I was visiting from 300 miles away and had a horrible clatter when I arrived. Wanting to be safe driving home I called for an appointment. Nothing until Wednesday was available which would not work, however a service manager called back and told me to bring the car in. Diagnosed and repaired by the end of the day at what I thought was a fair price! They were very busy and I appreciated being accommodated. I didn’t experience any of the rudeness others commented have mentioned on Yelp. Nate was my contact person and he was great.
Just WOW this dealership is not a normal place. There wasnt any pressure or rush for me to buy the truck. They also priced the vehicle right. They are a upstanding dealership. The whole experience was 2hr total. I was in and out with all my paperwork done fast. It almost took longer for them to wash and gas up the new truck then to do my paperwork. Jim salesperson and Bill the manger where extremely professional and just great people. I will be doing business with them any chance I can. Thank you Oakbrook Toyota!!! 😁🛻
At first, Mario, an advisor at Oak Brook Toyota, told me that my Camry Hybrid is not capable of Fully Synthetic Oil Change and I have to go for Conventional Oil. When I told him if Toyota Dealer at Portland, OR can (and has) already used Synthetic Oil then why Oak Brook Toyota in IL cannot. At that point, he said, That was wrong to use Synthetic Oil. Therefore, I am not entitled to use my Coupon for $49.95 for Synthetic Oil. Instead, I should go for Conventional Oil Change that would cost $70+. When I specifically denied to use anything but Synthetic Oil, he referred to the history and found out that Synthetic Oil was provided by Portland Toyota. Being not convinced, he then referred to Toyota Camry Hybrid Manual and found that my Camry Hybrid is, in fact, recommended to use either Synthetic Oil or Conventional Oil (Both).At that point, he tried to switch the subject and said that I should change Brake Oil. He also said that just as Engine Oil is changed I should also change the Brake Oil, regularly. This did not make sense to me. Engine oil is used in cylinders that carry certain fine particles. However Brake Oil system is a Closed Circuit System and is not exposed to any such particle intrusions. Also, he said that such a Brake Oil check/update would cost me $169+.At that stage, I was sure that (this so called Toyota Expert) Oak Brook Toyota Advisor is trying to Cheat Me and take me for a Big Ride 100s of Dollars. I, then, told him to do only Synthetic Oil Change and not worth going back to Oak Brook Toyota (this) advisor in future. He doesnt know any thing other than trying to extract money out of Customer(s).
Thanks to Krysten and Loraine I was able to finally achieve a goal of mine for the longest and that was to buy this beautiful M4. A huge thank you to them because they kept it real with me and were patient not pressuring at all what so ever, probably the best service I’ve ever received from any dealer. I usually NEVER leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to after the amazing experience I received from Ben! He was more than helpful with my process of purchasing a car. He went through multiple loopholes and spent a large amount of time to make sure I was well taken care of. My credit was not amazing; however, he made sure to still assist me and I was able to get a 2020 Toyota SUV! He was persistent, extremely kind, and very understanding. Never have I experienced good service at any other dealership. I would recommend him for anyone! He knows what he’s doing, he is very well prepared and knowledgeable of his job and he is an excellent cars salesman. I am so grateful that I had his assistance and help!

Oil changes and repairs always a breeze with these guys, and reasonably priced. My twelve year old car still gets 30 mpg! Nice, restful waiting room as well.
I never write reviews but thats how bad this place is. MANAGEMENT IS TERRIBLE. Car was perfect and price was okay. At the end a special package was added to the bill. I was told that it was optional which then I asked to be removed. Salesman and manager came back demanding that this is not optional and that it was never mentioned that it is optional and if I wanted to move forward the optional warranty was included no ifs ands or buts. Bottom line do you homework and dont let these sleek salespeople take advantage of you. Lied straight to my face .Stay away from this place!!!

I called the dealership last week to schedule and oil change. Told them I would wait w car if they thought it would take less than 90mins. They did think it would take less than 90 mins. I came in for my 12:30 appointment and left at 3:45. 3 hrs to change oil ! I missed picking my kid up at school . Just a total fail. Nobody came out to say “hey it’s gonna be a bit” nothing. Then they didn’t turn off the oil change light. Didn’t put air in tire so the low pressure lights still on. Just a total disappointment.

They were able to take care of our needs pretty quickly and they offered a fair price for the trade in. Only complaint is that they added paint and window protection without asking. They said it’s a mandatory purchase but Toyota as a whole says that it is an option that should be chosen. I found the finance department also to be very helpful as well. Just watch out for the hidden fees. Also sales people not very friendly.

Staff were as helpful as they could be but ran into a supply chain shortage for a 12v battery for my Prius- that the dealership nor their suppliers had this battery and reported they may not have it for the foreseeable future! I was desperate as my car doesn’t start w/o the battery and Mario from the dealership suggested I call O’Reilly auto parts down the road ( because OB Toyota doesn’t have an account w them). Thank God O’Reilly’s had my battery in stock which I bought and brought back to OB Toyota. They installed it just fine and sent me on my way. My only suggestion is for the dealership to open up an account w O’Reilly’s auto parts!

Had a headlamp out and it was a Saturday AM and I knew they closed at noon. They were able to fit me in and had me on my way within 30 minutes! So happy they could help me with this issue so promptly!!
Took the car for an oil change and asked the technician to visually take look at the rest of the car and provide a printed report. The agent at the check in counter said okay, when the car was picked up I was told the report is not available due to the employee strike and the temp staff does not know how to run one. Note, the manager is still there and all the reps at the counter are not temps but none of them know how to run a report 🤯. This is one of many times where they continue to disappoint. The manager and staff could care less on the level of service.
From the beginning it was easy to schedule my appointment via text message. I hate calls and press 1 Or 2 and so forth than WAIT. (2) the most easiest checked in. (3) everything was done within two hours time. (4) my phone wasnt hooked to bluetooth, the service sales representative Alap help me taking his time. What a great team❗👍🏽👌🏽 I give them 5 stars. Jim Robertson handled the sale fast and efficiently. His knowledge of the product exceeded all I had read about the RAV4. He also was easy to negotiate with and he made sure that I completely understood the tax incentives and all other info before making my decision to buy. The finance department was also fast and efficient making. Overall a great shopping experience.

While I appreciate that my car seemed to be thoroughly checked, I waited SO LONG despite having an appointment. If I had known it would take 3 hours I never would have gone. Also, keep in mind that if you go here you will be paying dealership prices. Parts and labor are a good 50% or more than if you went to a third party auto repair shop. And pro tip- Auto Zone runs diagnostics on your battery and alternator for free while Toyota charges ~$40. Fixing the fuse for my charging port earns you 2 stars, Toyota, but for everything else I’ll be going elsewhere.

Recently bought a vehicle from here, and all I can say is that Joelson Maldonado was amazing. I had found the car I bought online and I live near Huntsville, AL. The same day I sent out an email to request more information about the car, Joelson gives me a call and following our call sends me a video of the car. He fully disclosed all the information, and did not pressure me into the car or trying to rush the sale. Throughout the whole process he stayed in contact with me and did everything he could to help me obtain the car with minimal hassle.

It was a terrible experience, they were interested in buying my car through Kelley Bluebook cash offer, they called me and set up an appointment, they agreed to the cash offer after they inspected the car, I provided every legal documents needed, but they still gave me the run around, excuses and none sense demands, they said the manager has to sign the check, but they claim he wasnt there, tomorrow will be available, i agreed and left the car with them, and kept the title with me, second day the mouth piece called me and said the manager will be there 2 to 3 pm but not guaranteed, now this is sneaky they want to sell it before they pay me, I decided to take the car back, the sales man Jim R. hanged up the phone on me, very rude I would not trust them at all typical dishonest car salesman and the worst managers, I’m happy to sell it to Car Max with no issues at all, I would not recommend Oakbrook Toyota at all, if you go there be very skeptical of everything they say they lie like there’s no tomorrow.

Took my car in to get a new starter under warranty. Brought it in Wednesday last week it’s is now Wednesday again and I still do not have my car back. They told me yesterday (Tuesday) that they hadn’t even started the work yet AND DIDNT EVEN ORDER THE PART YET! Every time I call to check the status they tell me the person I need to talk to is at lunch and will have to call me back All I’m saying is if I had paid another mechanic to get it done it would have been done within the day, it has taken a full dealership nearly a week.
The service advisor Kevin Tonk was awesome. I made the appointment online but had my dates mixed up yet he found a way to accommodate me. He was able to get me out in less than 2 hours for a 25,000 maintenance service. Very impressive considering their main technicians are on strike. Bravo Oakbrook Toyota Westmont!

Would love to know how the service dept works. Both times Ive gone in for oil changes Ive had to wait long periods of time. Last oil change took almost two hours. I couldnt help but notice people that came in after me were serviced and left before me.Not to mention when the employee was done he left my car/house keys on the counter and walked away. I had to get up and wait for the cashier to come back to let her know the unattended car keys were mine.I have 3 free oil changes left and after that I definitely wont be returning for any other services.

All I have to say is that I am extremely sad that I didnt know about this dealership and its amazing people for our first car back in 2020. After being misled and lied to from the Ford Dealership. My family and I have finally found a dealership we can safely say will be our go to #1 for many years to come.From going to paying 640$ on the ford car to paying 500$ for a new high end corolla. To having Mr Maher and Miss Lorena working and keeping up our spirits to get us approved all I can say is that the wait is worth it.I have a credit score of 520, a collection account on my credit and just overall a bad choice that no dealership would touch. We managed to trade in the 640$ car from my brothers name into the new corolla in my name. This amazing dealership managed to get me a better rate and better car than my brother at the ford dealership who had a 700 credit score when he first took it out.How is that possible? Its because the team at Oak Brook Toyota here actually care about their customers and arent just trying to sell as many cars as possible. The service department was quite busy that day. It took 45 minutes just to get a porter to drive me home. The service representative was not particularly friendly, but previously other service members at this location had been nice to work with. They used to wash the car after service, but they did not offer or do so this time.

Everyone one was so nice and welcoming from the get go.Mr Maher who sold us the car made us feel at home with his great energy and positivity.Even with a collection account and a bad credit score they managed to get my brother qualified for a high price and better rate.They traded in my car and managed to add it to the new car even when it was negative value.I had gone to a different dealership and we were told a flat Not Possible.Miss Lorena made it possible and honestly it is thanks to her hard work and finding the best rate and hours of work that we walked away happy and with a new car. Also, Mr Maher who kept our spirits up even though the odds were stacked against us.They treat you fair and like family, this will be my dealership choice for many years to come.
This service visit was a no-cost recall fix. They were courteous, handled my issue as per our appointment, kept me updated on progress. I had expressed interest in purchasing a couple of Toyota branded items, but due to the age of my car, they no longer carry those. My service advisor actually did a web search and gave me links to comparable items to be found online. I feel like that is over and above, I certainly wasnt expecting it. Good job!
Check engine light came on the day after service (Sunday). Of course they are closed and I have to wait until Monday to take the car back 🤦🏾♀️

They tried to fit me in for it at the last minute, but given the time it was going to take they decided they needed more time. I just bought a pre-owned Sienna from Oak Brook Toyota and was very pleased with the experience. Marcus did a fantastic job during the demonstration drive and through the rest of the sales and delivery process. Joe in finance was low pressure and took the time to present my finance and extended warranty options. One of the sales managers, Bill, came out and took the time to chat with me and make sure everything was going well with the sale. Also want to recognize Kevin in service. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff, quick service, My only con is there was not a loaner car available for use.
Great service. Car was ready 4 days early. Customer Service Manager followed up promptly and provided thorough recap of work done and results.

The cashier did not have my statement ready. She gave me a statement an error from another customer which I paid not aware of the error. They could not find the keys to my car. Then they could not find my statement. Had to avoid the first payment. My statement head the incorrect address even though I bought my car there and have been a customer since 2009. It took over 1/2 hour to process my payment, correct the errors, find my keys and for me to be on my way. All for a simple oil change.
Fantastic buying experience with the Oakbrook Toyota team for a first time client! Starting with Crystal Paz’s prompt response to my online inquiry about the vehicle, followed by my salesman Blain Malarich who showed me the Highlander and helped put everything together, to Joe Perry the finance manager who set me up with excellent financing. I am so upset at this place. When I purchased my vehicle, there was an out of state form I had to fill out which I promptly returned to them so that I can receive my vehicle plates. The staff was so irresponsible nobody notified me of additional paper work thus delaying my process thus causing losses in wages because the vehicle was purchased for business. This could of not come at worse time, this truly put me at a difficult place financially
Terrible experience at the parts desk today. Two girls were there, one sealing envelopes the other on her phone. Neither greeted me when I came to the counter nor did they ask how they could help. I asked for the parts department, the one sealing envelopes called out parts after which a guy comes from the back. Also not friendly, he asks what I need and I tell him I need parts for a 2008 Prius. He then asks for the VIN. I dont have that on me so I go to car and get it. Upon return a minute later the parts guys is gone. I wait for approximately 10 minutes before leaving. The girl sealing envelopes never once days let me check on whats going on with parts guy or sorry for the wait. Not my job mentality. Bad service - will not be returning to this dealership for service or to purchase my next Toyota.
My experience with Oakbrook Toyota was overall good. Lauren in Finance made everything super simple and quick. The Internet Sales department is so-so. Not very helpful on the process. The detailing department was great as was Joe the tech guy when he went over the numerous features of the car. Syed was helpful as well.
