I had a great experience with Sales Consultant Nate Barton. We originally went in after using Capital One Auto Navigator and I was disappointed to find that some of the vehicles I found online were not at the Ithaca location. He assured me we should be able to find something that met my needs. It was a quick and easy process (for buying a car, at least) and I was in and out in 4 hours with a great deal. Sold us a car that experienced transmission failure in a year after being driven less than 9000 miles. Offered to have us pay the value of the car for a new transmission. I would recommend shopping out of town for anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

My wife and I made a last minute appointment with Nate on 8/23 @ 6:30 pm. I believe we didn’t leave until roughly 10:30 pm and in that time Nate was great.His personality, knowledge of the process made the entire experience pleasant.Upon reflecting on the experience, we will be back in the future but not because of a car but because of Nate as after about 15 minutes with him it was as if we had known him for a long time.I do hope that Maguire really does realize what a tremendous employee, but more importantly, the person that Nate is.

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone getting their vehicle serviced. Took my car which is 3years old and has less than 30k miles there for the annual inspection, and to have an additional key fob made. I was contacted by the service desk indicating that my car needed new front brakes which I OKd. Upon retrieving my car the push start did not work, and neither did the key fobs; mind you Ive never had any issues with the key fob or starting my car prior to them working on it. I was then told by the service desk that I had a faulty brake switch, how convenient on their part that the switch failed as they serviced my car. Far from a conspiracy theorist, but the timing of the switch failure and their servicing the car cannot be coincidental. If youre thinking of getting your car serviced I would definitely stay clear of this dealership, theyve definitely earned this one star

The gradual decline in EV prices was a pleasant surprise, as was the NYSERDA rebate. Have good inventory. Good luck guys! Sell lots of EVs... Only reason I wont regularly visit this Nissan is because I live a couple counties away, and another dealership is closer which I can use for routine service...

Just leased a Nissan Leaf from Maguire. I really appreciate that they had them in stock, theyre the only ones in the Binghamton/Elmira/Ithaca area that regularly do from what Ive seen. The lease deal was just insanely good. I couldnt finance a used Leaf for what Im paying. I would 100% recommend Maguire, the company seems very eager to earn and keep your business, and make sure you end up in the right car. I hope to not need to shop for another car for at least 3 years, but Im sure the next car I get will be from Maguire as well.

I went to this dealership not really knowing what I needed to do or what I was looking for. This was the first time I went to any dealership at all. It was honestly one of the best experiences Ive had.When we first arrived Teresa Gentile came out to greet my Fiance, and me. She was warm, friendly, calm, and super patient with me.We went over everything I was looking for in a car. We discussed everything from features, performance, how many miles Id be driving a day, all the way to color of the car.I asked a thousand questions, and no matter what I asked Teresa was there to answer them. She took everything I told her I wanted and found the perfect car at the perfect price. It only took a couple hours to get the car picked and paperwork filled out.When I came back to pick the car up I was having trouble getting insured at a reasonable price. Everyone was coming back with quotes up to 3x the cost of the car payments themselves. I was really worried that this was going to mess everything up. I could afford $350 a month, but not if insurance was going to be $860 on top of that PER MONTH. Lucky for me I had Teresa to tell me it was going to be alright, and got me on the phone with insurance reps she trusts. After a while on the phone with Suzanne (the insurance rep) we were able to get my insurance payments down to $169 a month!I will ALWAYS recommend Teresa Gentile to anyone asking for help finding the perfect car. She made what would have been nerve wrecking and stressful task into an easy, enjoyable experience.

I have leased with Maguire Nissan going on 6 years. I have appreciated the salespersons with whom I have worked with over the years and the accessibility to Tim and Phil Maguire.When I had a collision with a deer last year Mr Maguire gave me the same Nissan Rogue that I have leased from them over the 6 years free of charge while they meticulously rebuilt the exterior of my front end. I appreciated their willingness to go over and above to help me when I needed it most and I plan to once again lease my 3rd Rogue with them.

It took over a month in total with a lot of unexpected things, like it took a few weeks compared to a few hours I was told, bad battery after leaving the car there and cracked windshield when I picked up the car. Good thing is through communication they took care of the battery and windshield. I understand the pandemic situation and I would like to thank David Knight to be patient and helpful.

Worst experience of my life! I took my car in for a diagnostic 4 weeks ago and ended up needing a new transmission. One of the technicians had to have emergency surgery and there was no other technician qualified with credentialing to continue the testing that was required by Nissan to finished the job. This put me out a week and a half on top of the week that it was already there. When I called to see how the process was going they told me about the technichian being out. Never did they call me to communicate anything to me! I had to call everyother day to follow up on the process because they didnt have the decency to call me and give me an update. Then the guys that I was communicating with Doug goes out on maternity leave and doesnt communicate with the manager Steve. I asked if they could possible give me a rental because they already delayed my process by a week and a half and they said no. I spoke to Steve last week thursday and they finally was able to order my transmission. I call today because I called yesterday and no one returned my call and Doug informs me that they ordered my part on Monday. I said Steve told me last week the part was ordered and now your telling me it was ordered Monday? He said they had to cancel my order and re-order it because they moved locations! This place is an absolute joke! I hope that ehen they actually do the job I dont die from a car accident because they probably installed the part wrong! I will never recommend anyone to this place! I am fisgusted by their unprofessionalism!

My visit to Maguire Nissan was my third time buying a car. The first time was unremarkable, the second was okay, and today, the third, was pretty great. Unless Amazon starts shipping cars, I dont see how buying a car could be any smoother or convenient than the Maguire process.When we arrived at Maguire Nissan, we were greeted by Matt Armstrong (our salesman) who quickly introduced us to the Maguire car buying philosophy (no haggling, no hassling, no problems, and a very fair price) and had us out test driving a Rogue before we knew it. Matt was informative, friendly, and made sure that we were comfortable while testing the car. After the test drive, we spoke about payment and financing options, selected the best choice for our family, and then we were on the way home with a new car.Overall, I cannot recommend Maguire or Matt Armstrong enough. If you need to buy a car, and live in the Ithaca area, you should not hesitate to make Maguire your first (and last) stop.

This place is definitely a rip off. The diagnostic fee of $120. plus tax. Then to top it off, the diagnostic fee doesnt come off the cost if the repair. Definitely wont be returning. Too expensive but as they say they always get women with car repairs.

I went to four different dealerships prior to Maguire and everyone told me i was to upside down. To get into a traverse with a decent payment. Unfortunately due to construction the atmosphere for buying the car wasn’t ideal and there was some confusion with paperwork but it all seemed to work out good. Maguire is a rip off. I dropped my car off to see why my lock system isnt working. They morning I dropped it off the guy never had me sign anything or told me it would be a diagnosis fee. The next day they called asking if I had another key fob but the vehicle was only sold with one in promise of getting another fob. No one never mentioned a fee then. The battery in the fob went dead so I replaced it and it worked for a few days before it stopped. So in order for me to get in and out and secure the vehicle I removed the key from the fob until I was able to get it checked out. Then all of a sudden this access stopped working so my vehicle was never secure so I had to leave one door open with the rest secured. I never received a call the second day the car was at the location so I called. Apparently the whole lock needs replacing and keys need to be cut and fob programming. 532 dollars. Huh??? Are you serious? Im sorry I cant afford that right now. Well there is a 200 dollar diagnosed fee. What??? I understand policy if you were told it in the beginning or signed something agreeing to it but I never did either. This is something that people should told or signed for at the time of drop off.

I leased car in March of this year. It was a bit of a roller coaster of the situation. The salesman were so eager to close the deal that they insisted that it was not necessary for me to have my car pre inspected by Nissan corporate. Had I had my car inspected by Nissan corporate, I am 100% certain that it would have passed and I would not have had a bill come to me for @ $500 On top of that, the new car had a dent in the trunk hood, that I didnt discover until I had gotten it home. But most recently I brought my car in for its first oil change. I had inquired about the first oil change being free because I thought that was part of the deal that was spoken to me in March. The woman at the counter said she would check. When I came back to pay my bill, it was $89. Im just shocked that an oil change is almost $100. My tires were not even rotated. The woman told me that my car was freshly washed and ready for me like car washes arent a free thing that are included. When I went to find my car, I had to take another look, because I was looking for a clean car. My car was covered in white soap residue, and there were still bugs on the hood. I also asked them to check the windshield washer fluid sprayers, because theyre very weak. The report was that theyre operating to the factory standard. Which is unfortunate because they are terrible. I feel like I got a bum deal with a lemon of a new car. And part of me feels like it wasnt by accident.

Sub par customer service. Get told the car will be in by a certain time and complete by a specific time, car was not looked at until after the time the car was needed back. This caused half the work needed to not be done. Spoke with the owner and he did not seem to want to offer anything to make it right. So the problem they could not find is now an obvious problem found. So giving them the benefit of the doubt I called to make see if issue was covered under the extended warranty. It was not so I ask what would it cost to bring the car in and have it replaced. I said this is what I need, the part broken at the flange hanging. I was told I had to bring the car in for them to verify it was broken then bring it back for repair. I have a hour drive one way. But realistically you cant give me a price on one simple part and labor without talking to parts and the tech. It is obvious they dont want my business. Too bad, they lost two new car sales because of this already.

Recently totaled my car and had to get myself a new one. Am awful at picking put cars and pretty much picked the first one I looked at. Like buying any car from. Anywhere you always can run into a few minor bugs and I did. I asked of I could do there car exchange program and my salesmen Colin Chapman jumped into action, even while I was at work, sending me pictures and even trying out cars to get a feel if Id like them. The end product was satisfaction with a beautiful piece of German ingenuity.

I went to dealership to look at two Toyota 2016 Siennas, each advertised as one owner vehicles. Turns out that they were Enterprise fleet vehicles purchased by Maguire in Illinois.The first vehicle stank. Literally. Showed a great deal of wear and tear.The second vehicle, priced at 21999 Sat on top of a puddle of oil. Starting the van caused it to throw oil everywhere.The salesman was embarrassed and apologized profusely.The salesman had made a point of the mechanical inspections their vehicles received prior to sale. I stated that I was very disappointed in the condition of both vehicles.The manager showed up and asked if he could do anything to help the sale. I stated again that I had no faith in their maintenance. He argued with me that mistakes happen. No apology for inconveniencing me. He tried to make me feel that it the situation was my fault.A very poor experience.

Worst experience ever. I work in customer service & I definitely do not recommend going here. I wanted to trade in my car & I told the guy I didnt want my car payments to go over a certain amount. He got me interested in a car & I asked what it would run monthly & he said an amount that I could deal with so we went forward & when he brought back numbers it was about twice the amount that he said. Plus only giving me $1000 for a trade in...I already looked up the trade in value & there was no way in hell... Needless to say I walked out.

Car purchasing is (highly) stressful, but I had as positive an experience as could be imagined working with the salesperson who I was fortunate to meet when I first walked in to start my search. I worked with Colin Chapman, who was honest with me about car features/how they might fit with my needs and preferences, open and transparent about parts of the car purchasing process that I wasnt super familiar with, and was EXTREMELY diligent in working hard to find me the car that I wanted. When the exact vehicle I wanted was sold to someone else, he persisted over a period of essentially two straight months to keep me in the loop about new acquisitions and opportunities to walk away with the car that I wanted. In short, a process that could have been far more painful, stressful, and financially problematic ended up being still stressful (because thats what it is) but manageable and less isolating of an experience because of Colins work. Im not sure what its like to purchase cars with other salespersons because this was my first time buying and Ive also heard negative things about some locations in the area, but my experience was very positive.

Being a former sales manager, I was thoroughly impressed by his outstanding patience, timeliness, knowledge, attention to detail and customer service skills throughout our transaction. He took the time to explain every detail on the car and was very thorough about numbers. Afterwards, he even went the extra mile (literally) and helped us drive the new vehicle home!Unfortunately, the vehicle broke down less than 24 hours after purchase. This certainly reflects more on the service department, but I will keep this review updated once fixes are made.Overall I would still 100% recommend this dealership. Christina brotherton was great but it took 4 technitians to do an alignment that I had to go into the service department to show them how and still wasnt rite. took the Nissan titan back to have it fixed and still isnt rite. And now my tie rod end is so chewed up it needs to be replaced. very disappointed . and now I have to fix the alignment myself after we paid to have it done .

They are the only dealer in town and they act like it. Parts department charges full MSRP for everything. Ive bought parts from an out of town dealer with overnight shipping and still saved money. Service department doesnt answer questions, they just make appointments. But, hey theres free shuttle and coffee while you wait...

I just bought my first vehicle and boy was it an experience. I was very underprepared and super uneducated about the car buying process. Pablo Canales came to my rescue. He patiently dealt with my endless questions, and my inability to make a decision until the bitter end. I finally signed on my first car purchase today (after a month of indecision) on an Orange Jeep Renegade Latitude and I couldnt be happier. We had an amazing experience! We went to all the Maguire dealerships in Ithaca and some dealerships in Elmira but Maguire Nissan blew everyone out of the water. Brandon Chaffee was a great salesperson from start to finish and ultimately one of the reasons we chose to do business here. Not only did we not feel any pressure (since theyre non commission) but he was knowledgable about the cars in the lot and genuinely interested in putting us in a vehicle that was a good fit for our family. They offered us a fair price for our trade in and combined with their up front lowest pricing guarantee no other dealership came even close to their offer (we looked, believe us). If we had to do it all over again we would definitely come back! Thank you for our new Nissan Rogue!!

I found this dealership very deceiving and deceptive in advertizing their used cars.. BEWARE.. after finding a nice used car online with photos and a VIDEO which looked BEAUTIFUL, and calling down to confirm they still had it, I made the 75 plus mile ride to check it out... TOTAL GHETTO RIDE!mismatched tires, very dirty inside and out, stone bruises everywhere, as if it rode behind a gravel truck.. paint chipped scratched all over, busted windshield, and STINK inside .. to top it off a fast food large shake dumped on the floor with a straw, . we walked away.. total waste of a day.. shop around and be careful...

Had a fantastic experience here !! Im a very picky person and dont know much about cars in the slightest other then if I think its cute or not and I wanted to be safe in the winter. The sales man was very patient with me and my list of wants, and also needing to stay under a budget. He also was very flexible with my work schedule which is very important to me being that I work in retail management so I dont have much free time. I told him what I wanted and the one day a week I had time to go car shopping he had a list of cars all picked out brought me to every car lot maguire has to look at all my options! Got me in my new car that day! I was very anxious about this whole thing being this is my first car purchase by myself but Colin completely changed my perspective and made the experience very easy, knowledgeable, and so fun! I actually asked if I could stop back down for some of his bussiness cards to give to a couple friends and family because everyone LOVES my new car its adorable and safe in the snow! and they all know how annoying and anxious I get with every big decision I have to make.

We met with Matt Notarfonzo on Jan. 22nd, and purchased a Nissan Altima. Matt was very knowledgable, answered all of our questions, and was very personable. My Husband and I Turned in our Morano that we had bought from then and got a Rouge. We did all the paper work and everything looked good. A couple months later when we checked my husbands credit score went down. it turns out this dealership never reported to Nissan that we had turned in our Morano. Nissan said we owed $2000 and also had issued a repo for a car we didnt have. My husbands credit got ruined because of this dealership and we had to pay Nissan $2000. When we contacted the dealership they claimed it was not their fault. My husbands credit did not get fixed and when we checked on our account it said we missed our first payment which at the dealership we were told that the down payment would cover the first month. It turns out it was not covered and we had to pay all the late fees. I will never buy another car from here or even Nissan. Very disappointing.

Special thanks to mike correll, thom, kevin, matt Armstrong, and ukiah! I started the process with mike correll, great friend, great sales professional. My truck, that i unfortunately baught elsewhere, was nickle and diming me. I wanted to get out of it. I wanted a 16 altima. The maguire team put a more than fair price in my trade. I was quite upside down quite a bit, so to speak. They tried verry hard to help me out. unfortunately, with as much negative equity, my only choice was to buy new. This is where ukiah and matt helped me. Being that i had to but new, mike coulnt help. He sells at vw/Volvo/kia/toyota. I specifically wanted a nissan, as ive had great luck with nissan in the past. The sales team at nissan, gave me a warranty and auto saver at a great price. They also got me financed right there. My local bank later gave me a little better rate. Maguire can get you great rates, but, my credit wasnt super appealing at tgis point. Thank you Maguires for getting me out of my jalopy, and for being super patient and accommodating! Everyone i worked with was great!

I was lied to about multiple aspects of what was suppose to be done while my car was with you guys. Then when I called out the guy that sold me the car he flat out denied he had told me anything. I gave you guys multiple chances to make things right with me but all you know how to do is lie and then accuse the customer of being the liar. The hell with you people.

In the past Ive had nothing but bad experiences when it came to buying a car. I decided to check out the Maguire Dealership to see what they had to offer. I went to the Nissan/Ford store because I was interested in trading in my gas hog for a Nissan Altima. I was greeted by a saleswoman named Sayre Wilson. She immediately made me feel comfortable and made me feel at home. She showed me a number of Altimas in many different colors. I was able to select the exterior and interior colors that I wanted. We took the vehicle for a test drive. Sayre was able to answer any and all questions that I had about the vehicle. Her knowledge was unexpected and amazing. She was able to explain to me all the features of the vehicle including what was under the hood. When we got back to the dealership we sat down and filled out an application. I received an approval quite quickly. Sayre went over all the numbers with me and explained everything thoroughly. I didnt feel pressured and I was extremely happy with the amount that I received for my trade. I decided to take the offer and I felt good about it. Sayre was so patient and thorough about the process. There was never a moment that I felt like I was being taken advantage of. She went over all the steps of the car buying process with me as well as all the warranty information. That same day I was driving around in my new 2014 Nissan Altima and I was extremely happy! This process of buying a vehicle was one of the best experiences Ive ever had.
