Honest & professional, after I thought & assumed I needed to new pads the technician showed me it was a worn rotor & told me he could machine grind it back to even, $80 compared to $275; honest business hard to find these days. Came in for brakes right at 5pm the day before Thanksgiving so you know they were ready to go home! Ended up needing to replace my wheel bearings as well which meant theyd be here after close. Will NOT be a repeat customer. I called and spoke with what appeared to be a national scheduling line. Confirmed the price of $89 for the year, make and model of car that I was bringing in. Once confirmed I scheduled the appointment for my daughter. The car was dropped off and brakes were completed timely, however when my daughter showed up to pay the bill and pickup her car the $89 brake job cost her $291. When we questioned why, we were told that she had ‘premium’ brake pads which cost more. We weren’t asked if we wanted the more expensive pads or given any options- they just did it. I emailed corporate about my concerns and they never even bothered to respond. To add insult to injury, the bill was paid by check and the electronic service didn’t deduct the payment out of the account until 5 months later.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They put the wrong lugnut on my car which caused my stud to strip which means I had to replace that out of pocket. I called the corporate office to try and resolve this and never received a call back. /the whole company is horrible, I would NEVER recommend!!!!

I had my brake done here a couple of years ago. My brake light kept coming on lately and didnt know what was going on. They made me an appointment to bring my car back in, and got everything working great. Apparently, I just needed brake fluid everything else was in perfect working order.

Great guys! This is the second car I have used them for. I made an appointment the same day with no issues. Pulled up and they pulled my truck straight in. They communicated the issues and gave me my options. Even stayed 30 mins past closing to get me finished. Would recommend to anyone needing brakes. Ernest is the man!

Top notch service. Jake and his crew give personalized attention. My first stop there was when my Ford dealer said I needed brakes soon. Jake said I was good and he was right. I then brought my 1970 Charger R/T for brakes. He treated my car like his own. We ended up converting from manual front drums to power disc brakes. I finally feel comfortable to drive it on busy roads instead of sitting in my garage gathering dust. My truck 8000 miles later still has more miles to run before it needs brakes. After being told by a dealership service department I needed brakes and the cost was way. too high, I decided to come to this location Brakes for Less in Irmo. What I found was great customer service and total honesty. The technician advised I did not need to replacement my brakes they were still good. He recommended that I come back in 3 months and he would check them again. I will definitely do as he suggested. Now that’s service.

Honest company, which is rare in this industry. Twice I have gone in thinking I needed new brakes, and received a call stating that my brakes were fine and I wouldnt be charged anything. Really appreciate it!

Buyer beware. I had a quote from a full service auto place and went here to see if they were lower price as basic brake service is pretty straight forward. Bottom line is they tried to sell me new rotors that I did not need because there was some rust on them and their machines could not resurface them. Big warning sign that they were trying to up sell me and were not a capable brake shop. Went to the full service shop for lower price with resurfaced rotors. Again, buyer beware.

There were friendly I just feel they try to con me into buying the more expensive brakes because Im a women. Also they take FOREVER . And I ask them how many people was ahead of my he said none. I still waited an hour an a half

Get you right, but are EXPENSIVE! Dont go there thinking you are going to spend the advertised price. I had no choice because the place i usually go to was closed and i needed it done asap.Paid twice the amount for the same service. I wouldve saved $180. One and done for me.

Brakes- 4- Less is a great place to get your brakes done! I went in with really squeaky brakes and I havent heard any squeaking noises since they fixed my brakes. Also, they have excellent prices! Will definitely do business here in the future.

Best Brakes 4 Less in the state of SC

So. I called around 4:30 to ask about how much it was to get my brakes done. And I was there within 30 mins. They look me right in. The two guys that are working to night gave me a great deal and working after hours for me. Thanks so much guys.

I went there today, and the service and price was GREAT!!!!! It was good to to be able to stop so well again.

Ervin is a true professional. Went in to get brake pads changed cause of the dreaded squeak, told me pads are like new. Told me what the issue was and took care of it, saving me even more money. I will be back.

They gouge the prices...... try to run the costs up on your brake job. Recently I was contacted by the GM Kelly Mathews who cursed me for my post and then threaten me. This place should be the last place to have a brake job done...... and even then, you better off doing it yourself or getting anybody else to do it. This is a scam shop, not a brake shop.

This has been the second time I have visited this location and I am so impressed with the professionalism at this establishment. Everyone is super helpful and friendly, they won’t sell you something you don’t need like most dealerships will.

I’ve had my vehicle serviced twice through Breaks-4-Less. Both times the staff were friendly, patient, and understanding. They took the time to explain the damage and the repairs, and the rates were the best in town. Truly a sincere, honest, business.

Service was prompt and the people who work there were very helpful. We were from out of town and had problems, they fixed us up and put us back on the road in under 30 mins. They also didnt charge us to fix the problem.

Tried to sell me new calipers on my rear wheels because they were locked upMy e-brake was on(which is why my rear wheels were locked up), and I had to tell them it was; they couldnt figure it out themselves. (They had also driven it into the shop from the lot WITH the e-brake up.)They tried to upsell me multiple times even after I declined; was told over the phone twice that I would be out in an hour, and Im still waiting on them to pick up the front brake pads 2 hours and 45 minutes later.I am very displeased.

Worst service I have very experienced!!! Did not stand behind their warranty and EXCESSIVELY overcharged for part. They even put the part in without my prior approval and would not take it back. Took my vehicle to other mechanic and they had to replace the replacement part that was under warranty at Brakes for Less and was only charged a fraction for the part, let alone the time When we tried to take the part back (again under 30 day warranty) Breaks For Less refused to take it back. DO NOT GO TO BREAKS FOR LESS AT 1010 DUTCH FORK RD.

Had my truck towed here on a saturday. They couldnt look at it until later in the evening. I needed it by the next day to go out of town for work. The guy I spoke with stayed a few extra hours past closing time to get it done for me. Couldnt ask for better customer service. I highly recommend this place.

All cars are quoted the same price until you actually arrive. Then comes the upgrades. When you confront the phone center that makes the appointment they tell you they are not allowed to quote any other price even though I told them the year make and model. Another business with no ethics!!!

Recently, I visited the Brakes-4- Less location in Irmo, South Carolina. Chris Terrel greeted me and reviewed the shaking issues with my brakes. After driving my vehicle, Chris determined the front rotors needed to be machined. My front two wheels were removed, inspected the brake system for wear and explained the issue to me. Within a short period of time, my vehicle was test driven and returned to me. Chris and the team at Brakes-4-Less delivered on time and for the advertised price! I will be taking my wifes Suburban in this weekend for them to replace her brakes.

I will continue to visit this store for the needs of our brakes. The customer service was well presented and they know their business.

My experience with this location was HORRIBLE to say the least. Prior to arriving, I called to get an estimate on the parts and labor for new brakes on my vehicle. When I arrived, the technician added more to the price due to a sensor for my brakes. The parts company delivered the incorrect part for my vehicle twice which delayed the completion time. (I arrived at 9AM and I was there until 1 PM, by the way). Then, when I checked out, the price was $120 more than what was quoted. As I got in to my vehicle, the technician said that the dashboard would still show the error that the sensor was supposed to replace. So now I have 4 hours wasted, an over priced brake change, and a sensor that does not even fix the problem on my vehicle. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

I came into B 4 L with my Tundra vibrating like a 7.0 earthquake after Pep boys had done by brakes and changed tires. They were so committed to finding the problem they test drove the heck out of it and found that the rear brake drums installed were faulty. They installed new rear drums and my Sienna runs like a charm. I know where to go next time.

I was very disappointed with the customer service at this location. The representative behind the counter didnt care about the customer or the service he was providing. There was no greeting or anything just asked if I could leave the vehicle for a few hours with no estimate with how long it would be. None the less I was digusted and told him Ill spend my money elsewhere.

When you call to schedule be aware the 139 special is for the crap brakes with 12 k miles. Also the person couldnt answer the simplest question regarding the pads and didnt know where their locations are.
