Stopped in to ask about purchasing some volvo rims for the volvo I just bought from them used. I noticed the rims on the car are the wrong size so wanted to see if they would maybe discount the price of some new rims that are the proper size. They basically laughed in my face. Then when I was leaving said good luck with your car sarcastically. I felt like thanks for buying a car now we want nothing to do with you. NEVER will I go back there or recommend anyone to go there.
First time owner of a Volvo. I was not sure which door to use. A polite gentleman asked if I needed help. I did. He directed me where to take my Volvo for service. The service and the mechanics that serviced my car was through. The customer service representative answered all my questions. Very help and amiable.
Had to fix my parents Volvo because I knocked a side view mirror off by accident. They helped out a ton when they found a second hand side view mirror (exactly the same one, color and all) from a car that was wrecked and installed it on my parents car for less than like 1/4 of the price of getting a brand new one.
Ricky Russo was great. I got the car I wanted at a price that worked for me. The entire process was done via txt and Ricky let me know when new incentives were available on the Volvo I was looking for. I left for Ithaca at 3:00 from Rochester and was in my new car and headed home by 6:00. Ricky and team made is really easy for me and the best part - no games! Telling all my family and friend to make the drive, totally worth it.
We have a Volvo XC-60 that has been serviced at Maguire in Ithaca for the past couple of years (since we moved to this area). We are very happy with the service provided after three or four times the car has been serviced by Maguire. No issues - every service completed in a timely manner and at the expected cost.
Michael Kaufman was a huge help in finding me the perfect car for my needs while taking into account my budget. He was super patient and very knowledgeable. Ended up with a car I did not anticipate loving! Great experience!

First 10,000 service on our new VW Jetta and what I thought my wife was just getting an oil change, $150 dollars later I asked why so much. Didn’t realize she was getting the service done. Didn’t realize with VW that first service wasn’t included, that’s what you see advertised. So with the service includes fluid checks and brakes and tire rotation. I noticed when she got home tires we NOT rotated. There’s a factory sticker on front drivers wheel. Take a guess, still on the front. Shouldn’t that wheel be on the back of of the car if you actually rotated the tires? Drive an hour away to purchase a vehicle and to pay for service that never happened. NEVER AGAIN will we be back

Let me start by saying, I never post bad reviews, EVER, but it seems to be the only way to get someones attention at Maquire. Nice selection of vehicles and ok, if you dont want any service after the sale. After my first bad experience (which involved them not honoring a rust warranty we had purchased), we decided to try again, simply because it was the only place that had the car we wanted. Unfortunately, the 2nd time around was no better than the first. When we went to test drive the vehicle, the battery was dead. No big deal, they jumped it and we were able to drive it. We decided to purchase the vehicle and we were told it needed to have the inspection done and the battery checked out. Apparently, in order for it to pass the inspection, we had to drive the vehicle for 40 miles, no problem since we live 45 minutes away. They were nice enough to let us take the car home that night and bring it back the next day to get the inspection cleared up. The very next day, after they fixed it, the battery is dead again and the car wont start. I called both the manager and the person who sold us the car over a dozen times over the course of the next 4 days, with no response from either of them. Luckily, we have two other vehicles so we could still get where we needed to go. Finally, I was able to get the manager on the phone who told me, no problem, go get a new battery and send me the receipt for reimbursement. It has been 8 weeks since I submitted the reimbursement and I still have not received it. When I asked the manager about it two weeks ago, I was told he submitted it and would check on it. I still have not heard back or received a check. More hassle than its worth to continue to pursue this further, which was exactly my thought with the first bad experience. Definitely will not be purchasing from them again.
