Took my vehicle in for an oil change. Not even 4 miles after driving away my vehicle started smoking heavily with white smoke. When I pulled over I noticed oil dripping from the undercarriage of the passenger side. I called the location back and they told me to drive it back to the shop. When I refused saying it wasn’t safe they sent out a new tech. When the tech arrived he looked around the whole vehicle stating it wasn’t oil leaking. And couldn’t find the exact location of the leak. He took pictures and videos and was sending them to someone. After over an hour of taking pictures and videos and visually looking over the vehicle he came up to with the supposed GM on the phone who stated after viewing pictures and videos sent to him from the tech that they didn’t do anything and they are not at fault. The tech left with out a word and left me on the side of the road. My vehicle has has no issues or leaks until after I received this service but after getting a simple oil change now something is wrong and leaking making my vehicle underivable and stuck on the side of a busy highway waiting for a tow truck.

I was visiting from South Carolina and my coolant was running hot. I called and spoke with Christina. She assured me they would be able to get me in and out quickly. Christina ended up being my tech and did an awesome job with my radiator flush. The manager, Aaron was extremely active in each bay. He was assisting each tech while servicing his own bay. I was very impressed by the team work here and the in the moment coaching!! Way to go y’all!

Apparently my car said it needed and oil change and didn’t. The guy reset the system and let me know when to come back. I’m happy they didn’t just do it anyway for the money and cared about me as a customer. I always go here and will continue to do so for oil changes.

Paid for an oil change didnt check my other fluids fill my tires with air liked I asked. Very poor value. Employees acted like I was bothering them and were extremely rude. Also broke my plastic protector underneath my car and didnt say anything about it. I heard it loudly scraping on the bottom of my car.

Everything seems fine. However after I declined replacing air filters, the tech under my hood asked the attendant if she sold it. This made me uncomfortable. I can’t stand when anybody asks me if I want to pay extra for the air filter when I know they could just clean it with an air blower or by hand right there. Furthermore, now it’s made public to the technician. Worst case scenario in my own paranoid head. They give me incorrect oil so when things go bad I say, man I should replaced that air filter. Im sure all of this is in my head, but guys, just change the oil!

Good service but got oil on my engine causing it to smoke. The smoking eventually stopped. They did wipe it off and spray it with water though. I trust my car to them. Simple mistake.

Barely an hr I was only there for my tire rotation oil and filter change in to get my fluids topped off I guess it really does depend on what type of service you get how long youll be there although there are people in front of me I got out of there pretty quick

I did not. It was not offered.Update: no window or vacuum but this time it said Covid for reason service wasn’t rendered but the entire time they were in and out my vehicle while I was in it. Just let me vacuum it myself with that huge shop vac next time guys.

This place is too busy trying to sale an expensive oil change that isn’t necessary for your vehicle! It’s a money grab at this place with SLOW service!!! It’s no way an oil change should take an hour when there’s only one other vehicle being serviced! I’ve advised my wife to use the Griffith location moving forward or avoid Jiffy Lube all together. DO BETTER and start treating people like customers and not ATMs you greedy mutts!

They rotated my tires and was trying to do it virtually but i believe the best way to do it is diagonally. As i drove away the tires were pulling to the left and i had to go into discount tire on 30 where they retightened my tires. After that there was no more pulling. The boys bust have done a lazy job on tightening my tires at jiffy lube.

Went in for a oil change. Time wait was a little longer but understandable. Greeter was very nice and explained things well. Next was the service...there was a gentleman working on my vehicle that did not seem to know what he was doing. He put my filter back incorrectly and I had another guy fix it for me. Also the same guy mention they didn’t have enough of something which made me concern If I was getting proper care at this place.

I really love this Location in Merrillville. Aaron Team is always professional, treat you with respect. I hadn’t been here in almost a year. I got a new car and went and got my oil changed and Aaron remembers my name every time. I came from gary to this location just because of the way they treat me, and Ill be back in 3mons!

The customer service was excellent

The oil change went fine, however, when they went to top off the coolant the cap on the overflow tank broke. I ended up being the one to get the broken part out of the filler neck and the store refused to cover the cost of the replacement cap.

Waited longer than I thought but that was understandable. Was not explained anything. Staff was rude. Never asked any questions or asked if I had concerns. Went to drive my car the next day after not using it after oil change and my car smells like it is burning and there is smoke coming out of the hood. I have been to this location before and never had issues but will not return.

Was told 10.00 oil change through byrider. Called day before to confirm. It cost me 38.00 they said we dont do that anymore! I bought my car in September, really! Charge for everything! NEVER AGAIN AND SERVICE WAS RUDE!

The manager and staff present on my last visit 1-20-21 all seem to be inexperienced. The manager actually lost a drill bit in my engine bed and lied to me saying he retrieved it. They were too busy trying to upsell a filter that they did not notice the low antifreeze during the inspection. I would not recommend this location for any service. They do more harm than good on vehicles.

They didnt really speak to me . i think i was maybe the first or second car of the day felt like they couldnt get me out fast enough i wanted to rainx my windows, but didnt bother to ask the guys seemed upset. i had a quest about oil change, asked if it was good for 5k miles was told yes but sticker mileage was 3500miles so really at a lost for this location. will Vist one of the other 2 within my area next time. and the one guy didnt wear a mask of anything 🙄

I regularly go to jiffy lube in various locations for an oil change. This jiffy lube forgot to put on the caps to my tires after checking the pressure. I was disappointed. Now I have to find out how to get more caps for my tires.

They service they did didnt exactly fix the problem but the advice they gave me did so im pretty satisfied with the service.

Got a coupon and called manager and he quoted me $24.95 w/ coupon. While sitting in line I confirmed price w/him again. After they drained my car of oil another young man came over and quoted me a price of $49.00+. I had no choice but to pay since I couldnt drive my car without oil. Called their corporate ofc. and was told they had an earlier complaint about the same thing. They said they would contact owner and get back to me, I am still waiting. Disputed charge w/ Discover and they said as soon as it officially post, they would cancel payment pending an investigation. Jiffy Lube is absolutely not a reputable business. Stay away.

I found a missing bolt on my breathing compartment to replace my car filter and this was after I asked the service representative and he said everything was fine.

Came for an oil change. Sprayed my window with something and my windshield wipers are not working. They did replace it but I would suggest leaving the window cleaning out..

**CAUTION**CAUTION**CAUTION**CAUTIONThey will mess your car and do all they can to not be accountable for their error. Against better judgement and advisement from others in past. In a crunch of time and need of a oil change I stopped at this location, I figured they might have changed staff from when others were damaged in past. I went there with a sound vehicle and left with damaged oil valve. I tried to take all steps to resolve and no help. My hand to the heavens this true and warning to all!!

I have never waited so long at all the Jiffy lubes once my car was pulled into the bay..smh so when it was all sad and done the reason I waited was because the system was down but in the end the service was good.
