Bill and Jeff are really great to work with. My friend told me to go there and I was not disappointed. They had the exact car I had been searching for and at a fair price, it was inline with what I had researched. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was inspected before turning the keys over to me. After my test drive I noted a concern with the brakes. Bill had them inspected and were replaced! Bill was super patient while I sorted out banking and loan issues. He even helped me find the right people to work with for the loan and let me know if there are ever any issues with the car I should come straight to him for help. Buying a car from Bill really emphasizes the power of local relationships and the importance of community. I will definitely send people your way!
I bought a 2017 Audi Q3 from Bill and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. It was the first time I met him and it felt like I’ve known him forever. He was more than willing to work with me for a final price and made sure the car was exactly for me. They took very good care of me and made sure my monthly payments were affordable. I highly recommend checking these guys out! Great people down there!
I sold my car here last month. It was very convenient. They provide great service. The whole process took less than an hour. When you agree on the price and provide the car title, they will give you a check so that you can cash at the bank near by before leaving your car to them. I guess you can get a bit higher price if you sell on craigslist or other online market places. But if you want a safe, quick, and seamless transaction, I highly recommend this car dealer.
Bill and Jeff are possibly the only honest car salesmen out there. Bill helped me find the right car and make an informed decision, even though I ended up opting for a lease. He is genuinely helpful and enjoys guiding buyers towards smart decisions, rather than pushing them into a sale. He clearly prioritizes building customer relationships. His desk is usually a mess, but dont let that fool you... his cars and his intentions are spotless. I highly recommend you give him a call.
We recently bought a car through Bill Card at Automotive Consultants in Ithaca. I have never felt so taken care of in a car buying experience! Every step of the way, we felt very confident that we were getting the best deal and the best customer service. We learned so much about the car buying process, which was very helpful especially during these uncertain times when every industry is affected by Covid. Its a priority of his to get his customers a quality, reliable car, and he makes sure of that. We knew we werent going to get the run around, or risk buying something that wasnt as reliable as it appeared. Bill is an excellent communicator and made us feel like we were his only clients. He made the whole process very smooth and easy, while getting us exactly what we were looking for.I highly recommend Bill Card and Automotive Consultants for your next car purchase! They will take care of you like you are family - which is a really great way to buy a car :)
I have no clue what that other guy is talking about. I just purchased a car there and got the utmost top notch service. They would not let me purchase the vehicle until they made sure I looked it over thoroughly. If you want a dealer that will make sure you get the best service possible, come to these guys. They care about the customer.
I had a great experience with Bill. I got the car I was looking for at a fair price. I’m still happy about it months later. I even got set up with a good mechanic for maintenance needs!
Thank you bill. Maybe we can do business again but Im never buying a vehicle with high mileage again. I drive way 2 much for all that. I know you do what you can to help.
Bought a battery from Battery Warehouse which this guy owns exactly 1 year ago. Special order battery that I paid for with a credit card. Spent $260 on the battery, sent my wife down to pick it up when it came in, and he gave her no paperwork or receipt for the battery. Now a year later, the battery is bad and he says too bad, you dont have a receipt. Claims he never, ever, ever, would forget to give the receipt to a customer. I have the credit card statement of when I bought it and how much I paid for it. Do you think this guy would offer to do anything extra to maybe look through his files to help a customer out? No way!....All I got was I cant do anything without a Battery Warehouse receipt. YOU NEVER GAVE US ONE! Terrible customer service, didnt offer to help in any way, shape or form. If I could give 0 stars I would!Huh, as you were walking out of automotive consultants on Saturday, you told me you owned the shack you sell batteries out of too. Must be I didnt hear you correctly. My apologies
Junk cars at with tons of miles . Way over priced.
My family bought a couple cars through them over the years and from what we could tell, always got the best price possible and worked with the owner, Bill Card himself at all steps of the transaction to make sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The internet has probably since changed the car business dramatically, but it doesnt change the integrity Mr. Card has (in a business that has a reputation of being shady, however deserved or undeserved) nor how hard he works for his clientele to get the exact kind of car they need at the best price possible. Hard to imagine buying anywhere else and an asset to the community.
Highly recommend buying a vehicle from Bill. Bought a vehicle last week for a fair price and it runs great. Bill and his salesman Jeff were straight up and honest about everything. I didnt feel like a got swindled after leaving his lot. Please do yourself a favor. Dont look on Craigslist and definitely DO NOT go to Maguires for a used vehicle. Ive done both and hasnt worked out in my favor.Go to Automotive Consultants and get yourself a reliable vehicle. You will not be disappointed.THANK YOU BILL!
Got my Subaru here 2 years ago. Its been the most dependable car Ive ever owned and it was very affordable!!
The people were great and they worked with me while I was waiting for my bank to approve my loan, but everything that they said they would address before I purchased the truck they didn’t do or didn’t do properly.First problem - the tire pressure sensor. The light for the tire pressure was on when I test drove it. When I said something about it they said that they would fix it. They told me that they replaced the bad sensor, but the light came back on an hour after leaving the dealership. I have checked the pressure in my tires numerous times, it is right, they didn’t replace a sensor.Second problem - the car pulling to the right. Also when I test drove it I told them the the truck pulled to the right rather bad. They said they would get an alignment done and it seemed fine for a day, but it wasn’t. So if they did an alignment it wasn’t done well, either that or if they noticed that it was another problem causing the pull to the right they ignored it.Third problem - Apparently there was a new fuel pump put in the truck before I bought it. I cannot remember if they told me that this was done while I was purchasing the truck, but 11 days after I drove off the lot my truck broke down on the side of the road. I had to use my AAA miles to get it towed to the shop they get their repairs done at (Kuntry Kustoms - Ithaca). I was told that when they replaced the fuel pump that they broke a clip on a fuel line which caused my fuel line to pop off and thus why my truck broke down. So the place that they take their vehicles to for repairs don’t even properly repair things.Fourth problem - Before purchasing my vehicle I was told that they do a 50 (or whatever number) point inspection on the vehicle to make sure everything is running okay. Well come the winter I had to put the heat on, my truck was blowing cold air when it sat (to warm up, at a stop sign or light) or if you had the heat up too high and you weren’t going fast enough. Turns out my truck was so low on coolant it wouldn’t heat my truck unless it was in motion. There was enough coolant so the gauge in the truck showed that the truck wasn’t overheating, but there wasn’t enough to heat my truck. I would have assumed that checking the coolant levels in the truck would be apart of their point inspection. If it is, they didn’t look very well.Fifth problem - my Cabin air filter. The door to the filter was missing a screw and the filter itself was so dirty that it was causing the heat (when there was heat) to barley blow out of the vents. Clearly didnt’ take a good look at this during their 50 or whatever point check. All in all I am incredibly disappointed with the number of problems that I have had with my truck not even 2 months after purchasing the vehicle. I will never purchase a vehicle from Automotive Consultants again and I definitely will never be reaching out to Kuntry Kustoms to work on my vehicle. Automotive Consultants should think about finding a different shop because clearly they are part of the problem as well.
Beware they might scam you. I bought a used car from them. The steering creaked everytime you turned it so they said come back to pick it up in a week after they have replaced the front ball joints. When I came to buy the car a week later they said they had replaced the front joints but the steering might still creak until the grease sets in. I thought they must have replaced the joints if they said so. They hadnt. When I went back, the people who sold it to me werent there. The owner very angrily said he couldnt do anything about it, its not something I can throw a hundred dollars at to make the kid happy. They tricked me, and they might trick you, so be careful, and if possible avoid them entirely.
A nice pace
Good prices
Horrible vehicles been repairing non stop since I bought it only put 5 thousands miles on it and have to buy another car because the motor is shot
