, but I had to endure two extra rounds of headaches adjusting to my old glasses and then readjusting to the new lenses. For all that, they dont give free lens cloths and nothing but a sorry and thanks for being a customer. Sheesh ... Give me something for your messing up. Thank you but Ill take my business elsewhere next time.

I had progressive glasses for many years and couldnt handle it. I had to change back to single vision glasses. With the help of Dr. Kraft, as well as the ladies in the lobby, I finally had my problem solved. Now the new pairs of glasses work very well for me. :-)

The service I experienced doesnt deserve even a one star.Ordered glasses in December 23rd. Had to follow up about 8 times including two store visits. Finally, on the last store visit when we called and check if the product was available and they said yes. This is on Feb 16th. We visited the store a day later to pick it up. The item wasnt available and they said they would place an online order.With all this, if you tell them if youre unhappy with their service, they say they understand and that its okay. No attempt at remediation.Worst customer experience ever.

Dr. Kraft has provided me with excellent care for several years, including referrals to specialists on cataracts and a possible retina problem.

I went to this store to get my prescription glasses after seeing so many positive reviews. I was told that my glasses will be ready in one or two weeks. But after two weeks I called the store, I was told that they will be ready in another week, which is three weeks in total. I need this glasses and the delay causes BIG inconvenience to me. So disappointed.Update: The customer service contacted me quickly and had the issue resolved. They also refunded me partial cost for the inconvenience. I really appreciate their excellent services and raised the rating to 5 stars!

After receiving our eye exams, by the wonderful Dr. Nguyen, we were directed to “Shane” for our final process. Mr. Shane explained our cost, in full detail. He answered all of our questions, and ensured we received the most cost effective prices. To complete this amazing experience, the GM, Mr. Ron, greeted us and confirmed our experience was a good one. It’s a large eye glass store where a doctor takes you back into a dark room for your exam. Dr Davis was great! He didn’t push me to buy anything and he was thourough. The only thing I would recommend is that they play more appropriate music in the sitting area. I’m 28, but I still thought it was weird to hear hip hop/ r&b music in a professional setting.

Found this place because my optometrist Richard Davidson moved here. He is the best optometrist I have come across in this area.Overall great experience from online scheduling on short notice to purchase of discounted contacts and additional discounts on frames.

Everyone was so nice. Love that I could fill out the patient form online before arriving at my appointment. And I didn’t have to wait to be seen by the doctor. Also love that my contacts could be delivered to my house free of charge!

I’ve been coming here for years to do my eye exams and purchase my glasses and recently contacts. I always see Dr. Kraft and he’s great! The front desk staff has always been friendly and the lady who helped me select my glasses and process my order for my contacts was very helpful and honest. I like that she wasn’t pushy when it came to selling me a new pair of frames and she actually took the time to listen to what I was looking for. I’m horrible at remembering names but I believe it was Jennifer.

I really don’t understand why some give negative reviews for this eye doctor. I am customer since many years, have referred friends as well and we had nothing but good, if not excellent service. I tried another optometrist which was closer to my location once but immediately switched back to Visionworks. Wait time is practically zero, the staff is friendly and accommodating, Dr. Burton is thorough and most knowledgeable. For me it’s a 5 star location.

Dr. Kraft is an excellent eye doctor. We are grateful for his professionalism and expertise. This is the second year in a row he has taken care of me and my family. The VisionWorks staff is wonderful as well at handling insurance and selecting eyeglasses frames.

My first time at this location, and it is now my favorite! Dr. Kraft was friendly and extremely knowledgeable - he identified an issue with my contact lenses that no other optometrist found before, and he fixed it on the spot. I went into Visionworks a few months ago to get glasses. I was convinced to get 2 glasses for the price of one. I wore one of those pairs for a few months and then they broke. Then, I started to wear the other pair and immediately noticed the pair consistently gave me a pretty bad headache. When I went back to exchange it, they wouldnt let me. They checked the prescription, said it was accurate, and that there was nothing they could, except me buying a third pair of glasses from them. I felt cheated.

Dr. Kraft has been taking care of my eyes for 10 years now. He has kept me seeing 20/20 throughout a number of vision changes. I trust him and the staff at Visionworks and would recommend them to anyone.

Unlike others who have had poor experiences, I have had some really good experiences. I keep coming back every year for over 2 decades. It does get busy, especially on the weekends. I recommend going during the week before noon when no one is there and avoiding the weekends.

The worth place to go. The funny side when I went to get my eyeglasses I didnt feel comfortable and the retail supervisor said to me literallySir you have problem in your eyes and we have the best progressive glasses.Very very bad customer service and very bad place to visit. I asked them for refund and they keep playing around. Omg.
